- In today's stormgate casted game we see the stormgate vanguard faction versus the stormgate infernal host on broken crown hinterlands.
It was a great stormgate match from the frigate build for stormgate. I hope you enjoy this one where we get to see the new stormgate ability for the vanguard sentinel unit.

Nice cast. Frankly, I like how you have a "chilled out" style of casting. It comes across as very natural and easy to follow, but you still do get excited when interesting things happen.
Thanks so much! I have the same style in aoe4 and it seems to work well there as games are much longer. Was wondering how the blizzard style RTS crowd might find it, but I hope people will enjoy it. Still learning about this style of RTS though, so hopefully my casting will continue to keep getting better. I appreciate the support, I hope you will enjoy the upcoming casts!

The Weaver is such a fantastic design. both in terms of gameplay and visually. i think once all the pieces are in place and we see professionally setdressed maps the game will look pretty decent.

Dident know that tall lanky boys could walk up cliffs.
Theyve given a feeling of psuedo bodyguard units with low movement, grab ability, and being durable.
But cliffwalking will make them more interesting offensively and defesivly by circumventing ramp contains.
Yeeeeep, really looking forward to seeing more of this unit they look really useful for a defensive hold and then when the time is right they push really hard 👌👌. Thanks for watching btw, plenty more content on the way!

I believe it is a risky move, but you can still be early on as far as stormgate goes, so I appreciate you taking the risk. AoE is already well developed game and community. Stormgate is very interesting, brand new project. Keep up the content mate

Nice game. I am starting to warm up to the Vanguard faction. The Hedgehog looks like an interesting unit. I am new to this game but it looks interesting.
Vanguard is my favourite so far! But will be trying out more celestial too. Can't wait for early access release haha Hope you're enjoying the casts!
@@FarmManOfficial-Stormgate I do enjoy the casts, the whole thing of watching casts of this game reminds me of Starcraft 2 which this game seem to be a spiritual successor of.
I did not play as much SC2 as i did Broodwar but i think i may try to dip my toe when it comes out.
Infernals seem like something i would want to try even though i was never a Zerg player and they seem to have some similarities.
Watching both sides initial aggressions, I felt like they were both missing something that could have made those attacks much more threatening. The infernals brute rush could have been a lot nastier if the hexen had been sooner there to get some infests and there were plenty of moments when the hedgehogs were pressuring the infernals front where the presence of a single lancer might have been enough to turn the attack from painful to lethal.
With all that said, still enjoyed my watch quite a bit

is it me, or is the damage on blue healthbars hard to see?
It can be actually, especially when on shroud. I might try to use non-player colour health bars!

I want the hedghog meta to be nerfed before the game goes live
From what I can tell, their hasnt been anything changed with the hedgehogs, its just the new veterancy ability works very well with them? That's my guess, I do agree though, pretty sure we have seen hedgehogs nearly every vanguard game.
