I showed my cis male bf makeup that accentuates his mas features and he loved it, he'd never had makeup on and didn't hold any stigma about it, it was so cool to see that naturally
I'm nonbinary and I only know how to do "feminine" makeup. I want to practice a more androgynous look, just for fun. I'm pretty good at the "no make up make up" look already. Thanks for the tips!
Ngl my gender identity is a train wreck so some days i want to look masculine, other days i want to look feminine, and then there are days i just want to ascend to levels where i could kill god. That is why I'm here edit: to the people saying genderfluid, I believe you haven't heard of my fear of labels :D
for those of you on a time crunch: *base* - 2:20 1: primer 2: conceal only where needed (less is more) and blend 3: foundation and powder *eyebrows* - 5:10 1: draw in the shape with a pencil 2: fill in with eyeshadow (start in the front for a more natural look) 3: touch up with concealer if needed *contour* - 8:23 1: darken areas on your face that have depth 2: contour cheekbones (sharp, horizontal lines are key) 3: contour temples 4: contour jawline *extras* - 12:32 1: blush if you want 2: chapstick hope this helps in some way, and thanks so much for the tutorial!!
Came here to get tips for a male cosplay I’m doing for the Ren fair but was pleasantly surprised by the nice explanation at the beginning of the video validating all the transmasc people out there. Hope you guys are doing well!!
I’ve been exploring my gender for a couple of years (feels like I’m in limbo) and your makeup videos have been a big help on days when I want to feel more masculine. Thank you so much for the help!
I love your energy. Trending is a construct, “time is fake” I love it. You are literal goals. Your hair is like perfect beach wave merman vibes and your facial shape and definition is elf like. Wonderful.
I really like this more than other ftm makeup videos because most of the videos I've seen basically just make your face look dirty, so it's nice to see a video on how to look more masculine but also looking clean.
Im a cis hispanic male and I just wanted to do makeup that still makes me feel masculine. I feel like it doesn’t matter what you identify as but just to be yourself :) I looooovveee self expression
I love the intro, it made me feel a lot better. I am a trans man but really enjoy makeup as a form of self expression and many people have told me I am not actually a trans man since I like "girly" things....so I just wanted to say thank you. I use this "masculine" tutorial for work simply because I want to avoid customers misgendering me. Keep up the amazing content!
I'm nonbinary and desperately needed a video like this. I'm into metal, so most masc makeup"tips" out there never really feel right. Your style is a lot like mine, and I struggle finding that sweet spot of liking what I see in the mirror. Thanks- I subbed 🖤
over the past few days I've been realizing that I'm trans/non binary and it's heartbreaking realizing that all the subtle things I brushed away was actually dysphoria 😢
im an afab enby person who unfortunately passes as a cis/butch woman and i have no idea how to present more masc without clothing, this is really helpful thank you. this seems like this is for trans men but for a lil enby person who doesnt take hormones but wants to present more masc i really really appreciate this. uwu
Thank you! I am non-binary and have been experincing a lot of dysphoria with all the video-meetings seeing my own face. I am trying makeup to do this kind of look for the first time in my life...
Hello!!! Last time you posted i only just came out to my family. And now im already 1 month on T. Glad to see you post again. Even tho you have probably never seen me, you have helped me a lot with your past videos. Especially with that og make up video you recreated here :D It helped me (and still does, aside from the fact that ive been stuck at home since March) a lot with cosplay and passing pre-T . My Dave Strider cosplay looked so much better the second time i wore it to a con because of your video lmao
I remember watching your tutorial back in high school when i was first questioning my gender. Years out of the closet and finally comfortable enough to wear make up as a man, it's so cool to see you coming back to this video too
this video made me so happy! im a gnc trans man but sometimes my dysphoria really messes me up, and thats exactly why ill look for videos like this! passing is NOT important!!
this is really awesome!! ive been wanting to get into makeup for a while but in a way that wouldnt make me look more feminine, and most other masculine style makeup tutorials that ive seen kinda assume you know how makeup works already, so your tutorial was really helpful
Thank you so much for the updated tutorial! I can see where you've learned some things and changed your approach from the last video and it helps me understand also. I think the simplicity of this tutorial is what makes it work so well for everyday wear and your tips on how to make things look less "makeup-y" are a big help. What was the name of the cream contour pallete you were able to find? Since like you said a lot are really orangey. I think I prefer the softer look of powder contour myself but i'd like to experiment with cream also and see if i like it. Also since you brought up the suggestion yes I would give my left kidney for a cosplay tutorial also if you find the time/energy!
Aleksantaeri Thanks so much for the nice feedback!! I’m glad it was helpful and manageable for every day, I wanted to make sure anyone could do it :,) Here’s the cream contour pallet I showed: www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com/contour-cream-kit/contour-cream-kit.html And the power one I used!: www.lunaticklabs.com/Pro-Contour-Book-Volume-1-_p_231.html That pallet is Super Expensive so if you want my suggestion for a good affordable cool toned powder I suggest this one: www.nyxcosmetics.com/face/blush/sweet-cheeks-creamy-powder-blush-matte/800897192297.html?GeoRedirectOff&gclid=CjwKCAjwps75BRAcEiwAEiACMdZaX72qYm5qKQHQXxJO-8E48qAzVegXe8S-YsuMh9KY6VzRK7holxoCGyAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
im a cis girl, but i love presenting masc so im def gonna use this. I love your voice its literally so calming. to my trans peeps, i support and love u all, ur my children now, im ur bi mother now :)
I'm bigender and I already look a bit male, but I never knew how to apply makeup so this will help!! Thank you. Also, I love your hair, I'd die to have that kind of hair style!
I learned a lot, not just about makeup. I just cane here to see how to do a more masculine side to my fairly androgynous face shape, but I learned valuable things too lol
The literal reason I wanted to watch this video? Feeling better in my skin on my masc days. I'm nb/fluid, and like to use make up for my femme AND masc days, but am still learning how to shape my face and brows to feel more me on different gender days/moments. This video really helps ppl like me, so thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for this video and especially for listing and showing everything you were using and explaining everything you’re doing. As someone who’s only worn makeup when applied by other people and has NO clue where to start I cannot begin to state how helpful this was. Almost every other makeup tutorial I’ve looked at seems to assume the viewer has a much better understanding of makeup than I do.
if youre talking about tradgoth, tradgoth is pretty gender neutral. like its intense makeup but men's and womens makeup in the subculture are very very similar
I'm enby and I just wanna wear cute clothes but I can't without getting dysphoric and getting refered to as a women so I'm really happy about this, Thank You! ^^
this comment section feels safe so im gna rant: im meeting my internet bsf tomorrow. she knows im transmasc but i really want to look masculine when we first meet bc who knows when we’ll meet again. id like our pictures together to be smth i dont get dysphoric looking back on
I'm polygender so I tend to change genders alot. I also have a fascination with gender roles. I tend to switch them up alot. I do like how you stated that no matter what you wear you can still be masculine. I love that idea so thanks!
You’re a very enjoyable person to watch and being a transgender teenager who cant do such medical things, youre so helpful! Plus funny lmao- definitely gonna try this and just hope i dont get bullied in my high school😭 ty for the tut tho!
No this wasn't ridiculous because it was so simple. I stopped wearing makeup when I was like 13 cause I already had a lot of insecurities but now I want to use it to masculinize my face instead of feminize it and I have no idea where to start so I've looked at so many videos in this same vein but this is the only one that stuck and made sense so thank you a lot for this I appreciate you I'm transmasc not a transman I'm agender and you talking about the ridiculousness of all the binaries and the expectations was also just really helpful because the other videos I looked at kinda didn't and definitely didn't do it in such like blunt words which I prefer blunt so thank you this was a really good video this is a long winded way to say I needed this and this helped me ty
*from a trans man* it's not appropriating anyone to explore your gender; anyone can do this no matter your gender. some women even prefer to present more masculine and might like doing this makeup to achieve that - so to answer your question, yes you can do this to explore your gender.
To make my eyebrows, I first comb them upwards to make them appear thicker. and then I put on darker colored shadows to fill in spaces, and they look really natural
It kills me you felt the need to give a disclaimer at the beginning. This was the first suggestion when I searched for masculinizing makeup to fight my dysphoria. Finding makeup tutorials for this in the same quality as, say drag queen tutorials, is so hard. If that’s not your passion then that’s totally ok but I’m just trying to let you know that you changed someone’s life for the better.....I’m so sorry for all of this...
we are going for handsome squidward. thats the vision
lol
Indeed
Literally that line made me go oooh!
Yes we learn by memes today
ok i can see it XD
So true
I showed my cis male bf makeup that accentuates his mas features and he loved it, he'd never had makeup on and didn't hold any stigma about it, it was so cool to see that naturally
Love this!!!
This is what i love right here
I'm nonbinary and I only know how to do "feminine" makeup. I want to practice a more androgynous look, just for fun. I'm pretty good at the "no make up make up" look already. Thanks for the tips!
I have no idea how to put any kind of makeup, so here goes!
Like, seriously. I can't put tinted colored lipstick on my face properly.
Ngl my gender identity is a train wreck so some days i want to look masculine, other days i want to look feminine, and then there are days i just want to ascend to levels where i could kill god. That is why I'm here
edit: to the people saying genderfluid, I believe you haven't heard of my fear of labels :D
mood :D
Me too man me too
Mood
yeah same 😩
Thank you for putting this into words lol
Your hair is gorgeous wtf
Right? I could totally wear my hair down if it was curled away from my face. (I chopped it off though.)
for those of you on a time crunch:
*base* - 2:20
1: primer
2: conceal only where needed (less is more) and blend
3: foundation and powder
*eyebrows* - 5:10
1: draw in the shape with a pencil
2: fill in with eyeshadow (start in the front for a more natural look)
3: touch up with concealer if needed
*contour* - 8:23
1: darken areas on your face that have depth
2: contour cheekbones (sharp, horizontal lines are key)
3: contour temples
4: contour jawline
*extras* - 12:32
1: blush if you want
2: chapstick
hope this helps in some way, and thanks so much for the tutorial!!
Thanks dudeeee

this makes me want to start playing around with makeup again...its been a minute haha
Im a cis hispanic male and I just wanted to do makeup that still makes me feel masculine. I feel like it doesn’t matter what you identify as but just to be yourself :) I looooovveee self expression
thats really cool!! im nonbinary but i love the idea of people just doing whatever they like no matter if they’re trans or not :)
I love the intro, it made me feel a lot better. Thank you! I am non-binary and have been experincing a lot of dysphoria with all the video-meetings seeing my own face. I am trying makeup to do this kind of look for the first time in my life...

"time is fake" accurate
Random compliment but your voice is very soothing. Like I like to just keep your videos in the background? It’s nice.
I remember watching your tutorial back in high school when i was first questioning my gender. Years out of the closet and finally comfortable enough to wear make up as a man, it's so cool to see you coming back to this video too
2:55 *Time is fake*
Me watching at 5am on no sleep: I felt that
this video made me so happy! im a gnc trans man but sometimes my dysphoria really messes me up, and thats exactly why ill look for videos like this! passing is NOT important!!
this is really awesome!! ive been wanting to get into makeup for a while but in a way that wouldnt make me look more feminine, and most other masculine style makeup tutorials that ive seen kinda assume you know how makeup works already, so your tutorial was really helpful
oh oh also id love to see how you do cosplay makeup as well!
YES!! im freaking out so glad ur back
Oml- HOW TF IS YOUR HAIR SO AWESOME?!
I just want a jaw line man. That's all I want, is some freaking bone structure.
Dude your hair is awesome, also really appreciated the commentary on passing
Time is fake...
I've got a considerable amount of baggage.
This is the channel for me. 🤣🖤
im genderfluid and this is my first time trying masc makeup!!! Edit: my mom doesnt support me :< but i went to school and i felt so confident. Tysmmmm
Thank you so much for the updated tutorial! I can see where you've learned some things and changed your approach from the last video and it helps me understand also. Here’s the cream contour pallet I showed:
www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com/contour-cream-kit/contour-cream-kit.html
And the power one I used!:
www.lunaticklabs.com/Pro-Contour-Book-Volume-1-_p_231.html
That pallet is Super Expensive so if you want my suggestion for a good affordable cool toned powder I suggest this one: www.nyxcosmetics.com/face/blush/sweet-cheeks-creamy-powder-blush-matte/800897192297.html?GeoRedirectOff&gclid=CjwKCAjwps75BRAcEiwAEiACMdZaX72qYm5qKQHQXxJO-8E48qAzVegXe8S-YsuMh9KY6VzRK7holxoCGyAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

“Ye olde airspun” hfksdhskdk accurate
*me who always tells my parents I don’t like makeup so just has eyeshadow and blush for 5 year olds*
it's SO nice to see you again. i hope you post more!
Yooooo why are you not making videos anymore??? The world needs you on a platform! You are absolutely amazing.
as a trans guy this is super nice to see thanks, my dysphoria has been killing me and I am just done with being misgendered XD
Thanks so much for this video and especially for listing and showing everything you were using and explaining everything you’re doing. what about masculine goth makeup? if thats a thing though ^^|||
That's so problematic to achieve lol. I wish
oh my god yes please I need this also
I second this!
Yeah I'd love to see something like 80s goth make-up
if youre talking about tradgoth, tradgoth is pretty gender neutral. like its intense makeup but men's and womens makeup in the subculture are very very similar
Your old tutorial helped me SO MUCH I’m so happy to get another one! Even though I saw it a few months too late haha
she/theys here rise up 🧎🏻♀️
i really appreciated this today, you articulate your words so eloquently
I'm enby and I just wanna wear cute clothes but I can't without getting dysphoric and getting refered to as a women so I'm really happy about this, Thank You! ^^
he does his makeup
Yes he do
this is awsome, im genderfluid and been needing to learn to do more masculine makeup
"This is my bad side" wrong. You're gorgeous and this was a great tutorial!
oh and brains too...
Genderfluid here, I’m def using this
😭💚 thank you so much for this and what you said at the beginning. Love this and love your content and vibe
this comment section feels safe so im gna rant:
im meeting my internet bsf tomorrow. she knows im transmasc but i really want to look masculine when we first meet bc who knows when we’ll meet again. id like our pictures together to be smth i dont get dysphoric looking back on
" It's not that deep it's just makeup " 👏👏👏
I have never seen someone more handsome than you omg
My brother said you’re handsome, and I agree! 😌
Thank you so much for this video…. It felt really affirming to hear your thoughts and explain realistic masculine make up!!
thank you so much!! i'm super femme and love the idea of being super femme with a super masculine face, i'm trying this make up on new year's eve!!
I'm polygender so I tend to change genders alot. I also have a fascination with gender roles. I tend to switch them up alot. I do like how you stated that no matter what you wear you can still be masculine. I love that idea so thanks!
You are beautiful 😻
My make up takes like 15 min , + shaving and doing my hair + 30 min …..
This helps so much, I only have eye shadow and eye liner at the moment so when I get the money I’ll need to buy some more stuff
can’t decide whether i want to be you or be friends with you 🧍🏾♀️
YOU GIVE ME GENDER ENVY
I'm a nonbinary person who likes to do masc looks and this was super helpful. Thank you
aight we going for handsome squidward, GOT IT!! :D
Thanks for this man. I’m new to makeup so it was nice that you put the exact products you used
my makeup routine is this + givin myself some DEATHLY fucking eyebags
You’re a very enjoyable person to watch and being a transgender teenager who cant do such medical things, youre so helpful! Plus funny lmao- definitely gonna try this and just hope i dont get bullied in my high school😭 ty for the tut tho!
five seconds in and i already think you're awesome. was looking for eyebrow hacks and this popped up. Glad i clicked on.
Ascher so happy you’re back! Also you seriously look like a rockstar ok??! And your eyebrows are glorious. Also bad side? Never heard of it :D
Ohh i love your voice! its really androgynus, and good makeup anyways, it helps my genederfluidity :)
No this wasn't ridiculous because it was so simple. Is it okay for me to use this just to explore my gender identity or just explore what I like? I don't want to appropriate anyone.
*from a trans man* it's not appropriating anyone to explore your gender; anyone can do this no matter your gender. some women even prefer to present more masculine and might like doing this makeup to achieve that - so to answer your question, yes you can do this to explore your gender.
"Because i- don't fucking- Time is fake 🥸"
Literally me when my mom asks if I slept
To make my eyebrows, I first comb them upwards to make them appear thicker. and then I put on darker colored shadows to fill in spaces, and they look really natural
I recently learned I'm nonbinary and trans masc- This really helps with me wanting to look more masculine on a daily-
thank u for this bc i feel so dysphoric and have such a feminine face unfortunately
I'm Afab Transwoman and this is really helpful for me! Thanks
If you are afab that makes you an trans man :) glad I could help! (Language is confusing it’s ok)
I missed your videos!! Love this. Also your hair is cool
Charlie Schreiber thanks so much!! and it’s good to be back 💕
Thank you for this. I will try and do this! It looks cool! I want to be called Liam.
Honestly just searched this up for my Sokka cosplay😭😭
I did the mascara in the eyebrows look when I was younger. Lol
It kills me you felt the need to give a disclaimer at the beginning. This was the first suggestion when I searched for masculinizing makeup to fight my dysphoria. Finding makeup tutorials for this in the same quality as, say drag queen tutorials, is so hard. There are volumes upon volumes of tips tricks and tutorials for transwomen to fight dysphoria and societal standards with makeup, but very little exists for us trans guys. It might be where I sit in the algorithm, but Ive found it extremely difficult to find representaion and resources, even for things as simple as this.
A lot of people like to call us trenders for enjoying normal ungendered things that they deem feminine so unfortunately I always make those disclaimers unu you’re right, there are very few trans people in the public eye saying this though. Most famous trans people are transmeds, ie they only believe it from rigid biological angles
@@aschspectre i think it comes from older generations/people interpreting trans-ness as a new thing young people do. It makes it easier to sit in ignorance as the very nature of a trend is ephimeral.
You look so good! I love your hair. And I agree with you
This is really helpful, thank you so much
You saved a little transgender boy congratulation
my masculine side envy’s you
Hi guys! I’m just here cuz I’m a guy in a play but I’m here for all of you!!!
Good luck in ur show!
im a demigirl and I think this will help me for my mekup whenever I feel less fem and more non binary/masc so thx
This was so helpful, thank u
Thank u this made me feel less like shit :)
Whoops I’m so sorry I misread this The first time Ily
Masculine femme here
😺🌞
Hiya
I’ve been here since you were identifying as gender-fluid...You helped me understand who I am and it’s taking ALOT for me to comment this.... I’ve been waiting on videos but you never post. I used to check every day if you made a new video... I’m not trying to be an ass or hurt you, I’m trying to encourage you to make more videos. If that’s not your passion then that’s totally ok but I’m just trying to let you know that you changed someone’s life for the better.....I’m so sorry for all of this...
Gosh I love ur hair. Giving supreme gender envy
Loved this so much thank you 🥰
I tried to look more masculine for my gf
So I did this
And I look like a clown
God I suck at makeup
/sees top surgery fund in desc/ WAIT UR NOT AMAB??!?!?! :0000
me being omni for females with that 2% for trans guys and alt/emo guys watching this like: Im not simping... not simping..... vnaionbfkbfas
My hair is short and brown now so that will probably help ease the simping you can go back to loving beautiful women
