I'm gonna use this opportunity to say that my biggest issue with Tomodachi Life is that the differences between personalities are unnoticeable to me and that the game needs like ten times the amount of apartment dialog to stay interesting for long periods of time
@@casinopolis its pretty difficult to notice if you dont pay attention to the fine details, but things like tomodachi quest character type, friend and romantic interests, idle stance and food preferences change with the personalities
I agree that some small amount of control over the Miis’ love lives would be a good idea because I’m honestly still a little traumatized by my dad’s Mii rejecting my mom’s Mii while my siblings and I watched helplessly and then had to cure the mom Mii of her depression 😂
But I also want to see more development in the miis like instead of asking about everything maybe they'll develop something they'll say when they're angry and if it's directed to a different mii then it worsens their relationship or make it so that they fight more often and I'd also like to see the miis go to school and you can mess around with what they learn or learn stuff with the miis like Island history
Lmao same when I was little back then my girlfriend (not anymore she moved to Alaska) was in love with Steve from the epic adventures of the world of Minecraft. I was in so much stress. I wanted it to stop but didn’t want any of them to be depressed. 🤣
what i've always been frustrated about is the fact that in boy/girl talks, nothing they say has an impact. Let's say A says "I heard B sing all night..." then you go to B's appartment, you talk about what happend and there's a fun interaction! I really want to see this in the future.
to the people who may see this, i notice a lot of people talking about their look-a-like mii trying to get with their family members, but the "Relationship to you" menu in the mii maker for the game does actually prevent a mii from getting with you as a family member, and other family members. Im not sure if selecting "spouse" does anything, although i would assume it would boost their relationship statuses or prevent them from being bad.
I did that for me and my brother so the game made sure we were related. The bulletin board thing said my actual child in the game and that same brother would be a great romantic couple 😵💫 like my daughter is obviously set to my child. I guess the game couldn’t tell that far??
It didn't for me. My Mii wanted to ask my dad out even though in the "Relationship to You" for my dad was selected to be my dad so it didn't always work
Unfortunately it is only limited to your lookalike and their relationships. I think that it could really benefit if you could specify every miis relations to each other to prevent weird shit
A new *Tomodachi Life* game is probably my most hoped-for game announcement ever. My friends and I had so much fun with the game on the 3DS so a sequel that adds more would be amazing
I agree I really want them to bring tomadachi life to the switch cause I always like visiting the miis in their homes and enjoying the island features fingers crossed 🤞🤞

True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! Have a blessed day, everyone! ❤
Your worries (yes, anxiety), depression, suicidal thoughts, EVERYTHING will melt away and be NO MORE when you lean on God and put your trust in him! When I have physical pain, I literally pray and the Lord quells it, that I am healed! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! People are bothered by his name. The world hates the truth and wants to continue living sinfully! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous.
It does it just a image he imagining this game is not real Nintendo has not post anything like this neither did Nintendo Direct will splatoon 3 is coming to Nintendo switch
Make it so that characters can be related to other characters: for example: When you add your brother/sister into the game, there's a drop down menu where you can select "Brother" and Your Mii. Characters that are related don't fall in love with each other, and start off as friends. This'll prevent blursed relationships that were pretty frequent in the first game.
And with their already being family mechanics its really strange that the only way on the 3ds to make Mario and Luigi brothers is to create a mom and dad for them have them get married and have two kids.
@@Blue-fg8vt an easy way to implement this is to just make it so that miis that share a last name are related, but that could also be a lil confusing because what if u just want a mom and a son for example, idk
I absolutely love the job idea! It would add so many more unique and fun interactions. I can imagine a mii becoming a lawyer and you can watch a trial where Sans Undertale is accused of stealing The Rock's brussel sprouts.
LMAO I can already see myself laughing out loud watching a trial between Sonic and Judge Judy who were arguing on why they saw Omori with Nineteen the other day lmao
I think it would be cool if the money the miis had could be spent by the miis. Like a random chance a mii when your offline would buy a hat a some food for themselves
They actually do buy food for themselves sometimes. Usually when you haven't played for a while, you'd enter some of their apartments and they'd have some food in their stomachs They don't buy clothes tho
I think it’d be so funny if all the mii’s had social media like Twitter or Instagram and you can see their updates depending on their personality type like some would be like “at the beach with my boyfriend!!” And others would be like “just beat another game. My cat is cute when he wants my attention.”
Lmao, nice concept haha! There could be some drama too for example when a Mii just broke up and keeps roasting their ex everyday, and the ex responds one day with a pretty huge roast, and the Mii keeps getting cancelled by other Mii’s, or when a second-gen Mii (aka a Mii child from a married couple) can be like “my parents won’t let me get an account so I decided to do this secret one!!” And one day one of the parents who’s on the platform finds out and roasts their child by making a post like “just found out my kid had an account without telling me!!! By the way @[whatever the kid’s username on the platform is], you’re grounded!!!!!!!!!! 😠😡😡” I swear if that’d happen, I’d be laughing my lungs out so hard I wouldn’t be able to talk for a week 😂🤣 Anyways, this could happen if we like give the mii a cellphone gift, except it’s not those phones on the current Tomodachi Life but smartphones like the ones used nowadays. And the platform name could be like MiiTalk or something that has Mii or anything Mii or Tomodachi related lol. That’d be super cool and hilarious and make the game have even more drama lmao.
Oh, I see. You got what you wanted with Switch Sports, so naturally you move onto the next mii-focused game. And honestly I don’t blame you. I’d kill for a Tomadachi Life sequel or even a port.
Yea same honestly. It's the only thing missing and Miitopia kinda feels lonely without it's older brother. I'm fine with anything but i just want silly Mii shenanigans on an island on my nintendo switch
Yeah cuz Miitopia came from the popularity of Tomodachi Life, so idek why we got a Miitopia port (which I think is still good) but no Tomodachi Life port
Ever since I got the game a few years back, I have always thought of a movie theater in game. It would have your characters on the screen in many different genres of movies, from a superhero movie to one set in the wild west. There would also be things happening in the audience, like a mii on their phone while people angrily stare at them.
I've seen multiple comments saying this but I will say it again, there needs to be an option to list mii's family members, and not just your look a like mii. That way maybe some miis that are supposed to be married start out married (but don't get a house unless you help them pay for one?). Then I also don't have to worry about sibling miis asking each other out. Just giving the player a bit more control over relationship dynamics they want, but also leaving it as optional for players who don't want to do that. The pet idea is also a good one. Perhaps even throwing in a few wacky ones like your mii being able to adopt a mini dragon or something. Or even things from nintendo properties? Like imagine having a goomba follow your mii around. To throw my own idea in, maybe expand upon cooking? Like making custom dishes and certain miis will like different flavors or ingredients in it. Say a mii likes strawberries and you make a strawberry cake, they are more likely to like it. Perhaps a bit of customization with clothing? Like being able to add patterns or details to certain clothing. More hair style options would be great too. Honestly I could go on and on. There's so many good ideas. I will continue to cope for a tomodachi life 2 for as long as it takes.
@@SonicXtreme99akaCreeperMario I'm talking about Miis outside of the ones related to your look a like. There's no way (to my knowledge) to prevent it if you have two miis related to reach other to prevent them from dating.
More things I want in a sequel *More locations like a hot spring, dojo, hospital, shopping mall, farmers market, hair salon, etc (maybe even special things like a traveling circus) *The ability to obtain items to make things (crafting clothes or actually cooking food) *Vehicles like cars, boats, and trains *Instead of rooms just receiving wallpapers, you can individually design each Mii’s room in an Animal Crossing way *When Miis get married, you help them put their wedding together and even design their house *More holidays and events that are celebrated
I would love to design the weddings tbh. Like picking out the dress style/color or the suit color. Talking to the miis before the wedding happens, and maybe picking bridesmaids or walking down the aisle and that stuff. Or just more design in the game in general since I like designing
the wedding idea is great, although i think the design of a miis house should be up to them. like you give them the furniture and they place it where they like
Maybe if this game were to have a new soundtrack, there could at least be the option to change it to the old soundtrack whenever you wanted to. Similar to what they do in Mario Party Superstars with their boards.
I'd add a thing where you can go into "mii mode" to walk around some parts of the island. It would be very barebones, as its really just an expansion of the "looking around the room" feature of the original tomodachi life, just to let you see your miis doing their quirky behavior in a different perspective. But nothing more than that
2:48 the personality types are actually based on MBTI, which only has 16 personalities. They probably won't make it more than that. (I know the 16personalities test has 32 personalities, but that isn't MBTI.)
I think at this point someone should start a fake fangame sequel. Pretend it's in development for awhile. If Nintendo sends a cease and desist, that confirms they're making a sequel or at the very least acknowledge the demand.
Just wanted to mention something from 2:48 The reason why there are 16 personalities in Tomodachi Life is because they are based off of the 16 Myers Briggs personalities! Though I do really like the idea of expanding the list of unique personalities to 25.
@@EF-kk3vh they type based on different things so it's hard to say that either one is more accurate, but given that mbti's typing relies on cognitive functions and that's a bit complicated for a game like tomodachi life, a typing system that just types based on 5 axes is much more suitable for tomodachi life
@@seyspectra the 16personalities test is, but that isn't real mbti. real mbti is based off of cognitive functions (such as, for example enfp = NeFiTeSi.) mbti is a completely different system from the big 5.
Yuri who is 15 on my island wanted to ask my brother who was back then 8 years old💀 (he turned 9 a month ago) and ofc I didn’t accept and Yuri was sad for a couple days cuz I felt too lazy to cheer her up lol
@@Konata_TheRappa07I have a question about when they’re sad…if they’re left alone do they just eventually get over it? Because if so there are some Miis that I don’t care about enough to cheer em up
I've never been so hyped up for a game that doesn't actually exists yet ngl. The only other thing I'd really want is an ability to give relations to the miis, as you were able to only set them "in relation to real you" in the game, or, in a perfect world, be able to lock out certain relationships statuses in mii by mii basis, but that seems a bit too out of place, can be easily manipulated, etc. I guess the reason for this idea is rather obvious.

Ideas for island themes: Temperate Islands: All seasons Classic island, Alpine island, Spring island, and Fall Island Tropical Islands: Wet and Dry seasons Summer island, Desert island, Jungle island, and Volcano Island. Polar Islands: Light and Dark seasons Winter island, Mountain island, Iceberg Island, and Space Island.
@@gechoman44iwantahippo which is bad because their fans are their customers. I‘m not saying you should only listen to fans, but if a lot of people are saying the same thing you should at least consider it.
Yeah that would be so cool! But according to their actions for the newest animal crossing game, I‘m afraid they’re going with „one island per switch“ instead…🙄
Omg yeah!! One island where I go with the flow, the other where the couple actually go with the characters they are with/I ship them with in the actual show lol
For someone like me who thinks 100 islanders is nowhere near enough and love having different gimmicks for islands (like a specific series or a set outfit for each islander), multiple files would be perfect.
Yesss this would be so awesome! I don’t have enough space for all the characters I want and all the OCs I want in the current game. I’ve even considered buying a second copy of the game to add all the characters I want haha.
I'd love for this to be a real sequel! Though, one more thing I'd like to have is miis being related to each other. I don't want my uncle dating his aunt.
even if it was like a sub menu in the create a mii area, I would too. I don't think I added any family members to mine as I lived off of QR codes and miis I created myself but it would be really helpful.
In the game if you put in you have a sibling and a parent for two different miis, those mins won't be registered as related so my brother and my mom could get together 😥
One thing I would absolutely want... Is for there to be an option to create a "family tree" option without absolutely needing to have two Mii's get together first. It would remove some random aspects, but it would also remove some awkward situations if you have characters that are related and keep pursuing other miis that you would not want them to. @@;; Being able to create links would be good to just eliminate that, but could also provide new interactions relating to family dynamics all together! Another thing I would want is more mini games in general. If there is a park or carnival- Park: Some mii's may ask to play hide and seek. It could be like wheres waldo, where a bunch of random miis are surrounding your own and you have to find them! Or you have to click on areas of interest to find all the miis. You have a limited amount of spots to check, and a certain amount of miis to find, with a certain amount of tries. How well you do could get you a prize! A frisbee toss game maybe? Where you just try to rhythmically play catch with another mii. Its just for high scores! Carnival/Faire/Boardwalk: Typical games you could find like Ski Ball, water gun games, etc. You could earn tickets to maybe get that location's exclusive item shop that also refreshes like the other stores! I could talk about this all day, haha
Yeah and about the family, it would be cool if married Mii’s could have multizigot babies for example twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, etc. The more babies, the rarer the condition. And another cool option for Mii customization would be giving them rare genetic/skin conditions like albinism, vitiligo, heterochromia, etc. And also and option to limit the amount of babes per couple cuz some players have had couples with like 20+ babies lol
Going off your idea on Mii’s being assigned and unlocking jobs, I had the idea of skills. Skills would let your miis do better at certain jobs and other things, so say a mii has a good cooking skill they get a bonus/unlock working at the food store and can make better food when given a frying pan. Same can be done with tailoring and the clothing store.
perhaps hobbies too, your mii choosing to work on a skill because they find it entertaining (eg. you might walk in and theyll tell you they made some food earlier)
Love this!! The biggest thing for me as a bisexual would be adding same sex dating/marriage. I like dating guys on the game but so often I wish I could date girls too. Plus my cousin is non-binary and I'd love to be able to give them they/them pronouns on their character. Also, adding age groups like child, teen, adult and senior and only being able to have miis fall in love from the same group is a brilliant idea. It weirds me out when grandparents fall in love with people in their 20s on my game. And also more control on styling outfits, I like that too.
@@XBen2366 I'm just gonna label you as dumb it's called Tomodachi "LIFE," not Tomodachi Pride. Putting all that stuff in comes with so much confusion. What's the sense in giving mii's genders with non-binary ppl, plus Nintendo's not gonna create a freaking adoption agency for all same-sex marriages? That's bullcrap The whole point of Tomodachi life was for mii's to live a life and make friends, not going around talking about not having genders and same-sex the fact that people want to force LGBTQ+ into people's lives with games and books is ridiculous and it's not happening. And Tomodachi means friend hence Friend life, not friend Pride @Bueni you clearly are the definition of a "BAKA"🤣🤣🤣🤣
I already said this though, but i think removing the relationships from the original Tomodachi Life and putting in the friendship levels from Miitopia, which has lots of good things i pointed out in another comment but for this specific comment and it’s replies i’d like to add one more thing that would make it work good, it would make certain people and a certain country that banned Miitopia to like the game
I was concerned as to how you were going to handle the whole same-sex romance request because people were saying Nintendo should go the Sims route and have each Mii be bi, but I never liked that idea, since I would rather have my player Mii have the same sexuality as I do. But you did a good job with handling it. Also, I would rather keep the music hall as is. As much as the theater is a good idea, the songs have been in the Tomodachi Collection series since the beginning. I do like the ideas of having there be auto-save, Nintendo items, a way to get a pet, separate clothing items, and separate save files for each profile. The problem with having more Miis in each apartment is that there is a limit as to how many Miis can be made. I would also suggest the dogs and cats looking like how they do on Wii Fit and less like Nintendogs to add to the style of the Miis. I would also suggest adding the wigs from Miitomo as an item you can buy or unlock as well. EDIT: I just got a couple more ideas. For the songs in the music hall, I would suggest a lyric input method that would match the timing of the melody similar to inputting lyrics in Vocaloid or UTAU. Another idea I had was to fix family relationships for your player/look-alike Mii to keep your parents and grandparents married instead of complete strangers and to keep other family members like cousins also related to you too. Same would apply with other Miis with family members who are related to them. Another Idea is being able to edit QR code Miis, even though QR codes aren't supported on the Switch. Or maybe to add to your idea of getting Miis through codes, having the ability to edit those instead of not being able to edit them like with QR code Miis.
Nintendo could honestly increase the Mii maker limit size to 1000 and update the customization options. Only being able to make 100 Miis is honestly ridiculously small.
I feel a good way to get around sexuality things is to have an option like how you can choose your favorite color. That way people can be with the people they are attracted to.
Definitely agree with the family system! I never did put my family members into the 3DS game like other people but it would make everything easier and not cause anything weird. I was gonna say clothing can be put on anyone regardless of gender but remembered it was already like that in the original (or I think most of the clothing was?)
I remember having a lot of people in my island and i even managed to send my mother to space. But one day i was dumb and i decided to wipe my data to make a "joke" island filled with just one character. But ever since that day i have not played the game because i was heartbroken that i lost the data. It felt as if i shattered bonds that were important to me. It happend over 6 years ago now but i still regret it to this day. May my save data rest in peace.
I feel you, man. I've wiped my save data a few times now, but the first time I considered doing it as a kid I felt such strange guilt about it. I even asked my grandma (who I was with that day) if I should do it, though she wasn't really able to help with that. I did it anyways, but my lookalike mii pleading for her life really didn't help how I was feeling
To add, I find it really weird that the speed at which you move affects your personality. I think Easygoing Softie would be more like me but I don't wanna set my speed super slow
@@isafalcon275 I mean, for Outgoing and Independent I can see them moving fast, whereas Confident and Easygoing I can see moving really slow, but I can run pretty fast (when I want to), and I'm apparently a Confident Designer. XD
PLEASE, THIS IS SO CREATIVE AND I ADORE ALL OF YOUR IDEAS! I'd love for this to happen, it's a perfect set-up! How you explained hypothetical new features while also staying true to the original gameplay shows how much you paid attention and care about it. :D
I loved making superheros and famous people, it would be interesting if there was an option to give them superhero or famous so that other mii's would freak out when they saw them, or be more nervous about meeting them.
I can just imagine a few Nintendo employees watching and just being like: "WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!" Edit: I know no Nintendo employees are gonna write all of this information down, I just thought it would be funny if they would!
Something I think would be great to add in a Tomodachi Life sequel would be making it so the mii's could interact with the furniture and things in their apartment! When I was younger and got the game for Christmas I was disappointed to see they didn't interact with the furniture! Great video, I love all of your concepts as well
You literally took the words out of my mouth, I've been telling my friends that I've wanted these new changes for a Tomodachi on the Switch for ages!!! I'm so glad I found this video and I really hope that all this happens in the near future!
More age ranges, same sex marriage and more costumization and personalities would be great! Nonbinary mii options also sound really cool! In my opinion it wouldn’t only benefit the queer community, but also the creativity of EVERYONE. Usually you’re supposed to put real life people into TL, but I honestly always put fictional characters or OC‘s in there. If there were nonbinary options you could make not only humans, but also stuff like genderless robots, gods and creatures. I know the „non-human enby“ is a bad stereotype, but a lot of people are lgbt-phobic, ESPECIALLY enby-phobic and if something is marketed to the queer community exclusively there would be a lot of customers who would not want it. Even under this very video there are comments dunking on the nonbinary option idea. But guys! It’s not only good for the queer community! You could also put a lot more creative characters in there!
To do with Mii’s I’ve had the ideas for different body types/abilities. For example, rather than just making them wider/thinner and taller/shorter we could choose what part of a Mii get’s wider/thinner. Like we could give a Mii very large shoulders for an example, or we could give a Mii very short legs but a very tall upper body. Connecting on somehow, we could choose if a Mii would be missing any limbs, or missing any facial features etc. We could also get the option of wheelchairs/crutches for a Mii. Another idea is a ‘Hospital’ building. A Mii could get hurt and they could go to the Hospital. They could come out with bandages, casts etc. It could last a certain time before the Mii says something like ‘The Doctor said I can take ____ off now’ or something like that. Those are just two of my ideas
Ruffled through my 3ds cartridges the other day and revisited this game, I played it religiously, but it’s so nice to see that people haven’t forgotten about this game, and hopefully Nintendo hasn’t either.
I love Tomodachi Life, but as fun as the original is, it gets a bit repetitive over time. All of these ideas are very cool and it would be SO great if the sequel became real! I really hope they plan on making it sometime.
More item slots for miis would be aaaabsolutely amazing. A few items, maybe such as “gardening kit”, “toaster” (or various kitchen things), “microphone”, etc would be super cool and add to Miis personalities :)
I LOVE Tomodachi Life, and I've been thinking about a sequel forever...!! I think this video really hits the nail on the head with a lot of features (particularly the ability to customize pronouns, you CANNOT imagine how refreshing it is to hear that as a trans person) but here's some other ideas!! - Family trees! I hate that you can only make Miis related to your lookalike. You should be able to add Miis to a family as siblings, parents, and partners (both dating and married). I think it would be cool to have "friendship trees" so Miis who would realistically know each other CAN know each other, but that's not as important. I think you shouldn't be able to modify how good their relationships are off the bat, though. Part of the charm of the game is seeing two people who SHOULD hate each other get married instead. - Expansion of body types. Miis should be able to be taller and stockier, and you should be able to give them a wide variety of different skin tones, hair colors, and eye colors w/o using makeup. I want my Miis to both be more racially diverse AND to sometimes be able to be bright green. - I think it would be cool if personalities did a little more. Personalities never felt like they did a lot in the original game. I think Miis with nice personalities should be a lot nicer (giving you actual gifts after you lose at minigames, sometimes calling you over just to thank you for your hard work, donating more at the fountain, etc.), while Miis with less nice personalities should be horrible to interact with (always giving you cheap gifts after playing minigames, calling you over to insult you, refusing to donate at the fountain, etc.) I think it would be really funny if it could pull an Animal Crossing Gamecube on you and have Miis call you over JUST to steal your stuff if they're really unsatisfied. Never enough to seriously hurt you, just enough to be funny. - Island happiness should also be a MUCH larger feature -- the more regularly you play, the more problems you solve, etc., the more Miis donate to you, compliment you, give you gifts out of the blue, etc. - Additional gift options. I think Miis should have a section for pets/mounts, instruments, and misc. gifts (maybe even more than that...). Pets should be expanded to a much larger variety, and instead of Rent-A-Dog/Cat coupons, these pets will forever stick with your mii. It should include everyday pets like dogs, cats, and fish, exotic pets like birds, spiders, and snakes, and fantastical pets like dragons, unicorns, and griffins. Miis should be able to ride around bigger pets. It should get really silly with it, b/c what is Tomodachi Life if not silly and extra? also pet clothes is SUCH A GOOD IDEA I love it so much - Customization options for the fountain that buff certain events. A pink fountain with a heart-shaped water spout that makes Miis fall in love more, a fountain that uses gold coins instead of water that makes you earn more money, a fountain made of flames that makes Miis get into more arguments, etc. - Enemies. If your Mii is friends with someone, and they get into an argument, the game flips a coin and there's a 50/50 chance your Miis will become nemeses instead. Enemy Miis basically have a normal friendship, except they fight every time they hang out. It would be cool if they could also cause drama in their friend group and make it so that Miis who are friends with both of them have to pick a side in order to continue being friends with either. Toss in a spoonful of romantic tension if Miis hate each other a lot and you've got a VERY funny addition to the game. - Lookalikes should have a lot more functionality. You can order your lookalike to do something, like set up two Miis, try to break up a couple, start drama in a friendship, help a failing marriage, etc. The issue is, if your lookalike does too many evil actions, the entire island will start to turn against both them AND you... so you shouldn't have too many funny couples get together that you'll later want to break up. - More poison items. I hate Catch so much and I want to feed my Miis moldy bread when they make me play it. either that or let me fling them around a little (to be clear we should keep Catch because it sucks and that's hilarious) - more ideas about sexuality/gender: gender is going to be really hard to program in a way that can please everyone; imo the best option is to add a "nonbinary" gender that starts with its pronouns as they automatically. there should be an "Advanced Customization" option where you can choose a bunch of other stuff for your mii, things like walking speed (now unrelated to personality!), and also customize their pronouns. this way, nonbinary people aren't stuck with our miis being male/female but using our pronouns, and people can customize pronouns! it's not perfect but it's a step forwards (and holy shit if we don't need a step forwards) if nonbinary people are added, then have the dropdown menu say "this Mii will date/marry...." with options for girls, boys, and nonbinary people. you can check off whoever you want your Mii to be attracted to, and you can also check off none of them if you want your Mii to be aro/ace.
Listen, sweety, I love all your ideas except one. If you add pronouns, then it's just gonna be confusing cuz ain't nobody calling a mii/sportsmate they/them? It sounds weird and ridiculous cuz marrying a person without a gender is absurd. What's the husband or wife supposed to say if they ain't got a gender? Precisely what's the so-called kid that they have believed they call them? Exactly makes no sense which is y Nintendo avoided it out of confusion. But other than that, I agree with body types because it would be so lovely to have leg and arm, and abdomen thickness. Also, girls could add breast options because I'm tired of the flat chest look, which is why I think getting rid of the mii's and putting the Sportsmates would be better.
@@palomillavalquez2110 kid can call them a parent, husband/wife can call them spouse, simple as that. non-binary individuals aren’t asking to be called “miI/spOrTsMate” now you look hella disrespectful. they/them pronouns can be easily used against one individual. what do you say when a persons friend is injured at a hospital? “oh i hope *they* get better!” so why can’t you do the same? learn to accept people like this exist. the addition of pronouns would help greatly for a lot of my family members are lgbtq themselves.
@@kornfan19 I'm not listening to your mumbo jumbo and it's spelled mii not "mil" secondly don't tell me what I have to do cuz I don't have to do anything like I really understand how Nintendo feels with you people trying to force them to put LGBTQ in the game when are you people gonna learn LBPTQ WILL NOT AND ISN'T GONNA BE FORCE INTO EVERY SINGLE THING AND PEOPLE AREN'T JUST GONNA PUT IT IN THERE BECAUSE STUPID FANS SAID SO STOP TELLING THEM WHAT TO DO THEY DON'T HAVE TO PUT LGBTQ AND ALL THAT CRAP IN THERE IF THEY DON'T WANT IT'S THEIR GAME NOT YOURS AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GO CREATE YOUR OWN. I didn't play the original Tomadachi Life, but I'd definitely be interested in a sequel after hearing others sing the first game's praises, especially if it implements the ideas you have here. Makes me excited about a game that doesn't actually exist... yet. Maybe it will soon.
I’m just confused how the makeup mechanic would work with the baby “Here’s your newborn child, wait lemme give it a minute need to give her some eyeliner to make her really slay” Honestly though I can see the makeup kit from the original returning, and you need to use it to apply Makeup
I like your ideas for the sequel game :D I think that remove the nervous part of help with the married proposal (like in tomodachi collection) would be so great because you don't have to afraid if your miis will become married at the end or separated in a few days. The babies could be care in more ways, like asigned their own clothes (like in the photoshoot) and give them porridge or food depending of their age in the house, and give them toys (like the objects) and we could see them play with the things that we gave them
I absolutely love miis, they're unironically one of my favourite parts of anything Nintendo's ever made. When Miitopia on the Switch was first announced, me and my fellow mii loving friends were screaming our heads off on Discord, and I'll never forget the excitement we felt. I would do anything for a Tomodachi Life sequel or port on the Switch, it's one of my favourite games ever and my entire soul will be complete
Hey i just wanted to say that the videos you produce are very well done, every single one of them is high quality. They're so comforting, we can all see that youre passionate about it. You're one of my favorites channels in all of youtube and i hope you stay doing what you like☺️
When I saw the notification for this video on my phone, I almost had a heart attack because I want a Tomodachi life sequel for switch so bad. Tomodachi life is also my favorite 3ds game. Plz Nintendo make it happen!
I think there should be some sort of Family Tree feature that lets you pick which Miis are related to other Miis. In the old game you could select which ones were related to you, but Miis not related to you could still marry their siblings.
In tomodachi life 2 if there ever is one, I would like to make it so that you can have multiple children in a household at once so that you can have wholesome sibling moments, and I would prefer it if it wasn’t just 5 days for the child to fully mature. I’d like to see children having crushes and friendships with the other children living in houses.
For handheld play, they could include a stylus in the box version, as It’s just a small addition and would fit in the case. Kinda like how they included the leg strap for sports 🙂🙂
we need jobs too. then you'd get a ton of options to choose for your mii. theres already the part-time job in tomodachi life but i would really like a job for the miis
Here are my suggestions: 1. Disabilities, such as wheelchairs. 2. Nationalities, and you could give a Mii an accent depending on their nationality. 3. Quirky personalities you can pick. 4. Weather preferences. 5. Clothing preferences. 5. Sexual preferences are available for certain age groups.
I think another good idea is if your Mii had the ability to become famous with their careers. Let's say you add Taylor Swift to your island and you want her to be famous, you can set her career to singer and make her famous. I just think that it would be cool if people wanna have a little bit more realistic gameplay, and also if they wanna make their lookalike famous.
i had so much fun playing tomodachi life as a kid, and deeply hope a sequel is in development. if i could request any video game to be made by any company, tomodachi life 2 would be my choice, which is saying a lot!
I recently got bored and decided to pick Tomodachi Life back up- and it's so much better than I remember! I hope Nintendo makes a version for the Switch, and I hope they use your video as a blueprint! Your ideas are exactly what I'd want to see in a future game. So glad UA-cam's recommended page actually works for once so I was able to see this. This video is awesome, can't wait to see what you put out next! :D
I think different save files would be amazing, but they should still add the funny animations when u for instance switch save files or make a new save.
the things i’d add to tomodachi life 2 is possibly some more hair colour ideas in the beginning of the game. i know it’s natural hair colour but, sometimes it gets annoying having no actual redhead hair or like no other shades of blonde. my second thing would be to make again, permanent hairdye that doesn’t come off when the mii takes a bath. make hair dye remover be a thing you could get too at like grocery stores and not have to wait for the mii’s to gift it to you. my third thing i saw someone say was possibly customisable apartment buildings. like do you want plaster, brick, stone etc. and some colour options for the type of thing you choose. it’d be really nice to do so. fourth is just to add more games if the mii’s wanna play as some of them get really boring and repetitive. again i love them, i’m just saying add a little more. and my final one which i had was just to add LGBTQ+ marriages. it’s kind of a hassle having to make a male character look like a female in order to get a WLW couple or vice versa. it’d be easier if you could just choose what they like or their orientation for them and that’s it. it’s really awkward when you do scan or make a character who is LGBTQ and they are dating someone who isn’t their actual preference of person you know? someone also just threw in which was interesting just more complex apartments like instead of when they go to sleep and a bed randomly is in the middle of the room, make their apartment go black like lights are off and just say they “went to bed in their room.” or make their apartments sectioned off into different rooms or places and not just ONE BIG room like a hotel would be.
This NEEDS to happen. All of these ideas would not only put a smile on the old Tomodachi Life players but also give an increible experience to those who have never played a single game of the series. Some other minor improvements i can think of are: *If two miis end up married, you can chose if they have a kid of their own, or adopt a new one. (In the case of same-sex married Miis, they'd only have the option to adopt). With the Adopt option, you'd be led straight to the Mii Character Creator Screen, giving you, the player, the full characterization of the baby Mii. With the have a child of their own option, there would come the next point: *A better child generator. If a better Mii creator is added, then the only fair thing is that the babies also have an increased amount of accuracy. This would be harder to archieve, specially if they'd actually allow us to have such a big character creator, but it is always possible. (Also just like in the previous game, you could edit the kid after being generated if you wish). *More room for married couple's houses, and the option to customize the interior and the exterior of them. Customizing a Mii's apartament would be cool, but the only way for them to be also customizable on the outside, is the outside of the apartament building as a communal area being customizable. *Different interactions between age groups. They will simply have different interactions depending on who they're friends with. An Adult might be seen helping a Teenager with homework, or an Elder buying a Child an ice cream at the park, for example. That way there would be both more dynamacy on a Mii's relationship's and the overall world. *Talent shows/contests. After giving a Mii certain objects, like a skateboard or a painting set, they'll be able to practice on their own, but you'll also be able to send them to practice. After a certain amount of days, a contest will be held, and you can receive special rewards if your chosen Mii wins, like exclusive furniture or very rare clothing.
I would love to see Mii’s have storylines, like a series of interactions with other miis that have a plot too them. Nintendo should get monolithsoft to help, since they make really good side quests in xenoblade and have a history of helping Nintendo with other projects.
What I'd like to see is more wedding variety, different setting, different cakes, different music, and different outros apart from the Mii bride throwing the flowers. I really wanna see different scenarios when you "beat" the game,i.e. having a child Mii grow up,cause I'm gonna admit,it does get boring seeing the same scenarios but with different Miis. Also also, after a Mii couple breaks up (or divorces) the Mii can have different memories as well, cause again, variety is nice.
Nintendo is really lucky to have someone doing all their work for them- and somehow still mess it up. Regardless, This sounds awesome! I was a huge fan of the old tomodachi life and I loved it so much.
Tomodachi Life is like if you’re playing with Barbie dolls, and you’re trying to get Barbie to hook up with Ken, but then she comes to life, slaps your hand, goes to the kitchen to make an omelette, then immediately almost burns her house down
im only five mintues in but the thought of miis having jobs kills me because one day you are going to visit a mii who, in the grating low pitch squeaky voice is going to say "i hate my job."
Something even cooler they could do with the island screen is make it so you get a sort of spectator mode that you can move around the island as you please, and sometimes you can see your miis going from place to place.
I'd love for it to happen but I don't think they would never do it because of the kids and people who still don't feel right the whole "not a man or a woman" thing- I hope any app could let the player decide their pronouns/gender expression. :(
(Warning : it’s a lot of suggestions so expect this comment to be super long!) Totally agree! By the way, it would be cool if married Mii’s could have multizigot babies for example twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, etc. and they can be identical or not. The more babies, the rarer the chances. Another cool option for Mii customization would be giving them rare genetic and/or skin conditions like albinism, vitiligo, heterochromia, etc. And also an option to limit the amount of babes per couple cuz some players have had couples with like 20+ babies lol. And also, we can choose a language of our choice in the game and it doesn’t necessarily have to be the system language, and it can be like the British or North-American grammar version or more, and we can also choose a language or accent our Mii’s can have and speak like a British or American accent, and if we have StreetPass traveller Mii’s from different countries, if they don’t know the language chosen for the island well we can help them learn with some minigames about grammar, spelling and other orthography stuff so it would make TDL2 an instructive game too, but it can also happen to Mii’s who just want to travel after giving them the travel ticket treasure. In the customizations, Mii’s can have religions, they can be Islamic/Muslim, Jewish, Christian, etc. or they can be atheist or we just can choose “?” if we prefer not to specify. And based off of the religion, if the religion chosen for the Mii has a restricted dress code, tradition or other things, there can be a toggle off/on button for if the clothing shop should have clothes respecting the dress code, food should have the respectful (for example halal food and other), traditions and other things should be displayed or activated in game (for example we can choose if a Muslim Mii has to wear a hijab and/or do their traditions at their home or not) Also, teenage Mii’s who date won’t want to propose until they’re 18, and they won’t necessarily get married right away, they can be fiancé/fiancées! It will be pretty rare but they might end up calling off the engagement, but if they don’t, after a couple of weeks they can get married, and on the big day, we can prepare the wedding, but watch out, there’s a time limit (for example we will have to gather stuff for the wedding and we will have 5 hours to do so)! Then if the Mii’s choose to want babies, we can prepare a baby shower for them too, but there will also be a time limit, with the same concept as the wedding. Next-gen Mii’s who grow up won’t really be adults just yet, they will be teens and will still live with their parents, but they can have jobs and use their wages to eventually buy themselves an apartment, but we can now interact with them and solve their problems just like their parents, and they can have fights with their parents like some type of teenage tantrums lol. Parents can have children without waiting necessarily for the kids to grow up fully, they can have another kid while they previous child is a toddler or even still a baby. If a couple can’t have babies naturally, they can have an option to adopt kids. If a player turns or already is 16+ years old, when their Mii’s fight, they might hear their mii’s say swear words to each other lol (but not the too vulgar ones like the “f” word or other stuff I can’t mention to avoid getting my comment deleted from UA-cam) and can have deeper events happen on the island. On the concert hall, we have more song options like Jazz, EDM, Lofi, Trap, RnB, Country, Classical (kinda goes with opera), KiddieBop, and we can choose if they have lyrics or not, if not, it can be a dance performance or a kind of beat minigame where we can use the +Control pads or ABXY buttons. and Enka, which is a traditional song hence why it was only available in Japan, can be unlocked along other regional types of music like Reggae, Bossa Nova, Compa and lots of others, if a Mii you add on your island is a nationality of the music since we can choose their nationality too when customizing (I hope this doesn’t sound racist) Mii’s can tell us if they want a partner or not (aka come out, but it’s all I can say due to my religious restrictions) And lastly, we can choose if a Mii is related to ourselves or other mii’s on the island, so that we avoid the Mii’s you made of siblings from one of your favorite shows fall in love like it happened with me on my island, except I know better so I chose bad match lol. It happened TWICE lmao. For example, I kinda took this from another commenter, but in the customization area there would be a “Related To” thingamagig and when you click on it you can select which Mii from your island and you can choose it’s their sibling, parent, child, cousin, etc. and same thing goes to your own Mii except there’s a more complex one with more options like grandparent, cousin, aunt/uncle, or just related if we don’t wanna specify. Anyways congrats for making it this far and hope you liked at least one of my ideas! English isn’t my first language so sorry for grammar mistakes haha!
I love *everything* you said. Nintendo needs to work on listening to the consumer voices when they’re making their newer games! I’d also love to add an actual matchmaker into the game! I know we had the comparability booth thing, but an actual matchmaker could either have a stand every few days or once a week, or could have a permanent shop. With the matchmaker, you would pay her in coins and you’d get an actual say in who could date who, instead of it just being just random (it would also be random, like normal). Then she’d send a letter to your two miis to meet at a place of your choice around the island. You’d get a cut scene almost exactly like when you help your miis to confess to their crush. Afterwards, they’d “send in” their ratings of the other person and based on what they say, they’d date (or not date, respectively)! I think it’d be a nice thing to be able to set up who dates who, because the random crush thing was cute and so fun to see the pink heart at their apartment, but having no voice in the matter could be annoying at times (like when my mom’s mii dated a TV character-)
All of this is great!!!! I really want Tomodachi content to be relevant again. The only thing I'd also add is more food/drink options/categories, and UNLIMITED GIFT SLOTS. Also more options for things to give your Miis when they level up in general. I feel like the level up system goes really underused in the game as a whole...maybe that's just me?
There definitely needs to be a sandbox option, too. Maybe you can have multiple islands/save games at once and choose whether to play traditionally or with sandbox. Sandbox would just be the same game without the money factor, so you can always choose from any food, hat, clothes or interiors for your miis without needing a certain amount of money to pay for it.
Something I really think could be cool is the addition of cliques. Like maybe miis who all have similar personality types or interests all hang out together and just chill. I also think adding enemies could be a cool concept--especially if the miis gossip about one another. I think it could lead to some very interesting scenarios.
i'd like that if you make a new character, you can say if they're related to another mii already on the island, so they don't end up dating their own relative...
Those are some great ideas, and here is what I have to say about it: 1. For your look.alike you need to set are they gay, straight, bisexual, ect. and their pronouns in game, and for the other characters you can also set that or you can put random and it would develop overtime. Coming out scenes would be cool too. And for homosexual marriages they would adopt a child that isn't a mix of those miis (like with heterosexual miis in tomodachi life), but rather it would be a completley random mii. 2. I totaly agree about the mii customisation from Miitopia being added to Tomodachi life 2 3. I think it would be a lot better if they added those age ranges. 4. Zodiac signs would be a cool feature, and of course it would be based of their birthday. 5. I agree about the new locations on the island. The theater excites me the most. I do think there should be a musical genre too. 6. I don't think there should be a campfire party at the beach. I think there should be night swim event or a night picnic. 7. I don't think we should have THAT much power over editing our island. It would overwhelm me and probably some other people. But I agree about customizing the apartment. 8. It would be cool if they added more pets and made them more interactive. And therefore there should be a pet shop. 9. Autosaving would be a lifesaver 10. You shoud be able to create multiple save files (with a limit of course). 11. Outfits should be more editable with shirts, pants, skirts, full body outfits ect. instead of just full body outfits. Wow I wrote so much-
It’s a kid targeted audience You shouldn’t have the different gender options whatever its confusing and weird if some 5yr old asks their mom what they/them Just like what happened to miitopia where they were playing with the idea of same sex relationships the game got banned in Russia and Netherlands until the age rating was changed
The one thing i would change is instead of having a "Look alike" Mii, Just let me Play AS my Mii. i want to be IN the Action, Not Outside looking in. Let me interact and influence other Miis more efficiently, that's all i ever wanted. Well, that and being able to walk around and explore the island ever since Wii Sports Resort made Woohoo island an entire map with all the activities connected that you can fly around in the plane minigame but not actually go there
I'm gonna use this opportunity to say that my biggest issue with Tomodachi Life is that the differences between personalities are unnoticeable to me and that the game needs like ten times the amount of apartment dialog to stay interesting for long periods of time
Agreed
i never noticed the difference either. i always assumed its just for the whole mii compatibility system they have for the relationships, lol

Lol i remember my mums mii got married to someone else and my dad was at their wedding

@@bazdog4464 lmao
But I also want to see more development in the miis like instead of asking about everything maybe they'll develop something they'll say when they're angry and if it's directed to a different mii then it worsens their relationship or make it so that they fight more often and I'd also like to see the miis go to school and you can mess around with what they learn or learn stuff with the miis like Island history
Lmao same when I was little back then my girlfriend (not anymore she moved to Alaska) was in love with Steve from the epic adventures of the world of Minecraft. I was in so much stress. I wanted it to stop but didn’t want any of them to be depressed. 🤣

@@Hi-lh7yc but that game has only been out for over 8 years (over 9 years in Japan).
I hope so and Nintendo better not make the same mistake they made with Nintendo Switch Sports.
what i've always been frustrated about is the fact that in boy/girl talks, nothing they say has an impact.
Let's say A says "I heard B sing all night..." then you go to B's appartment, you talk about what happend and there's a fun interaction! I really want to see this in the future.
Omg! that would be sooo Good!
There’s honestly so many things in the game that feel empty and repetitive
to the people who may see this, i notice a lot of people talking about their look-a-like mii trying to get with their family members, but the "Relationship to you" menu in the mii maker for the game does actually prevent a mii from getting with you as a family member, and other family members.
My Mii wanted to ask my dad out even though in the "Relationship to You" for my dad was selected to be my dad so it didn't always work
i did that for my entire family once and my mom still tried to ask out my brother… in the game
I did that but a character I made up still tried to get with my mii for some reason. Also the character I added as my spouse hated me😭
Unfortunately it is only limited to your lookalike and their relationships.

@@ponkocrossing or a special tab where you can select miis to be related to during mii creation.

I'VE ALWAYS WANTED THAT-
They actually do buy food for themselves sometimes.
Usually when you haven't played for a while, you'd enter some of their apartments and they'd have some food in their stomachs
They don't buy clothes tho
It's all good until one dumbass buys the "golden" room when you're away 😂

@@shrimpshufflr7745 Pocket money? Cool, thanks. Now I need 9,999,999 more dollars to go to outer space.
😠😡😡” I swear if that’d happen, I’d be laughing my lungs out so hard I wouldn’t be able to talk for a week 😂🤣
Anyways, this could happen if we like give the mii a cellphone gift, except it’s not those phones on the current Tomodachi Life but smartphones like the ones used nowadays. And the platform name could be like MiiTalk or something that has Mii or anything Mii or Tomodachi related lol. That’d be super cool and hilarious and make the game have even more drama lmao.

I would love if I didn’t have to stress about getting my parents together in game
What about making custom clothes like in animal crossing
Why do people keep saying this?
There’s a thing in the MII maker that says “relation to you”
So your sibling doesn’t try to date you
@@SonicXtreme99akaCreeperMario I'm talking about Miis outside of the ones related to your look a like. There's no way (to my knowledge) to prevent it if you have two miis related to reach other to prevent them from dating.
So basically Sims
More things I want in a sequel
*More locations like a hot spring, dojo, hospital, shopping mall, farmers market, hair salon, etc (maybe even special things like a traveling circus)
*The ability to obtain items to make things (crafting clothes or actually cooking food)
*Vehicles like cars, boats, and trains
*Instead of rooms just receiving wallpapers, you can individually design each Mii’s room in an Animal Crossing way
*When Miis get married, you help them put their wedding together and even design their house
*More holidays and events that are celebrated
I have one idea. There should be a sign that says "NO FILTHY SPOTLIGHT STEALERS ALLOWED!"
maybe the hair salon is where you could use the wigs from miitopia?
you suggest sewing clothing and i think it'd be cool if some miis did that for you, especially if it was your birthday
I would love to design the weddings tbh. Like picking out the dress style/color or the suit color. Talking to the miis before the wedding happens, and maybe picking bridesmaids or walking down the aisle and that stuff. Or just more design in the game in general since I like designing
the wedding idea is great, although i think the design of a miis house should be up to them. like you give them the furniture and they place it where they like
i hope they don't change the soundtrack, because its good, and it has an insane amount of nostalgia
But that would be lazy if they left it the same
@@Oracledraws im sure most people won't care
Maybe if this game were to have a new soundtrack, there could at least be the option to change it to the old soundtrack whenever you wanted to. Similar to what they do in Mario Party Superstars with their boards.
If they do use a different soundtrack, I’m pretty sure they’d use either remixes or derivatives of older ones.
I hope the make extended versions of the concert songs
I'd add a thing where you can go into "mii mode" to walk around some parts of the island. It would be very barebones, as its really just an expansion of the "looking around the room" feature of the original tomodachi life, just to let you see your miis doing their quirky behavior in a different perspective. But nothing more than that
That would be sooooo neat !
I would want to be in a plane, like pilotwings!
That’s actually such a cool feature
That would be super cool!!

2:48 the personality types are actually based on MBTI, which only has 16 personalities. They probably won't make it more than that. (I know the 16personalities test has 32 personalities, but that isn't MBTI.)
That was my first thought
Well, diffrent variations of personality maybe?
It was also based on the Greek one with 4. I honestly don’t really see how they could add more into that :(
i would love to create a psychopath mii
Maybe instead of adding more personalities they could make them more diverse
I think at this point someone should start a fake fangame sequel. Pretend it's in development for awhile. If Nintendo sends a cease and desist, that confirms they're making a sequel or at the very least acknowledge the demand.
Smart🤣🤣🤣
Just wanted to mention something from 2:48
The reason why there are 16 personalities in Tomodachi Life is because they are based off of the 16 Myers Briggs personalities!
Though I do really like the idea of expanding the list of unique personalities to 25.
yeah, i think for a game like tomodachi life it would be better to base off of the big 5 / SLOAN personality typing system as opposed to MBTI
@@kibo.mp4 ^^ the big 5 is more accurate anyway I’m pretty sure :)
@@EF-kk3vh they type based on different things so it's hard to say that either one is more accurate, but given that mbti's typing relies on cognitive functions and that's a bit complicated for a game like tomodachi life, a typing system that just types based on 5 axes is much more suitable for tomodachi life
@@kibo.mp4 Isn’t the Mbti based off the big five?
@@seyspectra the 16personalities test is, but that isn't real mbti. real mbti is based off of cognitive functions (such as, for example enfp = NeFiTeSi.) mbti is a completely different system from the big 5.

@@joshuaconnally well yeah they do, it takes about 2+ days for them to cheer up automatically, but I think that depends on how sad they are.
Somehow I allowed one of the miis to date their cousins and I didn't realize until they broke up. I agree, highly needed for dumbasses like me

I LOVE the concept of multiple save files. That way I can have an island for each fandom or just one big one if i so choose!
If Animal Crossing didn't get that, you can bet Tomodachi won't have it either. Nintendo being Nintendumb.
My friend married her brother and they have 2 kids...
just set them both as "Relatives" ;-;
@@lilydewit2164 why did you let them get married 😭😭
In the game if you put in you have a sibling and a parent for two different miis, those mins won't be registered as related so my brother and my mom could get together 😥
It would be great if characters could buy their own clothes in the game. It would funny to see what kind of clothes they think are nice.
and it can be determined by their personality and favorite color
12:25 "Hilarious"??? It was HEART-BREAKING 😭😭😭
If there is a park or carnival-
Park: Some mii's may ask to play hide and seek.
YOUR MIND
The park minigame reminds me of that point and click minigame from Wii Play
Yeah and about the family, it would be cool if married Mii’s could have multizigot babies for example twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets, etc. The more babies, the rarer the condition. And another cool option for Mii customization would be giving them rare genetic/skin conditions like albinism, vitiligo, heterochromia, etc. And also and option to limit the amount of babes per couple cuz some players have had couples with like 20+ babies lol
theres already a frisbee toss game in the original, but i love the ideas!
Honestly i'd be good with jst the option to be gay bisexual aroace ect
This is pretty much what I exactly want in a Tomodachi Life 2, and then some.
Glad to know there’s more out there that want this as much as I do!
You said It
Going off your idea on Mii’s being assigned and unlocking jobs, I had the idea of skills.
I really want interactive rooms like DONT JUST WALK AROUND USE RHE FURNITURE I GIVE YOU
And also more control on styling outfits, I like that too.
no that's not happening
especially the non-binary ( because it makes no sense) and the same-sex
Bro it’s Tomodachi Life not Tomodachi Woke

Something I think would be great to add in a Tomodachi Life sequel would be making it so the mii's could interact with the furniture and things in their apartment!

Oo I love the hospital idea!!
i never knew how much i actually want a hospital feature omfg. pitch this to nintendo

It should get really silly with it, b/c what is Tomodachi Life if not silly and extra? also pet clothes is SUCH A GOOD IDEA I love it so much
- Customization options for the fountain that buff certain events.
I hate Catch so much and I want to feed my Miis moldy bread when they make me play it. either that or let me fling them around a little (to be clear we should keep Catch because it sucks and that's hilarious)
- more ideas about sexuality/gender: gender is going to be really hard to program in a way that can please everyone; imo the best option is to add a "nonbinary" gender that starts with its pronouns as they automatically. there should be an "Advanced Customization" option where you can choose a bunch of other stuff for your mii, things like walking speed (now unrelated to personality!), and also customize their pronouns. this way, nonbinary people aren't stuck with our miis being male/female but using our pronouns, and people can customize pronouns! it's not perfect but it's a step forwards (and holy shit if we don't need a step forwards) if nonbinary people are added, then have the dropdown menu say "this Mii will date/marry...." with options for girls, boys, and nonbinary people. you can check off whoever you want your Mii to be attracted to, and you can also check off none of them if you want your Mii to be aro/ace.

I think that remove the nervous part of help with the married proposal (like in tomodachi collection) would be so great because you don't have to afraid if your miis will become married at the end or separated in a few days.
The babies could be care in more ways, like asigned their own clothes (like in the photoshoot) and give them porridge or food depending of their age in the house, and give them toys (like the objects) and we could see them play with the things that we gave them

Yes i miss the stylus on the switch lol

All I need is a Tomodachi Life sequel, or even a port, and then I can die happily
Here are my suggestions:
1. Disabilities, such as wheelchairs.
2. Nationalities, and you could give a Mii an accent depending on their nationality.

Love this concept, I wish they would make a Tomodachi Life 2 so bad.
I swear nintendo has to hire this guy for ideas instead of their current employees
NINTENDO PLEASE. You've already discontinued the 3ds, discontinued the eShop, PLEASE, just PLEASE, continue Tomodachi Life!
i had so much fun playing tomodachi life as a kid, and deeply hope a sequel is in development. if i could request any video game to be made by any company, tomodachi life 2 would be my choice, which is saying a lot!
Also i would add the possibility of having disabled characters (like with protheses or wheelchairs…)

I freaking loved this game when I was a kid. I used to make the Miis say crazy stuff and end up laughing on the floor.
As from someone who played Tomodachi life as a kid, the idea of a Tomodachi life 2 makes me so god damn happy
This NEEDS to happen. All of these ideas would not only put a smile on the old Tomodachi Life players but also give an increible experience to those who have never played a single game of the series.
Some other minor improvements i can think of are:
*If two miis end up married, you can chose if they have a kid of their own, or adopt a new one. (In the case of same-sex married Miis, they'd only have the option to adopt).
With the Adopt option, you'd be led straight to the Mii Character Creator Screen, giving you, the player, the full characterization of the baby Mii.
With the have a child of their own option, there would come the next point:
*A better child generator.
It's not real it's just his imagination but he's Imaging it it's not real Nintendo never made this
@@jasmineangeletti4959 I’m just sayin I love the concept, that’s all
Tomodachi Life is like if you’re playing with Barbie dolls, and you’re trying to get Barbie to hook up with Ken, but then she comes to life, slaps your hand, goes to the kitchen to make an omelette, then immediately almost burns her house down
I think that’s The Sims.
@@TheDarkVoxel Yeah. Love the Sims and their chaos. Tho I hate when they ignore when they ignore the interactions you set up for them.
That’s a weird correlation
im only five mintues in but the thought of miis having jobs kills me because one day you are going to visit a mii who, in the grating low pitch squeaky voice is going to say "i hate my job."
Something even cooler they could do with the island screen is make it so you get a sort of spectator mode that you can move around the island as you please, and sometimes you can see your miis going from place to place.
Such a memorable game from my childhood. Can’t wait for the possibility it comes back!
Childhood? It's only been 8 years (9 in Japan) since the game launched.
The idea of pronouns for miis is great! It makes me so excited just thinking about it
yeah I'd finally be able to have my non binary miis actually be able to be referred to as NON BINARY
yeah!!!!!!!!! it's so so nice to see people talk about that as an option they'd want
he she they it
bread eggs milk squick
I'd love for it to happen but I don't think they would never do it because of the kids and people who still don't feel right the whole "not a man or a woman" thing- I hope any app could let the player decide their pronouns/gender expression. :(
That would be cool but I don't think Nintendo will be doing that
(Warning : it’s a lot of suggestions so expect this comment to be super long!)
Totally agree!
And based off of the religion, if the religion chosen for the Mii has a restricted dress code, tradition or other things, there can be a toggle off/on button for if the clothing shop should have clothes respecting the dress code, food should have the respectful (for example halal food and other), traditions and other things should be displayed or activated in game (for example we can choose if a Muslim Mii has to wear a hijab and/or do their traditions at their home or not)
Also, teenage Mii’s who date won’t want to propose until they’re 18, and they won’t necessarily get married right away, they can be fiancé/fiancées!
On the concert hall, we have more song options like Jazz, EDM, Lofi, Trap, RnB, Country, Classical (kinda goes with opera), KiddieBop, and we can choose if they have lyrics or not, if not, it can be a dance performance or a kind of beat minigame where we can use the +Control pads or ABXY buttons. and Enka, which is a traditional song hence why it was only available in Japan, can be unlocked along other regional types of music like Reggae, Bossa Nova, Compa and lots of others, if a Mii you add on your island is a nationality of the music since we can choose their nationality too when customizing (I hope this doesn’t sound racist)
Mii’s can tell us if they want a partner or not (aka come out, but it’s all I can say due to my religious restrictions)
And lastly, we can choose if a Mii is related to ourselves or other mii’s on the island, so that we avoid the Mii’s you made of siblings from one of your favorite shows fall in love like it happened with me on my island, except I know better so I chose bad match lol.

I’d remove the cussing to preserve age rating, but all the other stuff sounds good!
I think it’d be a nice thing to be able to set up who dates who, because the random crush thing was cute and so fun to see the pink heart at their apartment, but having no voice in the matter could be annoying at times (like when my mom’s mii dated a TV character-)
i'd love see the concert hall expanded upon, even just allowing us to have more control over how they sing certain lines lol
I love watching these, but then I get sad after I remember they don’t exist yet. I’d love to see this be a real game.
I think it could lead to some very interesting scenarios.
i'd like that if you make a new character, you can say if they're related to another mii already on the island, so they don't end up dating their own relative...
auto save should absolutely not be a thing, the usefulness of manual save helped me save countless relationships/get together so many people
This is awesome! All of these ideas would make the perfect game. We really need this :)
I hope all these concepts you mentioned will actually be in tomodachi 2, i hope you become a game developer one day bro
Those are some great ideas, and here is what I have to say about it:
2. I totaly agree about the mii customisation from Miitopia being added to Tomodachi life 2
9. Autosaving would be a lifesaver
10. You shoud be able to create multiple save files (with a limit of course).
11. Outfits should be more editable with shirts, pants, skirts, full body outfits ect. instead of just full body outfits.
Wow I wrote so much-
It’s a kid targeted audience
You shouldn’t have the different gender options whatever its confusing and weird if some 5yr old asks their mom what they/them
Just like what happened to miitopia where they were playing with the idea of same sex relationships the game got banned in Russia and Netherlands until the age rating was changed
