Many years ago my bruddahs, I was fishing in Hilo bay with a huge squid bait, just chilling with a cold one and enjoying the moment. Once I was setup, A bunch of Asian tourists wanted to observe. Not long after something hammered my ika and broke my pole at the same time. Guessing it was hammerhead or monsta ulua.
Whoa! Garrantee had been one of the two. I've heard stories of someone hooking a hundred pounder at the wall only to lose it in the rocks.
