I like to believe these videos are caused by Dovahkiin either dying or can’t be bothered to finish the quests and is just fishing. So Azura tasks Nerevar to fix Skyrim all the while dealing with Dagoth somehow using the heart in his final moments to latch his soul onto Nerevar. Without the heart, Dagoth’s consciousness is docile and akin to his former self before he attained anti chim. Now a gloried Elder Scrolls Pokédex, his higher knowledge turning him into a Wikipedia
Shock is actually the stongest elemental magic, there is nobody in the game besides storm autronachs, who are innately resistant to shock spells and they are least common of all autronachs to appear as summons or mobs. Lightning Storm is by far the most op spell in the game especially if cast infinitely.
While I may not be a fan of the Dragon Priests and their loyalty to the Dovah, I must admit that their masks and the effects that they give the player was an intriguing part of my Skyrim adventure. Plus defeating these Nord mages reminds me of simpler times back during the First Era.
Thankfully, I mangaed to kill the dragon without waking Krosis up. Afterwards when Krosis did wake up, I used my Dragon Summon Shout, and Odaving arrived, just blasting Krosis with fire while I stayed out of Krosis's range and shot arrows. Took about 8 minutes.
I love the Dragon Priests as enemies. Having these LvL 50 mini bosses scattered across the world was great. Randomly encountering Krosis, Otar and Hevnoraak while underleveled on my first ever playthrough and bashing my head against a brick wall for hours on end and finally triumphing was such a nice feeling. And its fun to overlevel and crush them to feel like a badass. And the fact that most of them have lore imprtance, drop unique Masks with their names, staffs and eventually lead up to the Konahrik Mask. A unique quest that *isn't counted in your journal* and have to figure it out on your own. A real and powerfull reward for exploring. The Solstheim Dragon Priests are hit and miss. The big 4 you encounter randomly in the world are arguibly more powerfull, but most players are alredy high level by the time you encounter them. And Miraak, while always scaling to be above you in level, is unfortunately balanced to always be beatable at any point in the game with relatively low health and a pathetic repertoir of spells compared to the other Dragon Priests His Mask, Robes and Sword are pretty good rewards tho.
Ehm, sorry to correct you, Lord Dagoth, but Hevnoraak mask is bugged in vanilla Skyrim - diseases and poisons can occasionaly slip past the enchantment, especially on those ancient nordic traps and skeevers and wolves bite. 😢
The dragon priests would have been such cooler boss fights if they descended down upon you from an uncertain spawn point, kinda like dragons. They have to slowly rise from their graves which are designed like a welcome mat in front of word walls. And if you've spent any time smithing, that means you can one-shot them while they nosforatu. Shhh, only dreams annoying but good-loot figure. I hope this comment is acceptable and pleasing to the 6th House and the Tribe Unmourned 🙇🏻♀️
I wish they had some Spellswords and shout variety like Mirrak. Imagine them using Slow Time or Become Ehereal or having an Enchanted Ebony Mace with the skill to ignore armor.

i'd love to see dagoth do an afterlife tier list, either between races specific afterlifes or daedric afterlife's. the hunting grounds and sanguine's myriad realms of revelry seem pretty chill for daedric princes.
Lord Dagoth, concerning Seekers, I suggest sending an immediate Cease and Desist to Apocrypha. A swift legal action should be effective towards Hermaeus Mora, and protect the likeness of your Ascended Sleepers. That tentacled nerd won't see it coming. This is what you get when you plagiarise Lord Dagoth's own work. This is what you get when you don't honor the 6th House and the Tribe Unmourned.
But what if Mora counter-sues? His realm lies outside of time and can get IP protection before Lord Dagoth at any time. Truly Lord Dagoth is wise for avoiding such a trap.
Right? You are so used to them getting out of coffins that him getting out of the water is pretty neat. Wish they did this more. I also would have liked to talk to some of them. We know they can do that.
I honestly find shock spells the most terrifying especially on legendary difficulty. The ai of the mages being surprisingly good plus the instantaneous velocity of the spell makes every lightning spell cast feel like a sniper rifle to the head.

One of the easier ways to fight for Krosis is coming for him before 'Dragon Rising' quest is activated. That way, the cell "only" spawn 3 necromancers. That makes easier for stealth archer.
@@sidecharacter7165 Very good except against falmer, draugr, nords, vampires, nord vampires, dwemer automatons, and any enemy with "frost", "ice" or "snow" in their name, since all of them have frost resistance. So about 75% of the enemies you fight in Skyrim.
meanwhile, Bretons with 65% to 85% magic resistance unenchanted are laughing, due to how the Dragon Priests are a joke, compared to them Dragon Priests do give me a run for my money, when it comes to my Divine Crusader builds, since I use either a Nord or Imperial (normally an Imperial) for Divine Crusader builds
Another good idea is to meditate on the word Fus. Cuts back on getting hit with disarming or two word unrelenting force shouts. Also the Atronoch stone plus alteration perk for added layer of protection.
i will not lie here upon this commentary parchment, i engage Skyrim with modifications to Bound Weapons, among other things. adding more weapons and making the damage of them scale with unspent magicka as well as altering skill tree perks to make such magical armaments far more pleasing to use even amidst the endgame and comparable to enchanted equipment of the same scaling. truly, this is how the bound weapons should behave without mods. as a spellblade Argonian(specifically a shield in the offhand and a bound war axe in the right), Morokei's mask is tremendously useful when paired with the Archmage's robes, especially with the previously mentioned modifications to bound weapons. lightweight equipment makes power attacks cost less, you have plenty of magicka for healing or destructive spells at a moment's notice, and the cost reduction to all schools of magic make any mystic build a breeze.
This is surprisingly character. growth before dagoth just saw Nords as savages unable to even cast basic spells but now, he reviews the dragon priest all fairly and with respect not even adding a burn of if they were dunmer hey probably be better just full blown respect and understanding for their power and lore. I was never a big user of the masks outside of Krosis and Volsung (although it's more of a alternative to the Masque of Clavicus if I need the carry weight). I wear Otar with daedric boots of grounding, a daedric shield of firewalker, and a necklace of warmth. That makes me one hundred percent resistant to any fire, lightning, or frost damage.
There was a mod to modify the looks of them into completely different stuff I remember one was a straight up owl mask. Unfortunately I don't think it got carried over through legendary->special->anniversary editions Thanks bethesda
Personally, never actually got to "fight" nahkriin. Since he has to grab his staff first i usually end up arrowing him to death before he gets into fighting mode. If i'm a melee i honestly have once just run past him

While they indeed grant useful boons to the Dragonborn, they are born from the misuse of the Heart, and thus are no better than the Dragon priests masks. Clearly they gave no thought for the Sixth House nor the Tribe Unmourned.
Practicality is meaningless in this case. You want to wear a priest mask? Rock Konahrik: Distinct, golden, tusked, and the dark hood gives an air of regality.
The only dragon priest I had problems with was nakrin, he forced me to use 2 ultimate healing potions, edit: I had 30 of em but evn then man's had tht deeps

I need to claim all these masks. none of these loosers are worthy of them. Shock magic is the best magic in Skyrim. Frost Magic sucks because most of Skyrim is resistant to it. Fire magic is slow, and requires aiming. It is especially annoying on Dragons because you have to account for a fireballs travel time when aiming. Shock magic is a hitscan, practically nothing in the game resists it, and most spells barely have much difference in damage. The ''stamina reduction'' of frost spells sucks because the only difference between 1 and 0 stamina is that you can do a power attack. Fire spells ''dot'' effect doesn't do crap for damage at all, only useful as a gimmick on trolls when you're not strong enough to obliterate them. Shock magic's drain effect is useless as well, as most enemies in the game will be dead before you can lower their magica to a point of not being able to cast anything, and Bethesda supercharges npc's stamina and mana pools where it's almost impossible to put them in a state they can't use magic anyway. Conversely, Shock magic is at it's most dangerous when used by enemies. Fireballs can be dodged, Nords are the prime character type in Skyrim so there's a good chance you are resisting 50% of it since a lot of players use nords. Shock magic however takes away the NPC's need to ''aim'' at you, and while enemies losing magicka isn't a big deal, YOU losing magicka to Shock Damage can actually be an issue.
Would've been nice is the did something with the Dragonborn DLC masks. Maybe if you gain all of the masks, you go to Apographa after beating Miraak and unlock something even stronger

Would've been nice is the did something with the Dragonborn DLC masks. Maybe if you gain all of the masks, you go to Apographa after beating Miraak and unlock something even stronger
You're basically the happy mask salesman after this quest is done. Just throw in a corrupted forest kid and the game is Majora's mask.
