The steamed bun is so perfect each time, coupled with the tartar sauce and texture of the pattie. I have asked them to use that steamed bun on a quarter pounder with cheese and it was pretty darn good. Changed the entire texture of that burger.

I do like McDonald's Filet-O-Fish. However, White Castle 🏰 has a boneless Alaskan cod with a light panko seasoning. The fish is flaky and crunchy, sitting on a nice slider bun. Great fish 🐟 slider! Delicious! 😋😋😋😋😋👌
As a BugerFi employee who likes fishing 🎣 and is taking a fisheries class, I could imagine how delicious fried fish fillet, particularly haddock, cod or even locally sourced species like Mahi-Mahi, Snapper, or even Snook in the case of South Florida in a our unique BFi setup with our specialty Fi sauce and buns. Or any of the same fried fillet species but with our all natural french fries 🍟 cut directly from REAL POTATOES GROWN IN IDAHO. BurgerFi is known for creating spanking new unique recipes. Our Rodeo Burger, Chicken wings, Yes Chef, and now Prime Rib Burger are greatest selling specialties. It definitely doesn't hurt for BurgerFi to try at all. It will literally keep our sales afloat (no pun intended.)

2 for $4 in 2010 2 for $5 in 2015 Mix n Match 2 for $6 2021. Not sure if NYC or McD's, but the only consistent part of these sandwiches is rising prices and that they are half the fish of BK or Wendy's. FiletOFish is tasty though
When I worked at McDonald’s as a cook in 1977-79 ,the food was amazing. Filet of fish was fried in oil ,that was fish only ,the buns were in a steamer .fell in love with the filet of fish ,and Big Mac always hot and juicy,now they both are dry and Luke warm at best !
Yeah I think it’s an amazing sandwich. I worked at McDo for 5 years. The Filet-O-Fish had it’s own fryer and bun steamer. Fun fact: we could put the styrofoam clamshell containers in the steamer and make “shrinky dinks”! We made keychains out of them. I wish I still had those.

Today I hit one that had been really good for fresh food-at the very start of lunch with lots of cars in the lot so should have been a slam dunk. Nope, fish brown, fries stale lukewarm and funky taste too. With as much as stuff costs anymore make some effort to time how far out you make food. Took a bite of fries and fish- then tossed in trash. At least the drink was ok.

You want a REAL burger, go to A&W. thicker paddy, better quality beef, simple condiments, and not too heavy on everything else. Pure bliss on a bun! My personal fave is the teen burger but hold the onions. They even make a “paleo” burger where it’s wrapped in lettuce leaves, it a little messy but DANG! Their burger is still so pure and flavourful.
My parents won't let me try burgers because this si the second time going out of our house from lockdown so I will just stick with the classic burger selections
In high school I worked at McDonalds and back then we were paid $1.25 per hour and we peeled the potatoes, no frozen, Plus we made our own tartar sauce each morning. However they still seem to taste the same after all these years. I wish I could say the same for the french fries and milk shakes. Closet I see now days are In-&-out burger fries. The In-&-out burgers are much like the old McDonald stands. Just being honest.

I buy Bimbo buns and steam them, take some tilapia bread and fry up, some tarter sauce, relish and real cheese. Delicious fish sandwich for about 1.00
