Not used to seeing Yan without her motorbike. It goes back to her old days when she first started. You can get some tips from her on how to make a phenomenal drone video and incorporated it into your video. Her drone video is phenomenal. Still it's good to see both of you together.

Thank you Katherine, this video brought back some wonderful memories for this old Aussie. I first went to Hangzhou in 2009 for a company training function over several day. One night we went to Westlake to see the water ballet (it was called Impression Westlake if I recall) - it was so very beautiful, absolutely mesmerising.
A year later I took my family (wife & 2 young boys) to China for 2 weeks visiting Beijing, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Shanghai. In Hangzhou we visited the Dragon Wall Tea Plantation and, of course, we had to visit Westlake water ballet again. My wife really loved it. Our trip was truly memorable, My boys loved the Maglev train in Shanghai. I have maintained my interest in China ever since.
Your videos are entertaining, educational and provide great insight to one of my favourite countries.

Can attest to the practice of drinking something hot on hot day or even after a run. Did that in my youth as after cross country run , nothing helps like a glass of warm barley water. Good tour and show and tell👍👍👍

I grew up near 大马弄。left in mid 1980s for college. The city has completely changed. West Lake used to be a lake at city’s west edge, where it gets the name from. Now it’s a lake within the city. With so many tourists everywhere, it’s no longer as tranquil as I remembered. Having said that, I am very happy that the city and the lake could be enjoyed by so many more people now than half century ago.

Xinjiang also has very good places. For example, there are very few mosquitoes, the fruits are particularly large, and there are forests, grasslands, and snow-capped mountains similar to those in North America.

Chinese in the Mainland are obsessed with drinking hot water! Actually more and more people abroad are also adopting this healthy habit! I for one.
I could never understand why my parents always drank hot water. But since my 30s I have now adopted this habit and can't live without my hot water to start the day!
