“Pretty anime boy” you are correct I’m cosplaying Giorno Giovanna
Omg the og pretty boys
Eyyy
YESS
Random, but for the longest time I thought dio was one of the ‘good guys’, turns out he was a villain lol
Damn wanna see
"For everyone else here who just trying to look like a pretty Anime boy" I never felt this called Out in my life 😂 No but seriously...this helped so much with my Cosplay. Thanks!
I too only wish to be a pretty anime boy, so who am I to judge haha 😂💕 I'm so glad this helped!!!
That's why I'm here too!
This is legitimately the most helpful video I’ve found on this topic and as a genderfluid AFAB I hugely appreciate it.
5:47 I gasped out loud. You’re a huge life saver, thank you!
I died at “I’m turning into Jim Carey” 🤣🤣🤣
Omg I’ve been doing my makeup for years and perfecting it to have a more masculine face and I literally do exactly the same things as you, great video :)))
Yeeee! A lot of drag kings and other cosplayers had some amazing tips, so it helped a lot in the last 10 years of doing this kind of makeup hahaha
This was so helpful for the cosplay i did. I've never tried to do masculine contouring, so this was a huge help
This has helped me soo much with my androgyness look
I super appreciate the detail in your explanation. A lot of these breeze through some of the details and I am awful at makeup, so this was very helpful.
This contour stick looks dope
Thank you so much! As a beginner cosplayer, this is super helpful.
This is me looking for references to make my everyday make up more androginous.
love that this is already how i do my makeup
Ur literally a live saver ily
Did i watch this for cosplay? yes. Am I gonna use it for when I’m just not feeling like gendering as a girl? Also yes! Thank you so so so much!!
This helped me sooo much to feel comfortable in my own skin 💖💖💖 Thank you SO so much.
That's so great to hear!! I'm so glad I could help!
This is the simplest but most detailed and informative tutorial for beginners. I am getting back into cosplay and I prefer to do make characters, plus I want to dabble with king makeup techniques to help enhance my looks. This helps to give me a good understanding and workable base to either use as is or to work off of. Thank you so much!
I love this video! I'll definitely be using it to help make my face more androgynous (I'm an agender AFAB & my face is a little bit too soft & feminine for my taste)
Me: watching this so i can troll on omegle
Everyone else: literally cosplay gods.
Thank you! This was absolutely amazing. I'm a very technical and detail oriented person as well as a digital artist and the way you went into that, gave me angles and anatomy points, bless you for helping my brain, giving me something that works for my learning style and helping me relate to info I already had.
thank you so much for this video it was very helpful 💜
Yay! I'm glad! Let me know if there are any other types of videos you'd be interested in seeing!
I absolutely love this, answered all of my questions in preparation for my aemond targaryen cosplay. You're amazing!
This is the best tutorial out there I think, you covered that up so professionally. Thanks my guy
I just did this and my phone’s facial scanner didn’t even recognize me 😂👌🏻
I spent way too much time frantically trying to refind this video
Oop! I may need to add a few tags to make it easier to find! My bad!
@@BumbleTeaCosplay It's all good! ^-^
Thank you so much ❤ , it will me for my first masculine Cosplay ♥️✨
I love lips technic
i saw a huge difference from start to finish
but thank you so much, this will really help me for my cosplays
Perfect description, thank you
It was weird watching you contour and say to myself, "That's how Adam Lambert contours too!" It's nice to see my make-up tutorials reinforcing each other! Great video. I'm really looking forward to working on my make-up now!
Adam Lambert is my favourite, I crush on him so hard lol 😅❤
That was very helpful, thank you so much for sharing!
This is the best thing i see after a lot of serching, thank you❤️
Could you do this with just eyeshadow and eyebrow pencil?
This video is so helpful! Thank you!
Great cosplay techniques!!!
You stay super cool✨
Could you even completely block out the eyebrows and redraw them to change their shape and color? For example, if you have dark eyebrows and you're cosplaying a male character with white or blond eyebrows?
Thanks so much for this! My fae prince and my Regency gentleman both thank you in advance!
Que vídeo maravilhoso, irei aderir as dicas!!!❣
I wish I'd found your tutorial a month sooner (before a con lol)! I just tried it and although I didn't have all the supplies you have, it still kind of worked and looked pretty good! Thank you sooo much for this tutorial. Imma safe this vid for the next con ✨💕
Ty im going to cosplay as adam in a few months “i hope” lol keep up the good
Hahaha "five-head"
I know me and my five-head won't be offended by this comment. I won't be. :') /j
i have a male cosplay that i’m going to do, but he has feminine eyeliner / eyes. should i just combine feminine eyeliner with masculine makeup? or what should i do? i want to keep the feminine eye look, but still remain masculine.
Yeah! I do that all the time with a lot of my masculine pretty boys! I like the aspect of a hyper feminine eye makeup paired with a hella masc face. You know, for the ✨D r a m a✨
Im gym trans and this might help me out a lot! Thank you!
*ftm
I was about to start googling gym trans to see what you meant
@@alexshemwell8320 pppffft-
Yeah…..
I want to turn into David Byrne for a party… I better start practicing! Great stuff, thanks!
I'm cosplaying kurapika😌
Well here I am. A guy getting make up tutorials for my cosplay. Didn't think Id see this day coming lol
Thank you so much!
I’m cosplaying doma do you think this will work?
Bruh this is SO helpful
The best tutorial of turning into a boy!
(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ thank you for explaining
So just for the sake of asking, could i use jeffree star eyeshadow for darkening the contour parts of my face?
Thank you soooo much! I am a trans non binary, and I have been needing a tutorial like this for ages! Thank you!
This will help my hiccup cosplay I need to practice contour. Do you have tips for lips and make look less red? I'm genderqueer and I have red full lips so it gives it away unf lol
i have the same problem - the only tips i have is to either find a very full coverage matte concealer (this was my method but my fave concealer has been discontinued rip) or use a lipstick that’s close to your skin tone (preferably a matte liquid lip because they’re more long lasting)
@@evieisamarshmallow thanks for the tip. ::)
This is amazing! Thank you!!
Tomorrow is barbecue dad day at school. I will be the best barbecue dad there
Great! DRAGKINGS are still so rare
There's actually quite a lot of Kings 😅 Queens just don't book them and they aren't shown in mainstream very often bc Drag is still a very male dominated industry.
I am not sure if I am ftm but I just want to look a lil masc so is there something I could do on a daily basis?
You can honestly increase or decrease the weight of the application very easily. For everyday makeup I tend to go a little bit lighter, only using one type of contour (either cream OR powder, not both), or even using a lighter shade of the contour color to get a bit more of a softer look.
@@BumbleTeaCosplay thanks a lot ㅠㅠ
Finally a tutorial that works
Ervin Smith cosplay:D
Can I use translucent powder instead of setting powder?
ya man !!
That is technically a setting powder! I personally use the Mehron Translucent Setting Powder bc it's got a nice consistence and set time
thanks I'm questioning my gender so this helps
This was really helpful
Yo. Usually I'm pretty good with paint. Howver you got me beat. I gotta use this as a base and then idk. I haven't watched that video but ik you know you stuff....... let's goooooooooooooooo
When you said I'm turning into Jim Carey I felt that because same lol
Is it possible to recreate this with powders?
Yes! I believe I mentioned somewhere that I tend to use both cream and powder to enhance it/make it pop more on camera. Couldn't tell you if it was this video or not for the life of me, but I do use both cream and powder in this video for that exact reason.
Looks dope
Thank you. As a trans man, this was super helpful
This tutorial is really helpful! You have a close-ish face shape to mine, so this should work well
Side note, if you had a thicker southern accent, you would sound exactly like my best friend and it's freaking me out
Thank you!!!! 12:15
What would you recommend for someone who lives out of a suitcase and wants to buy as few products as possible?
Try to decide on one type of product: cream vs powder. You don't need both to achieve this look, and honestly if you have four brushes, a beauty blender, a little 4 color neutral brown palette, and a single contour color, MAYBE a brown eyeliner pencil you can achieve a lot.
@@BumbleTeaCosplay thanks! Do you ever have issues with your mask smearing it? You mentioned cosplay and I'm not sure if that requires a mask or not.
@@alexshemwell8320 primarily I don't have experience wearing masks with cosplay until very recently. There are ways to use setting powders and sprays to make it stick for a hot minute, but there's always a possibility of smudging. If you're wearing this for an every day look, you can sometimes get away with just doing the eye makeup and a little bit down your nose and then leaving your mask on all day (usually how I go about things)
Thanks for this :D
This is me realizing that I do most of this while doing my normal feminine makeup…
I have a men's eyebrow 👀
am i the only one that ended up looking like Donald trump😭
Make sure you have foundation that matches your skin tone, otherwise that stuff happens lmao
I love your voice
Having a round (baby) face makes it hard for me to contour.
any other trans guys here
But what do i do as a guy 😭 do i just use foundation and stuff to get rid of my red points ? I dont know what to do im so new to cosplay 😂
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, MY MOTHER SAID I COULD COSPLAY BUT I HAVE TO WORK FOR IT!!!.
Lmao I was the 666th like. Does this prove I’m Satan? Yes, yes it does.
Thank you though. I’m a 15 year old trans boy, and my friend recommend I try “masculine make-up”. I love your tutorial, and I hope it helps me feel more confident in myself!
*smiles in non-binary and trying to get a more masculine face*
I'm going to be hottest Howl around, thanks love!
pretty anime boys yes but also being a guy for musical theatre LMAO
everybody(olmost) is here for cosplay reasons im here becouse im trans lol
Just found out I naturally look like a man. 😳 I just need to fix my hair.
SO EXCITED to go and look like a beautiful man. Thank you makeup people for making my gay life a little gayer.
Been lookin for ways to alleviate my dysphoria without hormones or surgery thank you for the tips❤
So some questions. How did you find your face/jaw shape? would you use this over body paint? And how do you know your undertones? Sorry for all the questions I am still super new to makeup
All great questions! Generally you can find that either by researching face shapes and finding which one is closest to yours then looking up tutorials for contouring that face shape. From there you can alter it to look more masculine by researching masculine faces with that face shape and finding the shading points on that to match it up. I found mine through MANY years of trial and error and so many practice looks that will never grace the internet. You CAN do this on face paint! It's a similar process, but you use various shades of the main color you're using, so if you're doing a blue look you use three or four shades of blue to achieve that. I can do a tutorial doing a masculine makeup face paint look for this as well! As for the undertones that's kind of hard to explain, but I'll do a bit more research and get back on that one. I just know that I have a lot of red and yellow (warmer) undertones because of the specific shade my skin is and my genetics' leaning. There's ways to research whether you are warmer or cooler toned, I'm just not great at explaining them, sorry!
@@BumbleTeaCosplay I would love to this this with face paint please. And thank you so much for answering the questions since I find a lot of tutorials don’t explain things as well as you do
