prior to putting them in the oven I put garlic, onion powder, salt, and a little cayenne pepper on them...to each his own..you can also make them sweet with honey or maple syrup...

There are many ways to change things up here. We like to roast them first to get the most crunch and to avoid burning the seasonings

@@TheMediterraneanDish I don't do 'crunchy' so I cook them at a lower temp. and they don''t burn..to each his own :) they do make lovely healthy snacks...also I cook my own garbanzo (chick peas) then cool them, freezer bag them and put them in the freezer for quick use..it is handy...

@@TheMediterraneanDish Say, what about hummus? Have you made your own? I bought the ingredients and true to my nature I have procrastinated way too long. The older I get...ugh! I adore hummus especially with garlic. You should see the bottle of roasted garlic I got for $6! I must freeze some of it Good Lord! I still have tahini and lemon but my chick peas are gone. Maybe you can show us that?😍🌺🍋

I have been making this for years 😊 I use the ones in the bag and let them soak in water for a day .. The next day I put olive oil on a big frying pan and cook it on there until they get golden brown and I season with a little salt.. That's all .. Really great snacks.. I will add some seasonings next time I make it again.. Thank U for the video ❤

I would love to try with those spices! A week or so ago, I was running low on food at the house and desperate. So I opened a can, poured out the liquid and then spread them on a cookie sheet. Nothing else. Popped them in at 450 for about 20 minutes. They came out darker, hard and crunchy. Delicious! They reminded my of Corn Nuts. I ate the whole can, have done it again and just got more.
