That's almost the same what I wanted for a Mii Sports Resort! I would also love to have some "role play" stuff like being able to sit, eat and so on. Also, there should be freediving in Wuhu Island. Would be cool to "register" other Mii characters as NPC's where you can also customize their clothes and preferred sports and so on. Like in GO Vacation, you can also have a Mii or more being your companion and you can do alot with them. Maybe a holding breath contest when swimming? High five? Hugging? And emotes you can do with them, be it on the ground, swimming, underwater or in a vehicle. A SCUBA diving activity would also be nice as it will reward you a SCUBA suit, allowing you to reach deep spots in the water. It would be awesome to freedive with a partner in Wuhu Island and maybe even search for trearues together in SCUBA gear! Great ideas you got there! I wish Nintendo will realize this in the future, I mean we already got Miitopia (which was a awkward choice since it already was the most recent Mii game), so this might give us some hope!
Now here’s an idea for you. What if you could invite your friends over to your island. So that way you can explore together! They can also come see your house :)
hero, this is such a fantastic video!!! so many great ideas, and you pitched them in a manner that all seemed so believable and easy to imagine. wii sports resort and especially wuhu island are two things that are extremely close to my heart, and it's so great to find a creator who feels the same way. the idea of being able to explore a fully realized, hd beautiful wuhu is honestly one of my biggest dreams in gaming, and the way you integrated that + unique ideas for how the sports/sports elements can be combined with that concept honestly had me so overtaken with positive emotion i had to pause the video and smile sometimes, as silly as that sounds. i really, really hope nintendo makes anything like this in the future. i'm really not a fan of switch sports, but im not giving up hope yet--after all, its very existence paves the way for the possibility of a switch sports like this to exist. i just want wuhu island, my comfort place that doesn't really exist, to make its return. thank you so much for making so many wii sports related videos, and if you read this have a great day!!! you've earned a new sub :)

Man, you don't have idea how much i would love if we got an Switch Sports/Switch Sports Resorts, probably Wii Sports is the game that i played most in my entire life
We all know that Nintendo would never make a timeless game that could be enjoyed by any age/demographic, and have that much detail. They're focusing entirely on pre-teens, subscriptions, and ingame purchases now. Cool video, wish this was a real thing (or.. if Nintendo Switch Sports was never released)
something i've always wanted was another island far north for ice sports like curling, bob sledding, hockey, skating and others, but maybe that deserves it own game called switch sports lodge
I’d pay $40 for this right now. the amount of thought you put into the gameplay, customisation, diversity, motion control, ease of use, and FUNNNN???!?! i want this game so bad 😭😭😭😭😭
If I had to give a recommendation on how the soccer controls would work, I would say make them like they were in Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic games.
@@honeneko True, Takashi did give 6 year old me nightmares. I dont know though, I just feel it would be more athentic to have the classic miis on classic Wuhu Island.
I don't care how fleshed out the game is, if we get a game on the Switch with an open world Wuhu Island that I can freely explore with not time limit, I would be happy.
Heres some more sports / activities Rally Racing (use the electric vehicles to do rally races around the island. Can also unlock to replace the bicycle.) Hockey (duh) Parkour (vault and climb and explore different gyms around wuhu, accumulating a score and style point system with every trick, depending on how fast you get to a finish line. (Maybe you also do a final run along the rooftops of the wuhu square) An addition to archery, skeet shooting. An addition to swordsplay, Showdown, a vr styled endboss where you fight against a fire breathing dragon and its skeleton army in the wuhu castle and volcano For winter sports, we could have ice fishing, ice hockey (outdoor hockey), figure skating, snowboarding, dogsled racing, snow shovelling competition, and a snowmobile race. There could be a snowball fight game mode in archery, and a snowman challenge on the world map. You could also make snow forts and have snow battles online with other players and their miis And finally, a casino. To play games like blackjack, slots, texas hold 'em (or my personal favourite, picture poker) and others. It doesnt cost any real life currency. All sports games give out wuhu medals, which are a currency you can use to spend on customization, for miis, vehicles, and interior hotel room design.
This concept is so good that Nintendo will never do it because with Switch Sports they showed that they only want a hypercasual game full of limitations because apparently that's what people loved about the first 2 games
I would add in a few things! 1) make the island a bit larger. I don't mean add loads to it, just make the physical island larger, because it is open world, so the island shouldn't be too small. 2) 'seasonal' games. I don't think there should be different seasons on the island, but for us, they could introduce some challenges/opportunities for each time of year like a Wuhu festival with special rewards. 3) community upgrades. with points or money or whatever that you win from each game, you could upgrade parts of the island and town, with changes to the interior or exterior of buildings, a bigger dock, stuff like that. 4) daily challenges. make the player take part in very specific events with very specific goals in order to win special rewards. and the final suggestion isn't something that's very likely, but I would enjoy it: some kind of Grand Prix event where you take part in a motor race around the island.
I would actually buy this game if it were real. The customization and open world have so much potential and theres so much more to do than past games which is great!
Oh man. Nostalgia hitting hard. I loved Wuhu Island when i was a kid. Some months ago i sold my switch because i didnt feel the same fun and enjoyment as in the old wii times but when Switch Sports Resort would be announced as you presented it i would buy a new Switch and that gane instantly. I ve always loved to fly over that island and visit all the I-Points, always loved the setting, the happiness and the vacation feeling when playing in Wii Sports Resort. I also loved the competetive feeling in basketball and table tennis. A multiplayer compatibility would improve that game also. We need some people working at Nintendo trieing to send this video/concept to their bosses :DDD

It’s as the great man Alpharad always said, “No game is a good game without a fishing minigame.” So happy to see one in this vid.
I didn’t realize how many other people were also enamored with WS Resort. Keep up the great content!
I've been dreaming about this for years now... I wish
I love the way you pronounce vehicle, it's like we-hickle
Wiihicle
despite my never having played this game, this is the second time ive watched this video out of pure love for this game and wanting it to existttt
I feel like if we started a petition and sent it to Nintendo we'd get millions of signatures 😂
please do so 😆
I WOULD SIGN IT!
There is a petition
@@OmegaKatana really
WE SHOULD START A PETITION!
My wallet is ready, now i just need the order button.
I only liked cuz of ur pfp I won't lie
This NEEDS to exist or I'm gonna go insane.
Love how we have to imagine stuff when the reality is drip-feeding of ports.
Man, you don't have idea how much i would love if we got an Switch Sports/Switch Sports Resorts, probably Wii Sports is the game that i played most in my entire life
you happy now?? haha
@@TJCoolzD MAN YOU DON'T HAVE IDEA HOW HAPPY I WAS IN THE MOMENT THEY ANNOUNCED
This aged well :)
sorta
kinda
almost
a bit
somewhat
I’ve already watched this video 4 times and dreaming about this game being a reality
This reminds me of a blend between Wii Sports & Go Vacation with even more going on. I love it!!!!
Nintendo needs to hire this man! He’s going to make so many dreams come true if this ever happens.
“Land in the middle of Wuhu town”
Proceeds to crash a plane into wuhu town
Copied
I’d pay $40 for this right now. the amount of thought you put into the gameplay, customisation, diversity, motion control, ease of use, and FUNNNN???!?! i want this game so bad 😭😭😭😭😭
Wouldnt be suprised if they actually make this into a game, amazing viedo my guy keep it up!
I would buy the switch just to play this. The way you described this was perfect!
This is actually so sick. A year later and still such an amazing video.
If this releases it would be the best game of all time
If I had to give a recommendation on how the soccer controls would work, I would say make them like they were in Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic games.
I would buy this game. An open world Sports Resort game would be amazing!
Love how you combined Go Vacation with Wii Sports!
I think that for soccer you could use the leg strap provided with the regular Switch Sports. Great vid btw!
Hey, you forgot about us!
-the Wii U miis
You have to pay to to see you In the game
No offense, but most you Wii u Miis look werid.
Not you though
@@andy.burbulis1899 Tbf, the Wii miis also have a lot weird ones, examples being Hiromasa or literally like half of them lmao
@@honeneko True, Takashi did give 6 year old me nightmares.
I dont know though, I just feel it would be more athentic to have the classic miis on classic Wuhu Island.
@@andy.burbulis1899 Yeah I agree, I don't even remember the names of like 1/3 of the Wii-U ones
I don't care how fleshed out the game is, if we get a game on the Switch with an open world Wuhu Island that I can freely explore with not time limit, I would be happy.
Heres some more sports / activities
Rally Racing (use the electric vehicles to do rally races around the island. Can also unlock to replace the bicycle.)
Hockey (duh)
Parkour (vault and climb and explore different gyms around wuhu, accumulating a score and style point system with every trick, depending on how fast you get to a finish line. (Maybe you also do a final run along the rooftops of the wuhu square)
An addition to archery, skeet shooting.
An addition to swordsplay, Showdown, a vr styled endboss where you fight against a fire breathing dragon and its skeleton army in the wuhu castle and volcano
For winter sports, we could have ice fishing, ice hockey (outdoor hockey), figure skating, snowboarding, dogsled racing, snow shovelling competition, and a snowmobile race. There could be a snowball fight game mode in archery, and a snowman challenge on the world map.
You could also make snow forts and have snow battles online with other players and their miis
And finally, a casino. To play games like blackjack, slots, texas hold 'em (or my personal favourite, picture poker) and others. It doesnt cost any real life currency.
All sports games give out wuhu medals, which are a currency you can use to spend on customization, for miis, vehicles, and interior hotel room design.
Honestly, if this comes out nintendo would make a comeback
I hope the success of mitopia pushes them in this direction to keep making or remaking mii games. They were so fun!!!
Nintendo definitely missed an opportunity there... such a good video and ideas!!
This is AMAZING. They need to create this. Maybe also have American football and hockey? That would make it an ultimate sports experience
I’m hoping for a Switch Party.
Thanks for reminding me! We need this! Time to bond with my siblings and ruin them in glob trot!
That and Switch Fit!
I would absolutely get this game; it sounds amazingly entertaining, and I hope Nintendo hears this amazing idea
This is just what we all want, its perfect!
I would actually buy this game if it were real. The customization and open world have so much potential and theres so much more to do than past games which is great!
I think, similarly to Matt being a hidden champion of swordplay, Elisa should be a secret tennis boss
Imagine this with the mii creation from miitopia (switch version)
That would be sweeet
I would buy this in a heartbeat! Nintendo so needs to hire you!
If only Nintendo Switch sports was like this
Since wakeboarding, canoeing, and jet skiing are all water sports, I’d loop them all together in one bundle called “Water Sports.”
If a game like this ever gets made, I'm buying a switch just to play it!
