This is DEFINITELY on my list. Using the link you provided, looked at a # of other Pagani watches that just look AMAZING and well built. Also loved that this one has a Seiko movement. Love me some Seiko... Thanks.
Oh, absolutely! The screw down pushers really caught me off guard. I wish the camera was rolling when I stumbled across that...completely lost my sh*t! 😂
It's a solid watch! Legibility can be challenging from a distance, because of the thin handset, but it falls in line with a great looking sport watch though. I'll bet you're going to love it! Flat link bracelets are one of my favorites, too.
Great vid, great shots as always. I agree with you, such a great value for the money. I've come to expect great execution for the price coming from Pagani, I have some of their chronos and i havent got any issues with them so far. Anyways, thanks for the review, keep it up !
Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, this is one of those watches that wouldn’t really appeal to me much, but then you see it in person and the wow factor is over the top, especially for the price. This is one of my favorite bracelet types too!
Yeah, unfortunately AliExpress is all over the place. I'll bet you'll see the price lower during the sale, but even at $55 I wouldn't cry! I like the blue too!
@@WatchWitt I hate to be "influenced" but, I did order the blue one. I mean for $55...geez....I like these brushed bezels and I bought another weird chinese watch with the same feature.
@1vegasdood If I turn you on to a cool band I like, just enjoy the music...doesn't matter how you found out about them! This is all just an adult version of show and tell! 😂
I bought one a week ago! you can turn those screws!, 4 were off but a screw driver works fine, sadly i think those were not stainless, maybe zinc alloy screws with how easy they dent
Really? I gave it the slightest bit of pressure, just to be careful, and it didn't budge. It also left a mark from digging in, though small. I just figured they're glued in. I have a hard time believing those are threaded holes and screws!
@Account-ku1kf I'll bet they're glued. I can't imagine a watch of this price they would machine that bezel for threads, and the alignment probably wouldn't be this close. I gave it a try and also got some small damage, so I decided it was better to just live with it a little out of whack!
@@WatchWitt That is nice looking one, I was thinking about buying it. But here is a problem with Pagani. Price was quite high and their reputation of weak lume and hit or miss quality don't help when you see higher brands like Cronos, Thorn, Sugess for not much more.
@Sicarius888 True. I feel like they're trying to experiment with that higher price point. But their game seems to be better in this $50 - $120 range, because of what you mention---competition does it just a little better. They really need to improve the lume game to compete. Seems to be one of the only things bringing them down.
Ya Witt- I expect pagani, cadisen & San Martin to lead in 2025- I wonder what the Yen to Dollars r? Btw lots of wailing n gnashing of teeth in SF today. Pelosi especially😂🎉
Right?! But what happens if you make a LOT of them and they don't sell? These were originally priced higher. Crazy though, when you start thinking about the cost of each component (like the movement alone!) and then realize these are under $50 USD! If this were a universal bracelet, you could charge $50 just for it!
@WatchWitt or maybe zero returns or even a loss? In my line of work we market products knowingly at a loss and absorb the total loss into our marketing budget as a form of advertising. Maybe the brand has enough money to do that and effectively develop loyalty by selling cheap and just focus on getting it on people's wrists? Mental though at $50 but at the end of the day the buyer is the winner 🥇
@walkaroundwatches Yeah, I was going to say maybe at a loss, but didn't want to get too deep in the woods and theory....and then you did! 😂 Interesting theory you have. That could explain why/how they put out SO many pieces. Maybe at the end of the day, it's a model quantity thing--try to appeal to as many customers as you can? I mean, we've come to the realization that quantity of sales is the only logical answer to how they make money. Somebody else stumbled upon the thought that currency conversion is key too. They might not make the same revenue on a domestic sale.
If only they had a better logo and less name branding.. that’s what wrong with Chinese clone watches. Beside that, the quality on this watch looks great! 🤷🏻♂️
Hard to see in the video, but the tip of it (where the logo is) has an octagon shape, but the knurling is traditional. I think it's the best of both worlds...the knurling looks good and is easy to grab!
When you don’t clock the screws on the bezel of your watch, you have failed. This watch is a fail. Could the dial be busier? They even used a white background on the date display. Hey! Look at me! Minnie Pearl would have worn this watch. Add to that ‘look at me’ factor is the waffle iron dial which manages to look dull and cheap. Hard pass on this watch that aims high, but misses in the most obvious and prominent ways.
All great points! But at some point you to have to factor in the $49 price tag when weighing pros and cons. Are there other Chinese manufactured watches in this price range with better results? Well, yes, and even automatic movements! I wasn't even attracted to this watch initially, but it looks great in person, and won me over. There will be many that don't care for the looks of this watch, and some that like it. Love your analysis from the viewpoint of the former...thanks for watching and commenting!
@@WatchWitt as I mentioned in an earlier post that got disappeared, Pagani makes good ones, and they screw up on others. They screwed this one up, and no price is too little to pay for it.
I really can't see kids doing precision work like watch making. It's easy to make shoe manufacturing jokes, but most of the Chinese watches that we're fans of are not part of the bad connotation "Made in China. In fact, I would say Chinese watch making is one of the foremost industries trying to turn that image around. They are gaining ground and respect quickly. An homage watch is not the best example, but there is still a great deal of quality being showcased, regardless of price.
Great presentation! Love the mechaquartz chronos. Underrated imho.
Me too! Very accurate, and there's great interaction with them. Thanks for the kind words!
I just got mine today. It’s better then $500 clone. I’m truly amazed.
Yes, this one caught me off guard, as most of the good Pagani's do! I don't want to know how you know about the $500 clone!😂
Since the speed master homage it feels like pagani have really stepped up their game. Thanks for the look.
I get the same feeling. Crazy all they offer in this watch for that price!
This is DEFINITELY on my list. Using the link you provided, looked at a # of other Pagani watches that just look AMAZING and well built.
Also loved that this one has a Seiko movement. Love me some Seiko...
Thanks.
This Seiko movement is solid. I have another Pagani with the VK63 movement that has come in at +/- 0.0 spd after a little over a year!
@@WatchWitt Good to know. To focus on the Seiko movements, I don't see on the AE site where it shows that even in the details.
Where can I see that?
I don't see it in there either. Some listings are thorough, some are not.
This gives all other brands no excuses for cutting corners
Well, to be fair, PD cuts corners in the lume department....but, yeah, I get what you're saying!
@ but they can put a sapphire glass with screw down pushers on a $50 watch is crazy
Oh, absolutely! The screw down pushers really caught me off guard. I wish the camera was rolling when I stumbled across that...completely lost my sh*t! 😂
Great looking watch, and a steal at that price.
It really is! The bracelet stands out as being well over this price range.
The quality is really good. I have already purchased it and I am looking forward to receiving it🥰
It's a solid watch! Legibility can be challenging from a distance, because of the thin handset, but it falls in line with a great looking sport watch though. I'll bet you're going to love it! Flat link bracelets are one of my favorites, too.
Awesome review Witt 👏 Fantastic watch for the money. Can't ask for more.
It's solid too. And screw down pushers? That really surprised me!

Thanks Witt. Great looking watch at a can't beat price. Have a great day.😇
No doubt! Another surprise value piece from Pagani.
I've had my eye on this one. Appreciate the review!
They sure did a nice job on it! The screws on the bezel might be the only fault...and that's nitpicking.
I am showing $55??? Love your reviews Witt....I might seriously pick this up and the blue colorway is the nicest IMHO.
Yeah, unfortunately AliExpress is all over the place. I'll bet you'll see the price lower during the sale, but even at $55 I wouldn't cry! I like the blue too!

Pagani chronos look like a different company. Nice quality for cheap price while their mechanicals often had quality issues.
I've got the Spirit Zulu Time homage with the NH34 GMT movement and that thing is solid too, and looks sharp! No issues. Lume is terrible, though.
@@WatchWitt That is nice looking one, I was thinking about buying it.

Same here!

Yes, Cadisen and San Martin have really been upping their game! $1 USD = just over 7 CNY right now.
wow..thats a good buy.
Definitely. Great movement, nice case and bracelet, clean dial, and 200m WR....screw down pushers!
It’s brilliant.
The timex is $200
Good point!
What an absolute steal. Makes you think that a policy of mass production and low margins will seemingly yield strong returns.

I like their logo! I'm with you on the signature....my favorite dials from them are logo only. And this applied logo is a nice touch.
They should have copied the fully hexagonal crown of the original.

I can tell you feel strongly about it. And here I thought I've been harsh on them for a poor lume game!
Too bad that prices are more expensive in euros...Aliexpress doesn't present new models in certain European countries...Where is freedom of choice?
Ahhhhh bummer! Well, maybe you can find one second hand, if someone orders but decides to sell....
Child labour
Hope not!
