From reading “atomic habits” summary. Hamza, the fact that you are not making “hyper-stimulating” videos like you did before is a great thing. I'm a feminine woman.... and at a completely different stage in life to Hamza.... so I can't relate completely to what he's saying BUT... I watch every video because I have a masculine partner and I have a young son. I want to learn as much as I can to make sure I can be there to support them in a way that empowers them. I do wish there was a feminine youtuber who could show me the best way though!! I am having to do the hard work to find out how... especially when I don't feel like it, of course. 🤣
My biggest mistake that kept me from progressing for months was that I thought that having a purpose in life was just one of the pillars of self improvement. I thought going to the gym, meditating, having a purpose, doing deep work.. they were all equally important pillars. I decided to take it easy with one of them, purpose, and to stay strong with all the rest. I realised, the hard way, that without purpose, everything else fades away over time. Without a purpose you lose your "why." Its purpose that's the most important aspect. Purpose is the glue that holds together all the pillars of self improvement. It gives you a *reason* to delay gratification. I talk about it in my latest video, if that's something you might be interested in :)
I used to want to be a rapper and I believed this was my purpose. It wasn’t until I started to get closer to God that I realized that He wants much better for me. Now I know that my purpose is to serve Him. I’m still not sure what my exact mission on the Earth is but I take comfort in the fact that I know my long term purpose is to be with Him in heaven. Now I can be at peace and know that He is slowly revealing to me what I’m meant to do on this Earth day by day, week by week
For the people who have acknowledged all of this but don't know where to start, my piece of advice is: hit the gym. Might seem something too simplistic or maybe you feel that you don't have the motivation to start, just do it. As Hamza says, do it a couple of days, it gets easier. Not only because you start to build consistency, but because every time you go and lift all that heavy weight, you come out as a different man. Trust me We are all gonna make it brahs! Discipline is the key to happiness

It’s so true, this weekend I felt awful. Because I knew I wasn’t doing what I needed to do that weekend.“Rents always due”. I immediately hit the gym, made a schedule, and studied what I needed to until I completed the section I needed. Even if I’m up to 11pm studying, I had to create the mindset of “fuck science” because that will give me every excuse in the book to not wake up a bit earlier, and stay up a bit later. My reason for studying is so I can be that person that changes my family tree. My grandparents worked insane hours for years to ensure our family would start on an even playing field. Hamza, I deeply appreciate the quantity and quality that you’ve put out recently. For a minute I was getting scared that you were going to transform the main channel into something that was fully-animated and held more emphasis on entertainment rather than true, thorough help. Bro thank you so much for these videos. I am 17. I have reduced my screen time, this is the end of the day (I still have some tasks remaining to do like reading and some homework). I have been putting a lot of effort into my studies every day, increasing the time of self-study to 7 hours a day. I go swimming in the morning. And it just feels super good when you can solve the questions based on your current knowledge. My mission is to gain as much knowledge as possible in my lifetime, expose myself to as many ideologies and educate myself about the major religions (I am non-religious, and atheist), my purpose is because I want to achieve that level where I live a satisfying and fulfilling life, i won't follow any religious practices but i can improve my lifestyle a little after educating myself about major religions, stoicism and read Nietzsche's writings. Nietzsche spoke against nihilism and he predicted that it will happen in the coming time. nihilism iz a pandemic, and it is only going to rise in the coming years, solve every single problem that I am given, understand every single paragraph of any book I am told to read and build a body which I am proud of. I was fragile before but I did work on self-improvement and improved my body, but I was very inconsistent. I will become consistent now. I am preparing for JEE examination. Only 1% (10 K out of 1-1.5 million students) are selected for JEE Advanced. SO the exam is challenging and competition is high. (I am sorry for the bad English :(

everything he says is true. This is why it is not good to judge anyone because everyone is unique with a different path in life. The western world makes us think its all about money, fame, big house, hot wife, ...... not to say that these things are not enjoyable, but they are not the only purpose. They are just like icing to the cake. I believe the cake is more rooted in wisdom and good character. This is something not emphasized enough in modern society, where its all about the quick fix, the claim to fame, but in the end most end up miserable. if you practice meditation daily you will come to clearer realizations much faster because these are the moments we see our flaws more clearly and make resolutions about how to fix the problem. If you never take time to take stock of all your actions, its like a business man who never makes a daily count to see how much profit has been made after expenses. All the technology of the modern world is a subconscious weapon to prevent you from becoming more self aware, because if more people were by now there would probably be a world wide revolution against all governments. Dumb downed people are much easier to manipulate and control.
My purpose - to BUILD a legacy (being a charismatic prospering man who forged his own path and climbed out of his low points like a phoenix from the ashes) My WHY - to PASS that legacy on (all my success, all my failure so others can learn from my mistakes and BE better than me)
thanks man. i really respect you. i`ve been trying to do self improovement for years before even finding out it was a thing, i would always fail and fail and fail, but i think now the time has come not to fail for me anymore.
Summery of video: The choices a man makes should align with his mission, this is described in the book “The way of the superior man”. The mission is the goal, what you want, and your purpose is the reason you want it. Hamza describes his purpose as wanting to help men during their self development journey and make it easier for them. The ultimate way a man should live is to dedicate every action in his life towards his purpose and mission, down to the smallest of actions. To reach this, Hamza suggest progressive overload. Start with maybe 5% of your day toward your purpose, than maybe 20% then 50% and so on. People might see this as unfulfilling, directing every action toward one thing, but each action, with the right intention could be seen as furthering you toward your goal. Hanging out with friends could be seen as practicing your social ability. Hamza ends it with saying that the negative feeling you feel when you do not do productive things is because you are not living in your purpose. It is easy to throw the depression card but the true reason you feel shit is because your choices do not align with what you should be doing. Start dedicating every action toward your goal and you will feel fantastic.
Taking the words out of my mouth, everyone's advice always goes like "focus on your purpose" but never actually teach you how to discover that purpose. My favorite advice for purpose is that purpose is not something you "find", but create, and it's cool that more people are talking about such an important topic.
Yes. Purpose comes first. The reason why I got through my long term relationship break up was because of my purpose. I always had my purpose first in our relationship, so it was easier to cope when we broke up. If it wasn’t for my purpose; I’d be down really bad.
I was talking to my friend about their purpose and they just ghosted me, man. It’s so hard to influence people that don’t want to change their toxic lifestyle.
I was having an ice cream while watching this video. I threw it away halfway, took my sword, and started practicing fencing. I'm going to the Olympics, mark my fucking words.
When you know your purpose and mission in your life, you should navigate your holistic life including your dating life and other aspects based around that. You are responsible for carrying out your goals everyday as you are working towards them, so if you have any negative habits, people or things that is bringing down, it's time to give them up and really focus so you can become the best version of yourself. Thank you Hamza.

I journal for 2 days almost about quitting the pc and videogames for good (although ik ill come back to it when i feel i can control myself) and it was so hard for me, i remmember watching a lot of videos on hamza and andrew huberman for information on addiction and as much as is hurted me(bc i used to play with my grandma and father on that pc) i had to let it go... it helped my a lot in a break up and with anxiety, it litterly felt like a friend that does not judge, but im better now and i wanted to be more and im gratefull with hamza for all this. 2 weeks without playing a single game and i just feel happier and more focused than ever, i even have fun in partys now.
Hamza, I deeply appreciate the quantity and quality that you’ve put out recently. For a minute I was getting scared that you were going to transform the main channel into something that was fully-animated and held more emphasis on entertainment rather than true, thorough help. But I’m grateful that you’ve recently avoided that path in favor of quality, deep discussion. Keep being an inspiration and just remember, you’re creating an army of hundreds of thousands of strong men. Mad love ❤️.
Yeah bro I've been thinking about the same thing literally
Damn. The last part hit hard, I never thought about it, but it is so true, and very well-said.
The audio on this video is amazing
My "why" is to be a great protector and father
10:25 til the end of the video. Best message I've heard from hamza yet. Thank you brother
💯
That last part was so Powerful, you definitely need to end the Videos more often like that.
I always get the Wisdom and the Knowledge that I need from these Videos, but
rarely the Motivation to get the ball rolling. Keep up the good work 🙏
Would love to see a full mental health guide video like the recent one on looksmaxxing
Align yourself guys. go for your purpose, and listen to the words of Hamza.
Fantastically stated brother! Everyday I see men who are wasting their lives instead of walking the journey of self-improvement.
A youtube channel thrives when the hook gets the viewers attention, that initial jeffery & adonis intro give you the point of that the next 10 to 30 minutes will provide. Well done, once again a well executed visuals
I’ve watched you for a long time. This is, without a doubt, the best video not on the unfiltered channel.
(I am sorry for the bad English :(
I’m 17 and our situation is exactly the same, keep grinding brother 🥂
Same bhai
Hamza would be proud of you brother, keep going and don't stop,I know you can do it and if you don't pass, well, you learn more from failure than victories :^)
How is it going man?😅
Great video! Can you also make a video on optimism and it's importance to reach any goal in life? Book - Change your thinking, Change your life.
man literally said the truth about our sociaety
This is impressive, thanks man.
Inspiring: “start living like the best version of yourself, and you will feel fantastic”
This is the way a man should live, Live 100% of your life align it to your purpose
bruh holy shit the wake up call at the end
Who ever commented before even watching the video is a *Jeffrey*
I agree
Im still a jeffrey
That means your still one lmao

@@tacituskilgore820 same bro. most people start off at Jeffery its okay though we are on our way to Adonis, slowly but surely, as long as you put in the work
My Mission is to be an actor thank you for inspiring me Hamza love watching youe videos when I feel down. Thank you
thank you.
Sam’s editing is getting really good, the audio cuts are clean.
And Nikola’s, you doing good
everything he says is true.
This is why it is not good to judge anyone
because everyone is unique with a different
path in life.
The western world makes us think its all about
money, fame, big house, hot wife, ......
not to say that these things are not enjoyable,
but they are not the only purpose.
They are just like icing to the cake.
I believe the cake is more rooted in wisdom
and good character.
This is something not emphasized enough
in modern society, where its all about the quick fix,
the claim to fame, but in the end most end up
miserable. if you practice meditation daily you will
come to clearer realizations much faster because
these are the moments we see our flaws more clearly
and make resolutions about how to fix the problem.
If you never take time to take stock of all your actions,
its like a business man who never makes a daily count
to see how much profit has been made after expenses.
All the technology of the modern world is a subconscious weapon to
prevent you from becoming more self aware, because if more people were
by now there would probably be a world wide revolution against
all governments. Dumb downed people are much easier to manipulate
and control.
the last 3 minutes are freaking GOLD
My purpose - to BUILD a legacy (being a charismatic prospering man who forged his own path and climbed out of his low points like a phoenix from the ashes)
My WHY - to PASS that legacy on (all my success, all my failure so others can learn from my mistakes and BE better than me)
Preach brotha!! Spot on!!🙌🤩
Hamza I found you in April 2022 and you have changed my life.
Very relatable Hamza especially when you say having those thoughts to always try to improve rather than numbing yourself to it
I want things that cannot be achieved but I can get close to my goals and I'm going to
thanks man. i really respect you. i`ve been trying to do self improovement for years before even finding out it was a thing, i would always fail and fail and fail, but i think now the time has come not to fail for me anymore.
towards the end of this, i felt like you were pouring out your soul
The strong desire to do lazy stuff is so separate to how much you are actually enjoying doing that stuff.
Alhamduillah i am grateful for having Hamza in my life.
Yes. Purpose comes first. The reason why I got through my long term relationship break up was because of my purpose. I always had my purpose first in our relationship, so it was easier to cope when we broke up. If it wasn’t for my purpose; I’d be down really bad.
thanks for this 😳😳
I was talking to my friend about their purpose and they just ghosted me, man. It’s so hard to influence people that don’t want to change their toxic lifestyle.
This one hits different
I was having an ice cream while watching this video. I threw it away halfway, took my sword, and started practicing fencing. I'm going to the Olympics, mark my fucking words.
Thx
Hammza
I love this subtle editting
When you know your purpose and mission in your life, you should navigate your holistic life including your dating life and other aspects based around that. You are responsible for carrying out your goals everyday as you are working towards them, so if you have any negative habits, people or things that is bringing down, it's time to give them up and really focus so you can become the best version of yourself. Thank you Hamza.
The last part is very fucking inspirational, good job editor, and thank you as always hamza.
