Much appreciated Eduardo. I already tried to thank her for her service but she said “too soon, I’m not an Airman yet.” 😂 I’ll definitely tell her you said it when I attend her graduation soon.
Yeah man that particular cat actually stalks my VW’s waiting for me to slip up. It never pooped in it before so that changes the game😂. I too (and my brother) have become obsessed with the 90 degree status. Since we’re being honest, I checked it on the Bus too when I made this vid. I just didn’t show it because I didn’t want anyone to know about my “problem” 😂. I almost wish I’d never learned about it!
I'm thankful for your daughter's service, but sad for your sake. I'm a dad of 2 grown young ladies, and one left to move out of state, and the other is taking her time growing up lol. I get it totally, what you said about being sad!!! God bless and keep you and your daughter.
Thanks buddy. I knew this day would come. I am proud, and glad that’s she being productive. She’s my lil Vdub buddy so it’s still weird cruising without her. Thanks for blessing and same to you and your girls.
Mink feels your pain. When your little princess goes and does an adult thing it’s a mixed bag of emotions, anger frustration pride worry joy. Just remind yourself that you were a contributing factor in her having the courage and confidence to do what she did. The update on jimmy was appreciated too
You said it perfectly…”mixed bag of emotions.” An update is that she got to call me, sounded well, and said “I’m doing good thanks to everything you taught me.” It took all of my man powers to not tear up!
Mike! Where you been dude. Glad to see you back! Hope all is well with your daughter and that she has much success. How is that distributor holding up? I’m thinking about buying some 1.1:1 ratio rockers but not sure if I have to cut custom push rods. Have you run ratio rockers before?
Thanks man. I’ve been moping around because I miss my daughter. However, she is about to graduate and I’ll see her soon so I’m stoked! The distributor is holding up buuuut it’s hard to say because it’s in the Bus, which I haven’t driven much lately. It never acted right in the Bug and I still don’t know why. I hope to pinpoint the discrepancy eventually. Yes I’ve ran 1.1 : 1 and was able to shim them into proper geometry. I see you’ve been charging hard on you dubs man…I love it. You stay both dubbin And drivin!
Since it was already lowered when I got it, I’m not 100 on how narrow it is. If I recall, I measured it a long time ago and compared it to a stock one, which showed it to be a 2” narrowed beam made by wagons west. It also has drop spindles. I have really low profile tires and they still come reeeeeeeally close to rubbing. If I’d have bought the beam I probably would’ve just gone 4”, and at the very least 3.” I have no complaints about the ride quality, which is pretty good considering it’s lowered. I have no experience with bags.
@@bomberobus nice. Great info. Yeah. I thought two inches at first and realized that would not help much so four inch narrowed beam is the way to go. I already have drop spindles but will go with adjustable beam in case I want to adjust in the future.
Well that Bus had the stance when I bought it. It’s on drop spindles with a Wagons West adjustable beam. I believe the beam is 2” narrowed. Before I knew any better, I noticed a bumpy-ish ride. After riding in others, I now know that is quite comfortable by comparison. I have zero experience with bags 🤷🏻♂️
Cool video man. The shop is looking good! Thanks for the birthday shout out. 👊
Hi Mike, Those cats are sneaky! The Dubs sound good. Please thank your daughter, for serving our country. 👍🇺🇸
Thanks! I’ll tell her you said that, but when I tried to thank her she said “too soon.” Haha. I’ll tell her at graduation though. Thanks again!
Nice to see you mike we missed you. I know it hurts to watch them grow up. Just trust you raised them right and be there when they need you.
Thanks for the wise words. I needed that.
Nice to see yah back Mike and the Dubs are sounding great. Thank your daughter for her service👍🇺🇸

Happy to see you.
Air force, that girl has a rock solid brain. That is awesome!!
Thanks friend. I can’t wait to attend her graduation soon!
Better keep those windows up, that cat will be back Mike. Ever since you posted the 90 degree video, honestly I've been a little obsessed about it.

Good to see you back, Mike. The VWs sound great. My grandson starts basic training for USAF in September.
Wishing you grandson well! I appreciate his willingness to serve 🇺🇸

Nice to see you, post a video. 90 degree club. 😎👍
Thanks Vipergreen. 5k miles on that build so I wonder how long I stay in the club.
@@bomberobus If the rings/valvetrain/fuel regulator, behave you'll be good for long time.
Yes sir. I’m constantly smelling the dipstick for fuel too. So far so good.
👍

Another question Mike. Does your bus have a narrowed beam? How did you lower it?

I have a 70 bus, what did you do to lower yours there's so many options 🤔🥴

Is that a rubber band on the little window? Lol
A bungee 😂
