I love that we got to see the contrast between you feeding your flesh vs your spirit. The contrast between mirroring the world and then mirroring The Word. Last Dec I prayed for you. I saw the slippery slope as your Sister and I was right there with you. I prayed He would strip you from anything of this world. I think it was that very month that you took a break. Then all the veils QUICKLY got removed. Seeing you break out of bondage helped (and is helping) me break out of my own bondage. He really does move us in One Accord so often and it's so beautiful to see/experience. Love you! ❤️

you’re so real milena to admitting to walking in disobedience, all of us do it at some point, i still struggle with it too.
random thought: i love that in the book of rev - it talks about ppl who are PERFECT in this world but will burn in hell for one reason - not spending time with God in the secret place and repenting for it.
it motivates me to try my absolute BEST to walk in obedience, im scared of failing myself and failing God!

Thankful for eyes to see our beautiful children’s faces, our husband. God’s art aka sunrises and sunsets 🌅 etc etc. Ears to hear praise music, our loved ones’ voices, birds chirping and on and on. Our arms to do things, hold our babies etc etc. I try to stop and thank Him for stuff like this often that most take for granted. 🙏 so so so grateful Jesus. Thank you ❤

your biblical perspective is SO refreshing in every way! your content has been such a blessing, i feel like you’re my mentor and who i turn to when i think of biblical femininity, being a wife and motherhood God’s way. The world is so perverse and it’s so nice to have someone i can listen to who has the same mentality and i also learn so much as a first time pregnant mama! I dream of being able to stay home with my son and other future children (God willing) and train him up God’s way. Praying that my husband’s job will allow this kind of lifestyle for us💕

Thank you for this video. Something you said really hit me hard. My family is going through a rough time right now; I’m a mommy of a 1 year old and she has some pretty intense itchy eczema. Thank the Lord that it’s gotten much much better but it’s still very rough mentally and emotionally for me to see her struggle daily. You mentioned walking in disobedience and it being very clear what God is calling us to do. So for the past 2/3 years my husband, who spends A LOT of time in the word, has been trying to convince me to give up holidays, started with Halloween, then Easter and now Christmas. I’m having a hard time letting go of Christmas & all the traditions that come with it. I always wonder if this is me disobeying. I would LOVE LOVE to hear your thought on celebrating holidays especially Christmas.
All holidays are evil. It's that simple. God is not in the holidays. Never was never will be. Just because it looks good, beautiful doesn't mean it is good. Satan disguises as an angel of light. Meaning he makes evil things look good. My family and I are fully for God, and that also means no holidays. We're not missing out because we have Him. He is all we need and want. This world is temporary. We're joyful to be with Him in heaven, and we're storing up treasures in heaven, not on earth. Everytime a person does something evil they open a door for Satan and his demons to have the right to do whatever they want to the person or people. Disgusting! We refuse to entertain the enemy even for a second. Our house is prayed over, sanctified, purified, made holy unto the Lord , and is anointed by the Holy Spirit with oil. No weapon formed against us will remain! I hate that Christians get sad that they can't have any part in any of the holidays. What's worse, you getting sad or you grieving the Holy Spirit for disobeying Him?
This is just my two cents! Feel free to ignore. In terms of holidays, for some of them I think a lot of it is about where your heart is and how you’re glorifying God with it. Personally I don’t know if there is a way to celebrate Halloween and glorify God. Milena and Jordan talked about Halloween on their podcast and how they are choosing to treat it (not ignoring it, but turning it around to glorify God). I truly don’t believe you have to give up Christmas and Easter to glorify God. You just have to greatly consider how you celebrate and where your heart is in all of it. Easter as an example - my husband and I chose not to do chocolate at all. We decorate for springtime (simple flowers and ribbons). When our kids are old enough they’ll join an Easter egg hunt with their friends, but for us that’s not important. We choose to wash each others feet and have a Maundy Thursday meal (the day before Good Friday) and have communion, as Jesus did with his disciples. It’s become such a special, holy day that starts off the Easter period. As for Christmas, we’re still figuring that out. Christmas can be an incredible time to invite friends to church, round to dinner and to give gifts that bless others from a place of true Christian generosity. It can also be a time to teach our children thankfulness and their own sense of giving (giving to those in need, blessing others with gifts/food). And most importantly, such a significant time of waiting and drawing near to Christ. Personally, I think eschewing holidays altogether is quite a super-fundamentalist, overly-religious way of doing things because we aren’t called to be OUT of the world, we’re called to be IN the world, just not OF it. Isolating yourself during festivals seems a waste when you could be out there using the festive period to glorify God and point people to Jesus. Celebrating Christmas doesn’t have to look like how the world does it, just how you and your family feel called to celebrate. However, if that’s what you and your family are feeling convicted to do, then that is beautiful and glorifying to God too.

Please please please do a video (and lots of videos) on mentoring, discipling, and all things homeschool & discipline. I respect and look up to you so much. I have an almost 4 year old and a 1 year who is one week older than Avangeline. We homeschool. I came from an authoritarian, legalistic household and definitely need tips and tricks on how to parent in a Biblical, gentle, manner.

So listening to the talk about the lip filler and changing the way you look, do you think makeup is the same? Like we should be showing our kids they don't need to change anytime to look or feel pretty and beautiful and done up?
I know you asked her, but I thought I’d add my thoughts. I think they’re different because makeup can be used in moderate amounts to enhance natural beauty temporarily, while plastic surgery or body modifications such as lip fillers change your appearance in a way you can’t just wipe off at the end of day. It’s definitely more drastic, and therefore your kids seeing you go to such lengths can potentially be discouraging to them. Idk, maybe I’m wrong but that’s why I see them differently
I know you were asking Milena, but I’ll throw in my two cents. I used to LOVE makeup. I loved the artistry of it, and would always do super detailed looks. Since becoming a mother, I have felt convicted to just apply makeup that enhances my features. I still wear makeup but not nearly as much, and I’ve really just started using staples. I frequently go out without makeup on, and my husband compliments me when I don’t have makeup on. I tell my daughter as soon as she’s awake that she is beautiful, and also when she has her hair done and a cute outfit on. I’m trying to instill in them that it’s okay to take pride in your appearance and take time to make yourself look nice- but beauty is God-given and it comes from within.
I personally think moderation is key. I see extreme amounts of makeup as vanity and a waste of time and money. Otoh being legalistic and mandating zero makeup is another extreme. I think the whole "you only better" or whatever that movement was toward a more natural look was good. This may be generalizing, but I've noticed as women grow in godliness, they often ditch the fake nails and lashes, start dressing more modestly, etc (eta:I love the trend toward going gray, wearing dresses, long hair, showing your freckles, and just generally going more feminine and natural.)

I'd say it entirely depends on how the makeup is used and each individual's conviction.
You have become such a positive spiritual influence in my life, and I just had to share that God is really using you. I feel such conviction from the Holy Spirit when listening to you! We could definitely be friends if we lived closer 😂

Milena, I have been following your channel for many years now. I just want to say how the work that the Lord has done in you in the most recent time has been such a blessing and powerful testimony to witness. I remember wondering why you’d post scripture at the beginning of your videos, because it didn’t seem like you were led by the Holy Spirit at that time. Nonetheless, I liked your personality and content so I continued watching your videos. The transformation that has happened before our eyes of you becoming not only a strong woman of God, but a leader and evangelist is undeniable. You have truly become a Titus 2 woman, which is something I have needed and have prayed about for a long time, since I don’t have any in my personal life. The radical shift in your content is so life giving and truly feels like this has become your ministry- of course after your role as a wife, mother, and all of your other personal God-given roles. I’m so thankful that God turned this platform into something that is so honoring and glorifying to Him in many ways, including your thoughtful advice and studies you prepare for your audience to not only leave challenged, but to be encouraged in a loving and sisterly-friend approach.
I would understand and respect why you’d want to take steps back from UA-cam for the best interest of you and your family. If that’s what the Lord is calling you to do, then you must follow and obey Him. However, I will say you will be sorely missed. Please share the women/ platforms that you would recommend to have similar content to yours, because your content has been a much needed and unexpected blessing to me as a wife, a mother, and most importantly, a daughter of the King 🤍 Be blessed, sister 🙏🏼☺️
