This is first and foremost a really good motor glider for FPV as well as LOS and like any aircraft it's performance potential is relative to the pilot's skill level so before you knock it fly it well first and shut the motor off for a few hours. It's also an amazing RC aircraft with it's hollow core construction making it rather harmless. Great engineering and I hope a second generation follows. It's not that big especially for LOS flying where you need the size to see it. Well done E-Flite....
If you worry about the wing plugs they is a small hole in them put some fishing line or thread thru them and loop that thru the battery wire, and vola you cant lose um! I throw mine powered up nice smooth and flat following thru so you hand goes down.super fun plane, and flys well in all sorts of wind.
Hi Mate, many thanks...Mine arrives on Friday from a South Australia hobby shop as hard to get here in Melbourne due to Christmas. I imaging that there is nothing to do (other than the general things) on the DX6 if flying in safe, but not sure on the setting up on ASX switch....any ideas as fairly new to the hobby. Regards
Bought one of these not long ago where the motor sits it has broken looking at it its not a really good finished real shame a lot of money in the bin. Les someone knows if it can be fix in anyway or they change it at all.

Great video! If flies so smooth! What TX are you using and how far can you go? For long range, which TX do you recommend?

Great video! Was a pleasure to watch it. Thank you.
I have several planes from horizon. Been looking at fpv but just can’t bare to pop for a good one. The goggles are $$$ for a good one.

DroNerd yes you can. buy the pnp version you wont have the AS3X or safe modes with the flaky thou.
Nice! I'm trying to decide between this and the FT Night Radian...
Thanks for that launch part! It was the only part i was concerned about! Looks like a purchase! :D
