    Good morning everyone! Today I'm bringing you another episode of all new home hacks! Some work amazing, some not so much lol! Let me know down below which is your favorite?

      Loved all these. My favorite was the longer screws bc I've heard the rest. It makes so much sense to put in longer screws bc robbers want to get in as quick as possible. Great content Ashley 💜💙💚💛🧡

      The only useful hack was the longer screws. These are old hacks. I’ve noticed the quality of some of your videos is going down. You need to stop using the hair smoother it makes your hair look greasy.

    I seen a hack for purging clothes in your closet. At the beginning have all your hooks of your hangers facing the same direction. As you wear clothes and put them back in your closet, hang the hook of the hanger in the opposite direction. At the end of the season, the hangers that are still facing the original direction are the ones you obviously don’t wear anymore and it’s time to purge!

    You have to check out the blades of the fan. They aren’t parallel to the floor. “Higher” side should go “first” when spinning so grabs high air and moves it down at you (summer) , versus the lower side going first is taking the air above it and moving it (winter since heat rises). I have fans that are built the opposite direction so the clockwise/counter clockwise does the opposite effect on mine.

    • @annamcgee7434
      @annamcgee7434 2 роки тому +5

      Sorry. Ive read your comment 3 times and Im trying to envision what you are saying. Do you mean she need to flip the fan blades over? Or are you talking about when deciding which direction the blades need to spin for winter or summer based on which way the blade slant is going? 🤓🧐

    • @meganrivers4633
      @meganrivers4633 2 роки тому +1

      @@annamcgee7434 haha just to help figure out when deciding. Sorry for confusion. When I look up, the right side of the blade is higher for me, which means mine is going clockwise to push down air, hers was counter, so I realized mine are backward. But it was all of my fans (Florida…we have a lot) so not just a fluke in manufacturing on one.

    Sticker removal hack: warm water, dawn soap, and a scrub daddy. Works like a charm

  • @jodychiasson6713
    @jodychiasson6713 2 роки тому +17

    The tape doesn’t take the actual sticker off, it pulls up the sticky residue left after you take it off. It does work, and I usually use the actual sticker to remove the residue.

  • @SarahCadge
    @SarahCadge 2 роки тому +15

    Love this video!
    FYI, the tape hack is to remove the printed price off the sticker if you're giving a gift, not to remove the whole sticker. When I worked in retail we did this all the time. Hides the price from the recipient and makes sure they are able to return the item if they don't have a receipt.

    Omg when I saw that TikTok of rolling your towels I had to try. I sent it to my mom as well. We both struggled with it at first. It took be like ten minutes to get jt, watching the video like 50 times. I agree they go really fast. I found that it’s a lot easier to do on thinner towels. So I was able to do this easily on beach towels . My really nice thick bath towels it worked but it didn’t look like hers. So if you have a beach towel I would try it again. my husband uses the thinner ones from kohls and these were easy to roll. It did free up some space in my pantry by rolling all of the towels. And once you got it done it only takes a few seconds to do it. It’s kinda therapeutic rolling all of your towels, and looks nice when you see them all in your pantry. A hack we use in storing freshly backed cookies is storing a slice of bread in the container, I thought my hubby was weird when he did it but keeps your cookies from drying out.

      The fan needs to draw air UP in the summer and DOWN in the winter. Remember heat rises. So in the winter you want the fan to push the hot air down. In the summer you want it to bring the cool air up.

    It's a bit harder explaining how to roll the towels by writing it down but I will try. When you fold inwards so it looks like the towel is in a point, instead of folding halfway down pull the top half further down (almost halfway) then when you start to roll, the point is longer meaning you have enough of the fold to tuck in at the end. I hope that makes sense. I recently found you on UA-cam, I'm so glad I did. Sending love from the UK.

But girl I was so excited about the ones with the curtains and the windows! I'm definitely going to do that with the window in our bedroom. I like the way you do your hack videos, even if they fail. It's still good to see what works and what doesn't. I'm going to try to fold a towel to see if it turns out. Your windows open the same as ours, so it's easy to clean those, when they open to clean the outside. Love your videos, Ashley! I just love your whole house and you and Chase work well together.

    It makes me smile every single time Chase is working on a project and my buddy George is right there at his side to lend a helping paw. Good boy, George!!

    I really like these hacks and especially the fails. As far as voiceovers, I like those best but which ever is easier, more informative and less time consuming for you is good for me as it relates to real-time hacks versus the voiceovers. Great job. Thank you.

Definitely going to be cutting my magic eraser sponges, and all of my regular sponges. The marshmallow in the brown sugar I had no idea about. Definitely gonna try that too!
