I made this cake following the recipe exactly and all I can say is WOW! AMAZING! It turned out perfect! I was afraid the lemon syrup would be too much for my taste but to my surprise it was the perfect compliment to the cake. The glaze frosting was also perfect. I love this cake. It looks and sounds just like the lemon cake slices I get from my local artisan cafe and can’t wait to try this recipe! Will be back with an update once I’m done!
10/10 recipe! I made this as muffins instead with a drizzle of the syrup and without the icing and it was delicious! I can’t wait to try it in the loaf pan with icing next! The flavor of the lemons really comes out.

Wow! I wish my mum was this good at baking. Whenever I bake she always try's interfering because she cant stand when I do something without her guidance. In the end she adds all sorts of random ingredients to my cake which ruins it. If you have a daughter she's very lucky!
