Me too, amazing rest & relaxation in front of a comfortable fire, reminds me of cabin kept me safe during snowstorm in Montana - this vid never fails to put me straight to sleep :-)
I have put this on every night for the past few days to read a book and fall asleep to. It has been the perfect compliment to my evening relaxation time with my dogs and cat and quiet. Just wonderful!!
I actually lost my dog a couple weeks ago. I rescued a cat in Dec. So now it's me and my cats and my dog. ( *sad and happy face all at the same time* ) I'm in Louisiana.
Oh. When I posted that originally 4 months ago, I had two dogs and one cat. In December I rescued a cat so I had two cats and two dogs. Then my oldest, 13yo dog, passed away on Feb 4th. It left me with cats and a dog...life story over. =)
She was abandoned by her previous owners, but she would keep coming back to the same door and meow everyday to be let in. It was December by then, our first day of freezing temps was upon us and I saw her sitting there for quite some time meowing. I lured her with food and slipped a leash around her neck to bring her inside. I put her in a kennel to be safe and to get used to the other animals. I put her story and pic on Facebook hoping someone could take her, but they could not. After awhile, she just started following me around and sitting with me and eventually, she became mine, thru weeks of building trust together. I just couldn't betray that trust for her again by giving her away.
There’s a lot of good ambience vids on youtube, but literally nothing else beats this video, even ones similar with wind and a fireplace. This one gets it just right, where you feel warm and sheltered. I try to fall asleep to other ones but always stop after 5 minutes and play this one haha please never get rid of this
Agreed! Most other fireplace videos either have 'off' sounding crackling that isnt relaxing, or cheap wind sounds tacked on top that breaks the immersion. This one is perfect, I even forget it is on while reading and my brain assumes a fireplace is actually lit at my feet.
One of the better sleep aid vids. This one isn't just a 10 second sound loop. The seemingly random creeks of wood and gusts of wind improve the effect.

Okay, this looks ridiculously close to my ex-boyfriend's Civil War era cabin he lived in. Like almost exactly. That cabin was used in a movie too lol. Beautiful, just absolutely warm, old, wabi, perfect. And this is the fireplace sound I've been looking for: soft, slowed, smoothed, full, simple... not popping loud in your face like a bunch of kids hitting caps! There's only one other fireplace sound I also like. Yours is superb! Ideal. The idea of the way-place for weary travelers is one of my favorite settings & concepts! (I guess they don't even make or allow caps for toy guns anymore? They had actual gunpowder in them. Much more fun to hit with rocks, they were! Lol!) I've been sleeping to this sound almost every night, all night. Best sleep I've ever had.
The Guild of Ambience Ha ha! Yes enjoying this hugely. It's snowing outside right now, so this is my perfect relax & sleep sound. It's eliminating stress in me immediately. So glad you remember caps!! Lol! Blessings, abundance & profound peace in all that you do.

Death Lol I hear ya. I know lots of people with lasting relationships but I hear it's hard work. Too much for me, I have more important things in life to spend my energies on! 😃 All peace & wholeness to you!
I love this so much because it brings my mind and my soul to a place so dear to me. It is the old countryside property located in a timeless village on the banks of river Po in Northern Italy. There was an iron cast stove in which my grandparents used to put some logs in to warm up the living/ dining room on rainy early autumn days. This sound brings me exactly over there, I can see my inner child peacefully sitting on an armchair and relaxing to the sound of wood burning in the stove and the rain falling on the windows.
So many comments saying how peaceful this video is (and it *is* peaceful to listen to, don't get me wrong!). It says a shit-ton about how waaay too many of us are stressed out, need vacations, or just basically need the world to stop turning for just a damned minute so we can take a freakin' breather from the insanity of modern life. Ironic that many people are finding this respite on a medium that sometimes contributes to the "noise," as it were. (Just sayin' what's on a lot of peeps' minds, I think. :P)
I am in love with this scene. I have literally sat and stared, and imagined my serene and content life within, filled with books, caste iron, and and peace. This one has always been my favorite of the guild's and has helped me through some difficult times when i just need to escape to another world. Thank you so much, guild!
There's something about the sound of fireplace and weather sound that just makes me feel content about sitting still and study/work/read/draw/design/do-some-tough-brain-work/etc ... my biggest worry is listening to this too many times and having my brain pick up on the repetitiveness, then the magic will be gone! So now I have to carefully ration this one with some other ambience track, but good ones are so hard to find! They often are _too_ noisy!
This is the most comforting, spiritually grounding and calming production anywhere to be found! The sounds are so natural. This is an exquisite work of art! I listen to it often especially when I want to disengage from the noisy maddening world. It's like going on a private retreat. Thank you!
Briseur De Lance Very slightly warm, ideally? Makes for full flavors. I doubt there's any Celtic/UK drink designed to be drank cold? Vodka is designed to be ice cold, cuz it came from frozen country? But all other European beverages are supposed to be warm or hot?
I've been listening this while I study OChem and Cell Bio. I have to say that I'm pretty sure I have more concentration while I study and I feel more relaxed. The cracking of the wood, the sound of the flame, and the wind hitting the cabin all combine to set such a relaxing ambiance.
For you all who have found peace and serenity next to this fire in this cozy lodge throughout these past few years, I quite simply say to you all, “Hello, dear friends”. Let’s all share this space knowing we are all just weary travelers on life’s road looking to recollect ourselves amidst the chaos. Stay warm, everyone. Cheers!

I’m using this to put my son and I both to sleep! Our TVs connected to UA-cam is great-no need for a night light with this either! Perfect cuddling and reading with hot tea!
I don't know why I never discovered this until now, but I love that this is a thing. Great to put in some instrumental Celtic folk music or fantasy game soundtracks on low volume and have this in the background while I work.
Wow just found this one . I love the mood and ambience here . It looks like a homestead in the early American west to me . Something you would see in a Hollywood western . The timber , the stone work , the furnishings and colours of the room . Its all there . Nice job thank you .
Finally! I have found a video that has wind!! It seems most people enjoy ocean sounds and that's all i could find for a long time. The ocean terrifies me so, of course, that doesn't work. Wind has always been my favorite element and this cabin is soooo cozy with that fire crackling. THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making this!! I love it!!!!!
This is so amazing. I was listening to it to evaluate weather or not it would help me sleep and realized the fire was really burning and the candles flicker. I thought it was just a picture. This is perfect for falling asleep and I can watch the fire. Thank you for this upload.
Definitely my first thought was Skyrim and I've never even played it 😜 but I've played a lot of Oblivion, and it's always cool to sit by a fire reading lore along with the sort of harp-ish music
I wish I could have this as my screen saver for my phone this is so realistic compared to the crap at the google store. who ever creates all of these should do that also you would make so much money from those of us that need this to sleep. thank u for posting this.
It’s in the 20’s tonight. I’m going to grab some shut eye and listen to the crackle of the 🔥. Good size snow storm outside. I have the dogs and cats with me. Some family hanging out in the other room. Thanks for stopping by.
Love ALL of the awesome sounds … only 🤔… that fire is just a kitten right now🫤 It needs to be added to and stoked to get it BLAZING on this freezing cold night 🔥🔥!
The wind and rain whips at a young man and woman as they rush to the door of a old yet beautifully constructed cabin. The sign above the thick pinewood door may be faded but still proudly proclaims "Adventurers and Travelers Welcome!" a comforting sight for the pair of nomads as they walk through the threshold of the cabin. "gods. Is this storm ever gonna lift?" says the young woman as she closes the door behind her. "I doubt it's gonna lift any time soon Sam, we might as well make ourselves comfortable... I get the feeling we're gonna be here a while." The young man says while hanging up his drenched over coat. "I was hoping to be in graycott by the end of the week John." Sam says to her companion, with a hint of annoyance in her soft yet commanding voice. "well that obviously isn't happening, you go ahead and see if there's any food around here. I'll get a fire going." Johnathan quickly gathers kindling and begins building a fire while Samantha rummages through the pantry. To her surprise the kitchen is well stocked and she reckons there's enough food here to last three weeks on a diet of three meals a day... The two of them worked quickly and in just a few short hours they have made themselves at home. With full stomachs and the fire burning bright the two get comfortable and listen to the sounds of storm and fire...
There's a dog next door that won't stop barking, it's literally been barking non-stop for hours and listening to your videos is the only thing keeping me sane right now
it's my dream, to have a house in mountains or forest and when it snows and windy just to start a fireplace, tak a good book and sit in comfy chair next to fire with a bottle of cognac )))
using this to try and relax and try meditation. around the 5 minute mark, heard the creaking floor boards, and started cautiously looking around, then remembered this is a vid and was expecting a jumpscare
I find these noises to help calm the brain and it enables me to do some proper thinking. I have this on in the background when doing maths, writing, planning etc. Thank you for this.
When I have a full day at home where I need to write and be focused, I not only play this but also leave the curtains down, I light candles around and switch lamps. It is perfect!
Bloody awesome. I love the imagery and the winter howling. Love it to bits. I would love to be there.......makes you feel alive and live is worth living.
It's funny, I live in a very rural area, have a wood stove, no natural gas, very little electricity. People seem to think this lifestyle is just reading and sitting by a fire. I love my life but when I look at this all I see is a fire that's dying, no wood that has been brought in and snow outside. It's a great life but not restful
Ever since I discovered it, I often come to this mountain lodge to get warm :)

Thank you!
This makes me feel so snug and cosy... lovely work
There is the beautiful 'Franklin Fire Place'. Best source of radiating heat.
That cup of coffee/tea never seem to get cold.
ARRAV
Magic?
It's mead perhaps?
David C
Is mead drank warm?
I didn't know.
Briseur De Lance Very slightly warm, ideally? Makes for full flavors. I doubt there's any Celtic/UK drink designed to be drank cold?
Vodka is designed to be ice cold, cuz it came from frozen country? But all other European beverages are supposed to be warm or hot?
It's actually pure acid.
I fell in love with your rustic cabin...can I stay here!? 🎃🧙🧹🍂🍁🍃
I really like fire place sounds but a lot of the videos has the fire too loud. This is just right. Nice soft fire. Thank you. I love your video!
You know you're playing a truly great immersive game when something as simple as sitting in front of a fireplace is enjoyable.

Very Far Far away in a beautiful mountain ^^
I've been here the whole time
@@MrDevil-pk9ur that's the country from the movies right?
I've been listening this while I study OChem and Cell Bio. I have to say that I'm pretty sure I have more concentration while I study and I feel more relaxed. The cracking of the wood, the sound of the flame, and the wind hitting the cabin all combine to set such a relaxing ambiance.
That picture alone is worth a thumbs up. The music is the added bonus.
Cheers!
I am a retired Broadcaster/Producer/Sound Engineer and I must stop my journey and commend you and your team for this work you have gifted us with. Upon stumbling across this video, I checked out others which you have produced. I guess the only way to give you the degree of compliment is to say, "If I still had my successful company still, I would not hesitate to bring you on board. I am pickier that shit and this one is superb. Well done and thank you for what you do and especially for your sharing of this gift.
Wishing you and your team, much Peace, Light, & Love. Namaste; Murray
Hope you're enjoying your retirement. Especially with the aid of such videos as these!
Thank you so much for this. It's strangely giving me so much deep peace. I save it on my bookmarks, to come here when I need peace.
I’m using this to put my son and I both to sleep! Our TVs connected to UA-cam is great-no need for a night light with this either! Perfect cuddling and reading with hot tea!
No matter how hard had been the day... I always find peace and tranquility in this nowhere mountains
am i the only one that found it in 2021 (its thanksgiving now lol) i love this so much i will be watching this all the time
1:35:25 has to be the best part of the video
Yeah
Why?
Love that part!
@HypeMyke Ikr, I heard it and was about to comment about it until I saw you already had lol
Dude! Spoilers!
You should do cafe ambience! It would be cook to hear coffee getting made
They say winter is coming.
Should of told me that sooner...
Johnny Pastrana apparently Genghis Khan didn't receive your warning and didn't need it either
Aaaaaaaah! Yessh
They say Global warming is coming,
thats why i miss rain and snow, more and more every passing year ...
Unless your in RWBY, then Winter is cumming!😀 I'll go sit in the corner. 😞
I take an ice plunge for 5 minutes early every morning, and then I rush inside to warm up in this mountain lodge, fire blazing. Absolute magic...
Perfect fire sounds,an all around masterpiece of relaxation.
I don't know why I never discovered this until now, but I love that this is a thing. Great to put in some instrumental Celtic folk music or fantasy game soundtracks on low volume and have this in the background while I work.
I'm listening to this while having a poo. It's definitely helping. Thank you. Subscribed.

Wow just found this one . I love the mood and ambience here . It looks like a homestead in the early American west to me . Something you would see in a Hollywood western . The timber , the stone work , the furnishings and colours of the room . Its all there .
Nice job thank you .
oh my god it sounds so warm and compfy!
Ian Knau kampfy*
Adolf Hitler lol you're a genius.
Cumpie
ooooh yummy! : 3
just need a pie to complete the ambience
I cannot understand why 912 people down voted this! It's great!
This IS the warm cozy home that one makes in Skyrim. I love this one SOOOO much. Peaceful and home like in the way of the old days untold
i want a room like this
^^ i can make arrangements XD
I've been staring at this video for about 30 minutes.... so relaxed rite now
I wish I could have this as my screen saver for my phone this is so realistic compared to the crap at the google store. who ever creates all of these should do that also you would make so much money from those of us that need this to sleep. thank u for posting this.
To top it all off the sound of creaky floorboards! Wow ASMR at its finest. Thank you so much!!
IT'S INSANE how much hard work you put into creating these... 🔥🔥
It’s in the 20’s tonight. I’m going to grab some shut eye and listen to the crackle of the 🔥. Good size snow storm outside. I have the dogs and cats with me. Some family hanging out in the other room. Thanks for stopping by.
Love ALL of the awesome sounds … only 🤔… that fire is just a kitten right now🫤
It needs to be added to and stoked to get it BLAZING on this freezing cold night 🔥🔥!
I love this sound so much, and the ambiant creaking accompanies it nicely!
I'm in a cold library studying, but I feel like I'm studying in a warm cosy shack.
This audio is awesomely awesome for studying!
I get the feeling we're gonna be here a while."
The young man says while hanging up his drenched over coat.
"I was hoping to be in graycott by the end of the week John."
Sam says to her companion, with a hint of annoyance in her soft yet commanding voice.
"well that obviously isn't happening, you go ahead and see if there's any food around here. I'll get a fire going."
Johnathan quickly gathers kindling and begins building a fire while Samantha rummages through the pantry.
Just wrote a paper listening to this last night, now I'm going to relax and unwind with this (or the waterfall one) in the background tonight :D
Oh to be there without a care! That is heaven! Nothing else needed! (except maybe a garden for food)
There's a dog next door that won't stop barking, it's literally been barking non-stop for hours and listening to your videos is the only thing keeping me sane right now
Lupercal get off your ass and get outside and bark at the dog.
I am warm enough now, thanks for the tea buddy :)
Thank you for this video. It helped my baby fall asleep on many occasions. (And when I needed it the most!)
This is like Howl's Moving Castle! Wonderful!
These videos are the perfect backdrop for when I'm reading a book while having a good cup of tea. Thank you for creating all of them.
it's my dream, to have a house in mountains or forest and when it snows and windy just to start a fireplace, tak a good book and sit in comfy chair next to fire with a bottle of cognac )))
probably a good place for sleeping :) actually, it is scientifically proven that living in the mountains promotes good sleep.
Frozen Warpcore I want a furry kitty 🐱
I need this with VR, would go perfect with a nice cup of green tea just absorbing myself into the moment. Well done!
using this to try and relax and try meditation. around the 5 minute mark, heard the creaking floor boards, and started cautiously looking around, then remembered this is a vid and was expecting a jumpscare
I find these noises to help calm the brain and it enables me to do some proper thinking. I have this on in the background when doing maths, writing, planning etc.
Thank you for this.
Ambiance abounds... This is perfect... Thank you
Ahh.. Just imagining being deep in the woods, ducked off in this little cabin.. Peace & tranquility! 😊😴
Any one still here in 2024? Say hi~ Hi~
Hi
When I have a full day at home where I need to write and be focused, I not only play this but also leave the curtains down, I light candles around and switch lamps. It is perfect!
I wish my mind sounded like this naturally.
Love the sounds of the crackling fire and howling wind! I enjoy it while I’m reading or doing a crossword puzzle!
(SPOILER) - It turns out there's nobody home. I just saved you a couple of hours there.
I think it's one of those French films where nothing happens.
I see dead people
Spoilers! Just after the end of the video, the house burns down as that is a lot of fire for nobody to be in there.
"it turns out"
The owner used to be an adventurer, now he just stays on his feet all day as a guard in town on his supposedly arrow-injured knee.
Bloody awesome. I love the imagery and the winter howling. Love it to bits. I would love to be there.......makes you feel alive and live is worth living.
Reminds me of when I'm chilling inside the cabin in The Long Dark.
exactly!
your videos are the only ones I've found that don't have a static-y sound. Love it.
