Hey bro, just wanna say that I really enjoyed this video! The watch looks great, I’d call it “washed denim” as the dial reminds me of my favourite denim jacket that has faded over the years. Appreciate you bro, thanks for the cool vid!
Ignore the hater and the so called critics, it looks good and at the end of the day it’s just a watch no matter how costly or inexpensive it is as long as it can tell the time and is satisfactory to you then all is well. Great job man
@edmerpaulubongen9514 yeah don't worry, I'm not butthurt, just find it interesting how people have to comment so much negativity when it's just a watch hahaha it's not that deep! Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment my friend!
With the seconds hand, I recommend getting right down to eye level with the movement so you can see the pinion. It helps me tremendously when installing the seconds hand.
Great watch great build! I recently built my first watch (Yatch Master 2 Homage) it took me around 3 hours as well and the same issue with the second hand took the longest to do. The amount of words that flew around the room and minor rage quits I got it on. One thing I will say that I wasnt aware of the NH35 has a little cap to protect the second hands stem that needs to be removed, I didn't realise until something small fell off and when I tried to set it again it went straight on. I hope that helps someone here.
A good tip I was shown is when you’re ready to install the second hand press the crown in and get it running. I use rodico to hold the hand some use tweezers rest it on the pinion if the hand moves around you know you got it on then use the hand press to fit it
I recently also completed my very first watch build. If you're planning to do more of those I recommend a movement holder to keep any unnecessary pressure off of the movement when pressing in the hands. If you have access to a 3d printer it's pretty easy to print one of those.
Nice work, nice vid. I’ve done several so I’d like to add a couple pointers, but first, don’t feel bad, the seconds hand is the hardest by far! 1) Make sure all the hands are parallel to the dial and each other. (2) This method will not make a watch that is actually water tight do be careful (if you don’t believe me but it in a glass of water for a while and see, realize there’s no pressure there). (3) Change your rodico often, it gets dirty/greasy and can make a mess. (4) Clean, clean, clean, the dial and inside the crystal often and clean them again before you close it up. It’s very frustrating when you’ve spent hours on a build and close it up only to find the one crappy piece of lint on the face or underside of the crystal. 😊
thanks for the pointers. what can I do to water tight to prevent water entering into the dial? and ofcourse, I did clean the dial often I think I just didn't mention it enough! thank you for the tips I found them very helpful
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the AMZWATCH has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
great job building this watch, its looking decent, i liked the fluted bezel. one day when you're able to appreciate the quality of a grand seiko you will understand why its so embarassing to see a gs logo on your custom built watch.

Hey Koto, it looks pretty neet, Congrats!! I'll love to make my own sterile piece but didnt find yet a case under 12mm to fit in a NH movement. Drop me a pill to choose one under 12mm for my vintage thin king seiko 1970s style watch. ❤

I am not really a watch guy, but I saw this interesting Daytona chronograph design, where they have transparent only three small chronograph dials. I wonder is it even possible to find a dial like that?
You know you just made a fake. LOL it looks great!!!! I just completed my first watch build a few months ago and the seconds hand was a bitch. It to me 45 minutes to get it on and yes I broke one. That tiffany blue dial is stunning.
i wanted a sterile dial 😪 its okay, my next build will be sterile, the seconds hand don't want to budge until you have a tantrum and come back afterwards haha! thank you for watching
Decent job for a first timer. Next time you may want to exercise more discipline not to touch around even with your finger gloves on. You can smear dirt and grease onto the dial from those as well. Replace the finger glove when it's dirty.
How does the quality of the parts compare to watches from aliexpress, like a San Martin? Do those companies use these kind of parts or are they not up to the same quality of the brands?
@danieljennings9015 I would say the level of finishing for the parts is less than san martin, the case feels not the best and would need to purchase the best. the bracelet feels a bit sharp however, as far as the dial, hands and movement goes, it's the same I would say
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the AMZWATCH we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake

I love the idea building an homage watch but i give off the wrong feeling when you put a counterfeit dial with a brand on it. Especially one as coveted as GS. It kinda of seems like wearing an expensive watch just so people will think you are cool. Again, I love homage builds, but this seems more like trying to get something cheap and passing it off as expensive.
Looks cheap, especially the fluted bezel. When it is too shiny, it doesn't look luxurious at all. I get it why people to this. They don't have the money to buy the real thing and the joy and pride that it brings in building their own watch, but at the end of the day, it is a fake and you're just kidding yourself and others! I wouldn't ever buy an outright fake because that doesn't allign with me, by building it adds a memory and value to me and I just don't treat it the same as a fake :) wear what you want at the end of the day man, your opinion is your opinion
@cougarbatterie honestly mate it's not a justification I'm happy with it man, I couldn't care less about what you think. If you don't like the build, keep moving about your day.
