Abelhawk funny how no one seemed to mind Mannoroth not having a beard in the Orc campaign’s closing cinematic in Warcraft III, or the pitlords not having beards in WoW Burning Crusade and the proceeding expansions.
I think the Dark Ranger could have been a little better. Probably in terms on gear and animation but she's fine. Also she needs a better smoke and glow effect.
Is it just me or does the Pit Lord look weird? He doesn't look that scary anymore, almost looks like some kind of a bad guy from How To Train Your Dragon or something like that...
The same could be said about the Pitlord (literal demon, highranking at that, of the Burning Legion), the Dark Ranger (undead and pretty much limited only to Sylvanas or her entourage) and the Seawitch (Queen Azshara desires to sample modern beverages?). Really, of all the neutral heroes only the Brewmaster has any reason to be found in a tavern.
Because Tavern heroes are just non-canonical heroes which is a re-used models of existing heroes in lore. To separate them from the lore, and avoid confusion, I think these changes are good enough. Dun worry. The original heroes we all love and hate are still maintaining their iconic looks.

On top of them just fucking up the MDX model compatibility making many models from wc3 classic and assets made by fans for it not load or get broken and even if it does load it looks ugly and dark and stands out because they had to fuck with way game renders them.
They make us throw away 15 years worth of communitys creations because of how retarded and clueless they are, thinking like only thing there is IS melee or official cmapaigns, when they are ruining tousands of older maps and campaigns, and making all assets either not work or look terrible, to a point that i think its all on purpose.
I kinda loved the hair in the Sea Witch, I know she must be different from Vash but I miss that, the Dark Ranger looks good, I would love a bigger cape and the attack seems weird but I like it. Pandaren is just my favorite from the bunch, Fire Lord and Pit Lord are well, interesting? Alchemist and Tinker I can get behind them, Beast Master I miss the bear hoodie like he looks good but I miss that detail from a reg orc/ogre.
I think they all look great... but I hate the new Dark Ranger animations. I prefer the crouched stance of the old one and and the running and shooting look weirder.
Agreed, the beastmaster is easily the most well done and badass model out of all of these, even if I do like the Lava spawns too despite them not looking like real fire creatures and more like undead creatures
@@onholyservicebound1415 They made a separate rexxar model instead, so the beast master has its own model, and Rexxar has his own model. They've done that for all "named" heroes that have a unnamed counter part, so the dark ranger looks different from Sylvanas, for example.
Not really. He look's like normal Mok'nathal, you can easily compare the two in videos. People are just unfamiliar with normal Mok'nathal design other than Rexxar and it's actually the first working model besides Rexxar that shows us these half-breeds..

Looks like 2nd variations of pandaren spirits are for Chen. Check the faces and fur color. First variations match with tavern brewmaster, others look like Chen
All in all, I like the models with only a few exceptions. I am going to miss the blue ogre, naga sea witch's hair, and brewmaster's hat, storm form got to keep his and I am super happy that he did, but their updated models look great to me. However... That beastmaster hero... No mask, lost the fur cape, and replaced an axe with a dagger/short sword type weapon... Maybe its just me but its the only model for the tavern heroes I just can't get behind. Really, the weapon change doesn't bother me as much as the mask and cape do.

I like the detail of carrying an ax and a knife, it gives a more wild air. The Dark Ranger, very intimidating, but with some elegance, I don't deny that. The 2 heroes goblins, without very good complaints. Although I liked the design of the Tinker more. The Firelord .... It seems more a demon than an elementary ... Although it was one of my favorites because it killed units with a lot of life like the Tauren or the Giants ... The perfect Pandarens, just like the Pitlord.
Regarding the Sea Witch, she got the same problem as the whole Naga race currently : Their tales got no details at all, they are like weak plastic snakes, there is not enough details. They are not royal and powerful looking enough. I may even say : Where the fuck are their fins ? How are they supposed to swin with such tails?
GIVE US SOMETHING RECOGNIZEABLE! OLD WC3: heroes and units stand out from the background because of their lighting, color AND exagerrated WIDE bodies REFORGED: lighting and colorwise everything blends in, and the bodies are so thin and tall - they look great from closeup, but from above? m8, this games supposed to be played from an angled top down view it's like blizzard forgot what exactly it was, that made wc3 so good and recognizeable.

Like, in original, you can clearly tell at a glance what unit is it and whom does it belong to, because they have a large team color presence, and generally the same pallete for the rest of the body. Good luck figuring it out now, since each unit is like a walking xmas tree.

I've been really excited to see the Dark Ranger - my fav WC 3 character, looks kinda like the Diablo 3 Demon Hunter, doesn't she? I kinda like it. Always hated capes. Although the way she looks, it might be they intend to add the cape later, like they did with the demon wings.
Yeah, you miss something to note, strange you never noticed the Tavern on some of the many skirmish maps, where you can hire any of those heroes that will replace the ones you have by default with the selected race
Watching these videos makes my impatience go far above the clouds, I need to see the final product God dammit!! 😂 I know these aren't the final versions done, in many of the units shown, but man, how many years do I have to feel waiting in these two months till the game comes out? Please Blizzard, I hope they make the Reforged version justice to one of his best games by far, Starcraft 2 was amazing, Warcraft 3 Reforged have to be the same or better if possible

Quite a tragedy, that the Tarvern Sea Witch no longer has her snake hair. Oh and, for whatever reason, the Ogre the Alchemist rides is no longer blue. I find that unfortunate, as the transition from blue to purple was a notable feature of the Alchemist.

1:14 take a deep look into this image. In the left we can see a good polished build model with a limited color pallet and a very poor light source. In the rigth we can see a low poly build model with a more detailed ground (can blend better over the world ground textures LOL)
model still has animations to be added, look there is no attack animation , so most likely its still not finished and color for the transormation is to be added

I've played Warcraft 3 a few times and I have *never* seen some of these heroes and units. I've even played the multiplayer mode, mostly offline, and I've still never seen them.
All the guys here are strictly bought from Frozen Throne's map features known as Taverns (the first thing in the vid.) As you have up to four choices of heros most people tend to go for the ones that come from your version of the Hall of Heroes, but personally I do kinda like some of the heroes that came from the tavern. Goblin Tinker in particular's a personal fave. So the reason for not seeing these guys before is A: AI don't often go for these heroes already, B: most competitive types online won't use them that often too, and C: of course, what is meta for now may also factor that into play as well. It's hard to deny that some heroes like the Brewmaster are a bit wonky with how their focused, and while with the right amount of time some can get insane, the same could be said for something like an Archmage or Lich already.

Imabubble yay Chen is already a separate unit in the game. I would say Taran Zhu skin for brewmaster would be pretty dope, just like Jaina daughter of the sea skin for archmage and Thrall shaman skin for farseer.
Possibly because this are unoficiall footage of the game, many units shown in the channel will look weird, without animations, portrait or weird animations and portraits because they are unfinished in most of the cases, the only real thing we get on these videos are the models who are likely the version we will see in the game, though, I want to see the Night Elves and Undead units models, but probably they will be revealed by ourselves when the game comes out 😧

Chen is already a separate unit in the game. I would say Taran Zhu skin for brewmaster would be pretty dope, just like Jaina daughter of the sea skin for archmage and Thrall shaman skin for farseer.

Why did some character portraits have their orientation reversed?
Possibly because this are unoficiall footage of the game, many units shown in the channel will look weird, without animations, portrait or weird animations and portraits because they are unfinished in most of the cases, the only real thing we get on these videos are the models who are likely the version we will see in the game, though, I want to see the Night Elves and Undead units models, but probably they will be revealed by ourselves when the game comes out 😧
I wish garithos and akama can be tavern heroes.
