Made this cake for Iftar a few days back and my husband and in laws absolutely went bonkers for it. I added more bananas because I just had loads at home but still came out so good. Allah’hummah Baarik everything that I have tried of yours so far has come out so good Alhumdulillah ❤️
Made this today and totally forgot to put in the vanilla due to my daughter running in the room screaming her head off from falling outside (she's ok) but the banana bread STILL came out SOOOO GOOD! oh and I subbed the AP for cake flour. Wow was it so soft and yummy!!!! This is replacing my old recipe!
I made this banana bread and it was by FAR the best I've ever made. I had to make a couple of slight alterations, as follows due to my cupboard being depleted of a few things: I had no baking soda to hand so added more baking powder. I had no walnuts, so used chopped hazelnuts. I had no cinnamon so used 1/2 tsp each of nutmeg and ginger. It came out amazing. I had to give half away to friends as they all loved it. Thanks, MK 💖
Thank you so much for always sharing Edited: I tried this cake the first time and it was the best, i i used white sugar. The second time i added some grated fresh coconut and it was even more wonderful. The the third time i replace sugar with honey instead and i fell in love. Thanks and love you so much from Nigeria ❤❤❤
I made this banana bread recipe today but I lessened the sugar and I sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on top before baking for a crunchy top. It has a moist and cakey texture. Love it.
Girl I just made this and it’s SO GOOD! I loved your vanilla cake so I decided to try this recipe cause I had some overripe bananas and OMG! I swear my your recipes foreverrrr😍
Super happy to try it out! I didn't use cornstarch, vanilla was only about 5,6 drops at home, I blended the butter, white sugar 170g, oil and egg in juicer then added mashed banana and blended again, mixed the dry ingredients and baked at stove oven after preheated for 10 minutes on high flame, then at low-med flame baked for 40 minutes__ perfect still! Thanks girl! Also I added nearly 2-3 ml vinegar in the juicer too.
I made this tonight and it was the best recipe I’ve ever made! I used 4 overripe bananas and did not have cornstarch (which I’m not sure what that does in the recipe) and added a pinch of nutmeg as well. DELICIOUS! I added walnuts to the mix. Next time I might add some chocolate chips! This will be my go to recipe from now on! Oh, and I just realized I used a whole stick of butter! I think that was a delicious mistake!
Made this today and it turned out so yummy i swear. It was my first time baking banana bread and I'm so happy ❤. Mine didn't took 1 hour to bake , it took 45-50 minutes...
Thanks MK! This Banana Bread Recipe came out divine. The recipe and ingredients were simple yet effective. The crumb was soft and moist. The flavor and texture were perfect 10/10!! This will now be my go to recipe. Im not sure if you have a cornbread or corn muffin recipe yet but if not I would love to try it if you decide to share your recipe. Thanks for sharing your gift with the world. You are appreciated! Much love from Maryland, USA❤
Thank you so so much for the super thanks! :D So happy to hear you enjoyed the banana bread recipe :) I don't have a cornbread or corn muffin recipe just yet but will be sure to keep it in mind for future videos! Thank you so much for all your love and support, it really means the world ❤ much love from NZ to Maryland!
Came across yr channel and tried out your recipe for the first time this AM. I only used 50g brown sugar instead of 150g, sweet enough for me. Turned out just like yours, delicious 😊
After I bake any cakes, I cut them up if I don't plan on decorating them and immediately put them in an airtight container lined with tissue roll papers not forgetting the top!! and then cover with the lid. If I don't cut them I wrap in cling foil. All this so the steam helps keep as much moisture and after it cools inside the cakes are the absolute softest it's wonderful! I never leave cakes to cool out in the open as that creates a crust (although it solftens on day 2, the amount of moisture left already) I recommend!
Just made this for breakfast in 4 disposable mini loaf pans. Just decreased the cook time. Turned out fantastic. Only thing I changed was adding a few little nutmeg. Best banana bread ever. Perfect texture.
Yay! So so happy to hear you loved it and the addition of nutmeg sounds amazing!! :D if you manage to find a spare minute I'd be so so grateful if you can kindly leave a review on my blog, it really helps my content out! Thanks so much again for trying the recipe :)
Best bannana loaf recipe. Made it today and came out amazing. MK makes amazing desserts. I didn't even know cakes and loafs can taste this good. I only knew of store bought desserts. My life is forever changed
You've done it again! Another recipe that came out perfectly and is now my go-to. I've been recommending your videos and recipes to all my friends. Thank you!
Aww thank you so much for spreading the word! So glad you're loving the recipes :D If you manage to find a spare minute I'd be so so grateful if you can kindly leave a review on my blog (if you haven't already) for the recipes you've tried, it really helps my content out :) Thanks so much for giving them a go!
I just made this banana bread today💖. I had 3 small bananas 170gr, but kept the original recipe (I didn't halve it). Partially because I added two apples(which is moist too) that I just diced them up into bite size bits. I also added 100gr crushed up, roasted walnuts❤. I didn't add cornflour, neither cinnamon but added the zest of two lemons and vanilla sugar- instead of the liquid form. It came out so delicious!😍❤ Best little slices to have with a tea or coffee!😊 Thanks for sharing this recipe!😘
Beautiful banana bread I make it as well seem like cornstarch is the secret. Ingredients. It’s amazing you’re the only second person I know that add walnuts on top I do too, but I put my in the food processor to get a little smaller the walnuts and sprinkle on top for baking. Only reason I do that because I sell them it looks more like it came from a coffee shop. Love your videos you are such a fabulous baker!
my tin was a bit too big for the amount of batter i could make, its in the oven rn & smells soooo good im sure its gonna turn out great either way! gonna check on it in a bit so it doesnt burn! youre my go-to channel for baking recipes, thank you for all the work you do 🥰
Made it today n it is the best banana bread i have ever eaten....can't believe its soooo easy yet so delicious. It was difficult to wait for it to bake coz the smell of cinnamon banana n brown sugar was just irresistible.
Hi Maryam, today I tried your banana bread after searching online for a easy and perfect ones. I was not happy with the previous recipe, it was heavy found it lumpy. OMG your recipe turned out to be exactly how I wanted to be 😄🎉 so pleased with it, so light and tasty even though I didn't have vanilla essance and cinnamon at home so couldn't add it. And I reduced the sugar only added 90gram instead of 150 grms. And only one thing was different from all the other recipe that is adding corn starch in it. As my oven is slightly power full banana bread was ready in 45 mins. I would like to thank you for sharing the excellent recipe. ❤
Baked this yesterday because I had some extra bananas but didn’t have Greek yogurt. All of your recipes I’ve tried are hits!! Thanks again MK My to try next will be coffee. I still don’t know why I’ve not made it Lots of love from Ghana!
Thank you for the recipe, I made this banana bread yesterday, it was lovely and I got loads of compliments as how moist the cake was and the flavour was so well balanced 😊
I have been watching your channel for a quite q while, but, never tried anything. Today, first time tried banana bread, even though, I donot have vanilla esscence or brown sugar but still it came out tasty. Thanks
Never came back to a video for writing a comment , but i have to say that this is the best and easiest recipe of banana bread you can try , thanks alot for sharing this great recipe .
I just made this and I would add less cinnamon and sugar since the bananas already add a lot of sweetness and I added some chocolate chunks too. Otherwise it's a great recipe!! My family love it
Maryam!!! Not only I LOVE your recipes and videos but I tried this one and BOY! YOU WERE NOT LYING by saying that you had eaten half of the loaf!!! This is the same situation that happened to me and I had to CONTROL myself and wrap it quickly before eating the ALL thing all by myself! What an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!!! Excellent recipe, I recommend it to everyone..........again, with the risk of eating it all immediately after baking!
Aww yay!! :D So so happy to hear you loved the recipe as much as I do and hahaha totally get the struggle of having to control yourself to not eat the whole thing xD if you manage to find a spare minute I'd be so so grateful if you can kindly leave a review on my blog, it really helps my content out :D thanks so much again for trying the recipe and really appreciate the feedback!
Omg, i baked this today and it smells so good. Im too lazy to use mixer so i just use my whisk to smash the banana and the same whisk to cream the butter. The cinnamon made the banana bread smells extra good. Its texture is like as if i bought from the store but more moist which is an achievement as i always baked dense banana bread😅..if theres a perfume with this smell, expect to see me buying lots of it ❤
Such a sweet girl, and all your recipes are divine, but most of all I love the consistent way you put them together. My absolute favourite cake baker by far xx❤from Queensland, 🇦🇺
Hii, I tried this recipe last night and it was AMAZING, SOFT, AND PERFECT!! This is the ONLY banana bread recipe that everyone needs from now on and PLEASE give it a try! These other banana bread recipes that I tried from the past would always turn out dry and rubbery for me and because this recipe uses cornstarch and oil..unlike recipes, these two ingredients are the key to fluffy and moist banana bread! I still have one more banana that is ripe, does anyone know the measurements for this?
Warm greetings sweet MK. I baked your banana bread today. The result was beyond awesome. The only problem is that I needed to have baked two. One just for me😋 and the other for the family.😆 Thank you for sharing. Lotsa love from Durban🇿🇦

Ok we baked it anyway. My 8 yer old mostly did. Whisked the butter and sugar by hand. Eyed up to amount of 2 small eggs. Eyed up the amount of extra-ripe bananas (the riper the better it gets). It's not a pretentious recipe so just keep it simple.
Dear Mk , I’ve tried this recipe and turned out to be The most moist delicious banana loaf in the world 🤩😍 Thank u so much for the recipe, I ❤U . The banana loaf was so soft … All ur recipes are the best ever …
