I so agree! My kitchen literally has no pantry area at all I’ve lived here over 20 years and finally about 2 years ago, I converted a hall closet into a pantry. It’s still a smallish pantry but it changed my life! Lol. I can actually have a working food storage area now.
Same here, 😂😂 I took a closed in porch closet and turned it into a large pantry. It was perfect

I did the same thing. My family would never put their coats in the closet, they dumped them as soon as they came in the front door so I put up hooks there, had shelves put in the coat closet and that's our pantry!]
I’m HERE for the garage and shed organization! You hardly ever see shed organization on YT so it’ll be great to see ideas for organizing tools, yard supplies, seasonal items, etc!

I watch a few extreme organize/clean videos on UA-cam but I got a say you inspire me the most. Sometimes half way through your videos I’ll pause, get up and go organize something than come back and finish your video! Than, I’ll do more... my husband always says “you must be watching that vacuum lady again” lol 😂 this was another great one. I’m off now to turn a closet into extra pantry storage. We did that in our old house. We changed over a coat closet into a pantry. It worked great for us and when we sold our home, many people were impressed by it! Now our new house we're struggling because we have one closet and we need somewhere to put food and linens. We've been getting super creative with storage solutions.

I’m usually a organizer but ever since my husband & friend brought me some treasures to diy I haven’t seemed to get to it all.
Totally agree about making your space work for your family. There is a random half closet next to our wet bar and I turned it into a space to store all of our homeschool supplies and curriculum because that's what we needed!

Hi Ashley !! I’ve learned to make do with what I have. Because I have 5 bedrooms ( more bedrooms than I need ) I decided to turn one of my bedrooms into a closet for my clothes. It served the purpose well . I’m still working on my pantry space. It’s small and it’s not working out for me , but it’s a work in progress. Thank you for so many helpful tips.
Omg I got so many good ideas from this video to organize my home. Also, I love that you value function more then aesthetic because that’s also how I try to tackle my spaces when I’m thinking about organizing our home. Great video!

I have had had the hat organizer for my husbands collection for a couple of years now. He loves that he can just grab one and go. I attached them to the wire shelf in a side closet for him. It’s easy access and keeps them up front and east to see. Your laundry basket, I think I saw it in the garage there, I’m sure out of sight for pictures. I currently have it in my cart, waiting to save enough $ to get it. I’m in my 60’s and do laundry for a family of 5. I love the way it looks and rolls. I am in the middle of organizing our kitchen now. Thank you for doing this video. Some good inspiration!!

Great Video! Your Home is so Beautiful and Welcoming💕I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. It feels good to declutter and re/organize a space. I finally tackled our basement which doubles as my husband’s man space, laundry and storage. It felt so amazing decluttering,cleaning and organizing it. Now it has a functional flow and I love going down there now!

Great tips and video. My front closet was converted to my pantry a few months ago. So happy I made the change extremely functional for my home.
I use wine glasses for making fun parfaits. I loved your drawer with the mixed cooking utensils. I'm currently working on trying to organize one of those myself. I'm also using an old 5 qt. pot as a pace for other cooking utensils. It makes a rustic center peice for the counter.
Every thing looks so nice, you gave me so many ideas when I clean and organized around my house I always think what if some one comes over and needs some thing or goes in that space I won't feel embarrassed and clean and organized before I have guest it helps so much if I keep it up

Your home is gorgeous. I have learned so much from you over the years. I would love to have as much storage as you do. Just your kitchen has twice the storage as I do. But I've learned to make it work. Decluttering is a constant battle.

I also stopped decanting because it wasn’t practical for us! I got frustrated with losing the pancake directions and having a few chocolate chips left over in the bag from decanting…it became more stressful!! The visual clutter is less stressful for me than the alternative.
You're a very keen and talented person. Being able to organize is one of those things I've always prided myself on. Trying to simplify things. I never had the means. I had the talent and growing up, it was something I did a lot of. I kept my bedroom neat, color organized my clothes..ect. I've got projects in my head, but it's easier said, than done. It takes of preparation, almost like measured space, colors, especially if your pantry is open. I use my pantry for a coffee station and microwave area because the kitchen space is limited. My husband made a plug on the other side of the wall as they're connected. It's done wonders for my work space. Beautiful house, and lady. You're blessed.

Myself I use recyclables like cardboard boxes grocery bags, things I might get for free, those brown grocery bags, I was using a bowl I made into something for storage being it had a lid but I started getting free purses and zip lock things for pens, loose paper I use a folder with pockets but I also have a binder which I might switch to in the future
But “kudos” to you my friend, you put in a lot of work within your day you motivate me to get things organized as much as I could.
I have SO many blankets too! I have sone weird emotional attachment to them. Maybe I was always cold as a child so I now think I need all the blankets in the world 🤣 wish I wasn't this way.

Hi Ashley. I really enjoyed this video. You have a lovely home and its well organized. I've already used several of your tips already. However, this is a space that I've been dreading going through because it seems so overwhelming. Its our coat closet! Its stuffed with Christmas decor and tons of things we dont need or use and probably wont. You have given me some inspiration to try and tackle it. You also reminded me to just do one space at a time. My problem is I try to do everything all at once and it stresses me out! I've also learned from you to do what works best for my own situation and tweek some ideas I see to better suit my needs. Thanks as always for a great video and hope you have a great weekend as well! That is all super easy when you have a HUGE house and lots of storage. I will definitely follow your advice to organize more around. Sometimes I just do it have the time. I work full time and the rest of the evening is mostly for cooking and dining.
I’ve lived in lots of different sized homes. Even a tiny apartment and always made it work. There is always a reason not to do something but sometimes you just have to push through those negative thoughts and excuses and find a way to make it work. Just doing a little bit at a time will really add up over time.
I'm trying to declutter this week... Less is easier to clean 😁❤️
