:( I have a guy friend and we've been going on and off for almost ten years. I feel used. Whenever I get into him and he starts showing interest, he just shows up enough to hook me in. Then, when we get close, he just stops messaging me enough and tells me that he's busy. I feel so sad. I asked him why he's doing this to me and he told me that he doesn't want to do anything that he'll regret in the future because his work is the most important thing in his life. I share so much with him and tell him that I support everything he does. I tell him that he's so wonderful. I tell him that I'll always be there for him. I tell him that he'll always be in my heart. I tell him that it's okay if he doesn't want a romantic relationship because I'm busy too. Like, this online UA-camr, QHHT practitioner, and artist thing is so dynamic. There are a lot of things to consider in my business. I have to take care of myself first so that I can be there for others. I just feel so used. He was never serious about me so he left me all alone, lonely, and still wanting more of the sense of safety he provided. I'm so sad. I have other friends who are there for me. They're so sweet, but no matter what they say, I still just have to process what went on. I know, it's easy to just say he's a jerk and that I should let him go, but I just feel so abandoned and lonely. He keeps on leaving me whenever he gets enough validation and pretends like it's okay because we're just friends. 😢😭😭😭 Then, when I say I feel really sad for him doing that, he just leaves me alone without trying to comfort me and says that he has to work on himself. He just wants validation. I tell him that I just feel like a toy, but it's like he just doesn't care I get abandoned every time. At least, with other guy friends they make it obvious from the get go that they don't want anything more and they actually reciprocate. They never lead me on like this. They never act like they want to commit to a serious relationship and abandon me when I get close to them romantically. I think in all relationship dynamics (even non-romantic ones) people should be clear. People should be there for each other just because they want to. Not because they have some kind of ulterior motive. Maybe he's actually a jerk and I only imagined him to be a nice person because he always put his best forward to get me... or maybe he's just too damn insecure or immature to know how to communicate with women. He started devaluing me asking me, "Why don't you drive a Mercedez? Why don't you get a degree in a upper middle class field so you can get a good job? Why don't you just finish college?" I told him about my situation with finances and instability. I just don't have the resources to finish college nor do I have the desire. I even told him that what I want to do in life doesn't require a degree. It requires skills that can only be gained from experience in the field. Maybe my friend's right that he's a narcissist. Everyone keeps on telling me that I should just let him go. He acts like I'm the one who did something wrong. Kindness has to be consistent. It has to be genuine. There are a lot of men who are fake nice. There are a lot of fake gentlemen. It's better just to approach people with true colors so they don't get angry when they find out there's a mask. So I was just being used because I was just seen as a distraction. I think men like that are also distractions to women. They can just dismiss my feelings and reserve to tasks that have to do with their career. They can just abandon me like how many fathers abandon their children and families. Meanwhile, to women, the most important thing in our lives is being there for the people we love. Our career is also important, but biologically we have a stronger desire to bond with others. It's a priority for us, so next time I'm only showing interest towards men who know how to have a work-life balance. I'm choosing men who actually have empathy. Who actually see people as individuals and not just some resource they can deplete. It's so tiring, empty, and unfulfilling to spend my time on men who continually use me as a battery for their egos.

try detox... I had an addiction over chocolate and the only way I got rid of it was not consuming it... If you eat sugar, your brain'll create more receptors for sugar, thus, you will want more sugar and so on. You need to reset your brain, directly don't eat sugar... You'll feer pretty shitty, maybe even anxious, that's ok, just make sure you stay without sugar, then your brain'll get used to not consuming sugar
