I've known Eluveitie for quite some while.. But why the hell haven't I stumbled upon this song?!??!? Why youtube, why didn't you take me here earlier?!
yep,that is true,but Germanico later with some legions avenged that defeat,the fact that they didn't advanced in Germany is that the costs of that war would be higher than the profits.Later Marco Aurelio tried to pacify that lands,and in fact he invented a strategy to fight in the woods,so roman soldiers could be more eficient,but Comodo after his death wasn't very interested in continue battleling.
Srsly, Vên had among the greatest written songs of Eluveitie. Though not as catchy as their newer songs, but still memorable and most of all: Back then, metal wasn't just to make the sound "harder", but was an imminent part of the sound, as well.
amazing i love the flutes the guitar well uhm i love all of then eluveitie the best horns up eluveitie is the best pagan celtic metal ever no one can replace him no one eluveitie hell yeaaaahhh

Its a lot more similar to English Parliament, which developed from the Witangemot, (like and Althing), after being injected with Corpus Juris Civilis--Eastern Roman Empire's revival of Roman law in the 5/6th Cent. What is cool is that you can recall laws from English Common Law in Pennsylvania and have a decent case! The vikings were immensely ahead of their time. Hail vikings eternally

If the gauls would of stopped the roman conquest then western europe would be fairly different right now, france would of never came around, the roman's would of never had a presence in britain or their temporary presence in germany(under germanicus they held parts of germany until the teutoberg forest). Caesar would of never changed the roman republic to the empire. Western History would of been all effed up. yay for being a history nerd
