I like the fact all units had new models instead of be a copy paste of the same but the things that bother me is that for certain models they didnt respect certain details, the hypogryph in reforge looks like a friking pet instead of a wild animal that later on get tamed to be a mount
True, and that's about what they did right other than that. And I did seen some of them was a direct copy of the main campaign heros.
Yeah, hyppogryph bad design, didn't respect overall details and colors scheme like you said.
Plus the new model's back was too arched. The posture was a bit incorrect.

I think you were using Maiev's model comparison Instead of the regular Warden. The main difference in the original WC3 TFT is that the normal warden has no neck (floating head)
Glad they made the Chimaeras look like they AREN'T struggling to stay airborne, the old ones felt like they were land-bound creatures that were only recently given wings.

Illidan morphed...Does anyone else find this disappointing? I mean it looks fine and all,but I remember the fact that I couldn't see his features as pretty intimidating,cause his demon form was completely devoured by the darkness. The fact that he just looks a bit more spooky now bugs me.

Also the old meta-Illidan used both demonic hands to attack, using his entire upper body into it. Meanwhile, the new one just uses one hand to attack. Its less menacing!

Абсолютно нет. Многие юниты выглядят невзрачно или перенесены невнятно. Отсутствует трейдмарка панды на глевах Иллидана, да и файлах игры его пасхальное лого ведущего художника изменено на ... ну, такОЕ лучше гуглить, а не словами.
Так что, нет, художники были не те же самые. Во всяком случае не легендарный художественный редактор.
Такое ощущение, что взяли наработки вова и хотса и попытались максимально подтянуть полигоны, при этом не обращая внимание на подачу. Это и вызвало эффект неприязно у олдов, потому что красиво, но очень отторгающе.
И ведь не ясно - ЧТО мешало передать мультяшность оригинала? ДОТА 2 лучше передаёт её(ибо основана на ней), чем Рефоржд. До красоты уровня Анрил 5 и фанатов - не дотягивает. До уровня вкуса оригинала - тоже нет.
Но зато джиггл добавили, и за то спасибо.

it`s kinda retcon. Skin should be pale and tattoos in nondemonic form - black. But today Blizzard doesn`t care about 10000 years Illidan spent in darkness. They just need money, and their funboys buy every shit Blizzard release. That`s it
Actually, Blizzard doesn`t care about warcraft lore and details since release of World of Warcraft in 2004. Well, or since TBC in 2007, cause Classic at least didn`t retcon lore facts of previous games.

They did but it's pretty much the same as the riding one except without the mount.

Reforged is filled with mistakes, but the models definetly aren't a part of those
The models aren't enough to make us forget the fact that it's a crappy remake. All their faces look the same and they look emotionless.
