Those chords were sweet! I remember reading somewhere about the SampleTrak being 18-bit instead of 16-bit. Either way, its sound is something special. I'll make sure to try out those samples and pay 😊
Why would you use MPC Beats/Software if you don't own an MPC? For a full production suite/DAW, it's basically rubbish and way too limited compared to proper DAWs like Ableton Live. Of which its cheapest Lite version (still superior to MPC Beats) comes for free with the cheapest MIDI controllers out there or its Suite version can be fully trialled for free for a whopping 3 months.
I didn't want a full production suite in the first place. I just wanted something that I can use to make and play multisampled instruments. I've also got a 7 year old computer that's got about 4 GBs of RAM. The MPC software runs loads very fast and runs a lot lighter than Ableton or FL does on my computer. So it's a better fit for me.
glad to see a new video from you 👊🏼
Yeah, it's been a minute.
Cool trick Doug!

Thanks! I appreciate that. And you're right. The A/D and D/A is 18 bit not 16 bit.
Good video Doug!
Thanks, man!

MPC beats has some great features that Ableton does not have, such as auto-sample and multi-sample editing.
