Wow, I didn't realize dumping bikes like this was a thing. I had a 2003 zx9r stolen and dumped in a large creek/stream here in the US. The bike was brand new. I had just received the plate for it when it was stolen and then destroyed. :(

Cool crane set-up ! Maybe get some tubing that would slip over and extend the existing tubes for better leverage. Probably only need one guy to stand on em, eh ?

Blimey! Gareth some of those were a right struggle to get out, I'm sweating & straining just watching you guys grapple with those motorbikes. These make for great videos but it makes you wonder about these clowns who dump them in the canals what little they care about the environment they live in!!!

That yellow quad was a Suzuki lt50, a clean on of these can fetch about 1k
No he’s right, a decent condition genuine LT50 can drag in about a grand.
Nice collection.
Have you thought about putting legs on that hoist in the back side so that it doesn't tip over so easily? Ones that could slide in a track, or square opening that holds the square bar in place... like what the front does.
Just bought my first magnet kit with hook gloves and line. Cant wait to get started this week.

What happened to alot of these bikes did you scrap them in or claim them after no one came forward
most where stolen and police had them recovered and insurance company has them or some got took by scrap men the ones i found in kent

You need extendable outriggers on that crane and 2 cables on the rear at say 80°angle from each other attached at the top of the static part of the crane where the arm pivots from and then stake them out behind the crane with steel rods into the soil at an angle.

We can go in the water but wearing waders would be dangerous because they will fill with water

Not sure how it works there but for the most part in the US if the insurance company or owner of the property doesn't get it in 90 days you have a right to it. Just in case the police haven't been informing you since many insurance companies won't even pay the money to retrieve these bikes from the cops.

Hi I recently purchased a magnet from Amazon as me and my son watch you all the time. But the one we bought says it can lift up to 300kg but couldn't even lift a mountain bike. Was wondering your best suggestion for a good starter kit thanks love watching your videos

Considering that one drop of oil can pollute 100 litres of water... One motorbike leaking engine oil, brake fluid, and whatever else into a river or canal is going to seriously mess up the water quality for many years
