This is Grandma from Texas. I love picking up the simple silver plated cake plates. They make lovely chargers (as do clear glass etc). I’m partial to silver plate because it elevates your table 😘
Love your videos, they are always so interesting. So many wonderful things. That little mouse picture, and you found the perfect spot for it! I get such a kick out of your big beautiful babies. Did you notice how lovingly your sweet doggie was watching you scoop out the scrumptious dessert. So cute.
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who gets excited by a find that I sometimes miss a little damage😅 but I like the Japanese approach that broken can still be beautiful. I recently bought a blue and white floral pitcher. I realized when I got home the handle had been broken and repaired. I still love it so disguised the break with a lovely ribbon ❤
For me, you seem so SWEET so you can say sweet as many times as you like. I think this is the second video of yours that I’ve seen, and I’d like to watch many more of yours. I’ll look for them. Thank you for posting your videos.
I’m new to your channel and I really love all of your finds. I think we are collectors and lovers of the same things. I noticed your tole trays and they’re beautiful. I have a huge collection of them. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Beautiful finds, I love the brass bedwarmer and all of your prints, trays etc. I would have a hard time selling my thrift finds because usually I pick them up because I love them. Anyway, I am too old now to try to have a booth but I think those who can are so lucky, I know they are work but what fun to thrift more often.
No need to apologize, sweet is your descriptive word! I love the green and white China you got, hoping you’ll do a decorate 🍀💚 with me for St. Paddy’s Day? Your desert looked divine.
I would totally purchase the lily of the valley skinny plate from you. My only child is a May baby and I was married in May to the love of my life 33 years now so I collect Lily of the Valley things. TFS Great finds.
Love the finds! I also get excited about some of my finds and don't always notice those imperfections. And those bowls with the plastic tops... I do handwash them, and they still crack! It's so frustrating!
The chamber pot should go on the floor under the dresser not on top. Don’t put it anywhere that it could be knocked over and spilled. However it is a VERY nice find. I have one upstairs in a spare bedroom. Anyone can use it but they have to clean it out them self. Enjoy the history.
Hi Kris where was the second Goodwill store that you went to in the video? Today I went to the place you recommended in Terryville. I got that blue and white plate with the ship that you liked. It was half off which was good because I thought it was over priced. I also got a William Morris pattern wooden wall plaque for only $2. I love it. Very nice things there thanks for the suggestion. 😊

Thank you so much for your very kind comments! My sweet dog loves two things in this life - food and me! She's sleeping on my feet as a write this. ❤️

Perfect solution! And I totally agree with you (and our Japanese friends) - broken can definitely still be beautiful.
Really enjoyed your video, will try to watch more. Thank you!
Thank you so much!

Haha! Thank you so much!
The desert look good
It was AMAZING! To be honest, I ate way too much of it.
Love that needle work piece and the mouse picture.
Thank you! I'm almost positive I'm keeping the mouse picture. He wants to live with me, I can tell!
Love the video. I am in love with pink depression glass.
Thank you so much! I love it too. I'm a sucker for any kind of depression glass, really.

I used to have an entire wall of tole trays! I'm happy to hear from someone else who appreciates and collects them!
@@WorthingtonHome I have an entire wall of them!! 🥰
I also like the needlepoint and the mouse picture. The wallpaper you were seated in front of is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing your finds!
Thank you so much for watching and leaving me a comment!
Clapping for you!!!!
Thank you!

I'm already struggling with it myself, but I'm also having a great time. Thanks for watching the video and taking the time to leave me a comment!
At 2:25 that platter is to hold a cup maybe a punch cup.
That makes perfect sense! Thanks for the info!
Cactus would be cute in the shallow planter with moss.
That would be perfect! The colors would like so nice together!

You must be reading my mind! My St. Patrick's Day decor video comes out on Wednesday!
I too started to pick up needle point and crewel embroidery. I can't let them end up in the landfill. Someone spent many hours creating them.
You and I are definitely on the same page!

That's so lovely! If I decide to sell, I will definitely let you know!
The brass funny shoes are pieces that are from the 17 to 18s hundreds. They were used to rest your feet while horseback riding .
They don't look too comfortable, I'm not going to lie....
Love the finds! I also get excited about some of my finds and don't always notice those imperfections. And those bowls with the plastic tops... I do handwash them, and they still crack! It's so frustrating!
That makes me feel a lot better! I always think the would hold up better if I were more careful with them!
That sharp plate looks like an old cut glass pattern, that could be a treasure!
Exactly!
Really? It was like a Chinese throwing star it was so sharp!
😂 I just took a screenshot of your BRASS CONQUISTADOR STIRRUPS! How crazy is that? There are several pair for sale, one $95. 🎉
THANK YOU for telling me what they are!
I wondered if they might be stirrups!
❤❤❤
Those brass things are called “brass conquistadors saddle stirrups” and like the cute bed warmer too
Thank you for the info!
You & that brass thing made me laugh out loud.😊 Hope it’s not possessed!
I'm just grateful that I didn't give myself a concussion with that crazy thing!

That's an excellent suggestion - I'm going to take it!

It was the Goodwill in Cheshire. I'm so excited that you went to Terryville and got some bargains!
And one more thing: I’ve done lots of crewel stitchery, knitting, etc. I would feel terrible if one of my pieces sold for $4.00.
Right???? It should be worth so much more. I'll definitely treasure it and find a use for it at some point.
Could the shoes be wall pockets?❣️
Someone just told me that they are brass consquistador stirrups! Too funny!
