I mean, seriously, can anyone think of a multi-grammy winning band that would have continued after the front man gets that kind of injury? Just finished the book a week ago. Despite the tragedies and difficulties, Dave has lived a truly charmed life. Fortunately, I can think of nobody more deserving of it...

He breakes his leg and says I am so sorry...I love this man
Rewatching this video in 2022. I remember when this happened. I went to see the Foo Fighters when they came to England in september 2015 and Dave sat in a throne that moved up, down, left and right across the stage. Nevertheless, it was magical. I was scheduled to see the FooFighters again this December, this time in New Zealand since I moved here, but the devestating news of Taylors passing has crushed me. Although the Foo Fighters will probably not contiue, we need to make sure that Taylors spirit never dies. Keep rocking wherever you are man. We all love you so much.
This video is the only thing that should be posted on the Wikipedia page of 'Rockstar'.
Pál-Szabó András you mean God?
Dave isn’t a rockstar. He’s a musician. The man said it himself.
Or sid Wilson breaking both heels and finishing the show before going to the hospital
I just started discovering foo fighters few days before and the more i come to know about Dave the more i am amazed.
@Brian W it's more about the personality than what they believe, dumb people can be good people too.
Watching this in 2020, just freakin inspiring man! This man knew people payed to see them play, and it ain't the Foo with out Dave. So, "tape me up Doc!" and out back he goes to give the people what they paid for. Thanks for putting this video up, made me smile in quarantine.
"looking to the sky to save me
Looking for a sign of life
Looking for something to help me burn out bright!
Looking for a complication
Looking cause I'm bored of lying
I just broke my leg, so I learn to fly high!"
One of the coolest moments in Foo Fighters history. We miss you Taylor
He was in so much pain he started talking like a black man hahaah.
optimisticcosmic LOL! It was starting to seem like I was the only one who noticed until I read your comment. Dat shit was crazy az fuck son. So soulful. HAHAHA. but really they did a great job.
optimisticcosmic ....thought he sounded a bit like a southern evangelist.
optimisticcosmic DAVE could join WWE Wrestlemania to fight with Triple H ..
optimisticcosmic /cajun
maybe black people are in a lot of pain then. :/
Had never been a huge Foo Fighters fan at all. The visited our town w/ Mumford & Sons and Dave blew me away. Far and away the best performer I have ever seen. Class act.
The paramedic stabilizing Dave's leg while he plays 'Under Pressure' and 'Learn To Fly' before being taken to the hospital's got a hell of an epic story to tell his grandkids one day!
Dave Grohl is a blessing to us all. Amazing person, amazing artist. I love the Foo Fighters and I love Nirvana. Dave Grohl is so talented, he’s so committed, and he does so much for his fans. What an awesome guy haha.
Dave has always been a class act. Seriously an amazing guy.
Regardless of what you think of Foo Fighters music, you have to admire Grohl's dedication to performing and not letting his fans down. Respect x
One of the most legendary moments in rock history. True proof that the show must go on.
The way Taylors face lights up when Dave comes back.....RIP Taylor
Dave Grohl is one of my favorite artists. This just gave me even more respect for him
This just goes to show what an amazing band they really are..
They really are.....I feel the synergy.
Pat Smear is a true friend. I'm a big fan of them since nirvana.
for whatever reason I never was a nirvana fan ... neither a foo figther's .... but man I really like dave grohl the man, the individual, the person
I wonder if they gave him a morphine shot for pain, and he was just like " Taaake Mee back out there or you guyyyys are FUCKIN FIRED!!" LOL. Seriously though, what a champ. There's a video of him reuniting with the paramedic who held his leg steady , it's really sweet.
He said in an Swedish interview that he asked his stage manager to "give me like, a cup, of whiskey"
I love how dave says "i think i just broke my leg"
The fact that Dave wanted to fix his broken leg and finish the show no matter what shows how amazing a person and performer he is.
as much as I HATE people that record at concerts, I'm glad this was recorded and shared with us.
David Grohl is awesome. I'm putting meeting him on my bucket list right now...
I haven't smiled so much over a video
this moment will be remembered forever in music history that the "show must go on"! our kids shall know their legends!
What a star. I don't think there is anyone else that would have come back.
OMG I just read this in his book. This is a badass moment for sure 😎
Every once in a while I come back to this video and cry of joy
So beautiful moment
Dave Grohl is the epitome of what it means to be a rock star.
