Thanks for the video... helped me to successfully double up decals I created for a vintage '70s pinball machine playfield I'm restoring.
Once I learned the dbl layering method a while back, I use it all the time!
Double layer is the placement, doesn't matter where on the waterslide paper it is printed. There are 2 of them

I do them regularly on clear waterslides that aren't as dark as I'd like once applied.

Absolutely!! I totally just got what you were saying in your first comment 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ lol. Those clear waterslides can definitely be tricky in having the color come out how you hope once that white backing is pulled away.
Can you feel a big difference between the glitter/ epoxy area and the metal rim? Do you epoxy the rims once the waterslide is dry??
I don't epoxy the rims. I leave them metal unless requested otherwise by the customer.
So how do you double layer the decal? Not sure my printer would print in the exact same place.
Never mind I had the wrong idea in my head that you were printing twice.
Some folks do do it that way, but I don't trust my printer to be that precise either :-)

Why wouldn't you just use White Waterslide? Doubling the clear is a waste of clear Waterslide Paper.
Because it is completely opaque and would hide the glitter behind it. I prefer the glitter to show through
It would be the same amount of paper...clear or white. LOL
