My camp blasts this song on our walkie-talkies to wake us up every year the first day of camp… I remember waking up to this song the first time at age 11… I’m 21 now and hear it every summer I love it
Not all camp complaints are exaggerated. In the 6th grade, I was signed up for my grade school to go to a WINTER camp. Even before we got there, we had to ride a bus that had no heat. It was so frigid that we had to stomp our feet to keep their circulation going. Once there, we found out that the girls' bunk house was the furthest from the activity building. Since it was winter, this meant that we had to take a long stroll on a walkway to it that was covered with slippery ice. In fact, I still have a map that I drew, which indicates where each patch of ice was so that I could dodge around them. Some of the camp activities were okay, such as arts and crafts. However, others involved walking on the forest trails. I recall those walks being so cold that icicles were hanging from my nose. Every night, it took a long time for me warm up in bed. The consequences of these harsh conditions was that the entire 6th grade got sick just before we went back to school. Then our illness hit the 5th graders, the 4th graders, and all the others on down. Ironically, they didn't even go on our miserable trip, but they suffered the consequences of it just the same. Compared to this, Camp Grenada almost sounds like a paradise.
Well from what his son wrote to him. I doubt this happened literally but it isn't unheard of for some kids to exaggerate how summer camp is to try to make their parents come pick them back up.
MK Ultra. It absolutely hypnotized us all. Every single one of us. I came back here in search of this. I was born in the very early 1970's. This is MK Ultra. Think about it for a minute or two. Give it 120 seconds and think about what this song did to your brain.
Knowing Jeff Hardy, he's probably passed out somewhere high about now, might as well call off the search party lol (only professional wrestling fans will get this, but i had to make the joke regardless)
“Marge, is Lisa in Camp Granada?”
Thank god for inside edition for showing me this
That’s how I found it to lol
