I have a similar unit made by Joolca. I recommend mounting it inside your building and running the propane line outside. If you leave the unit outside, the coils remain full of water in-between use and will freeze and burst when the temps fall.
Yea, i drained it as soon as I'm done, and i made a cover for it. Hopefully, it works out this winter. Next summer, i plan on having a solar roof water heater. How is the joolca working out for you?
Yea, it's definitely not for everyone. I'll tell you one thing, if summer next year is hot as the summer was this year, I may have to relocate. Everything i planted died, even with shade clothe, mulch, and frequent watering

Also, make a cover for the unit since you are mounting it outside! 😁👍👍🇺🇸
Good idea!
Hey man I was just watching your video. Thank you for your service I was in Iraq from 08 to 09 in taji
That's awesome, I love camp taji. Thank you for your service
Long term look into an "instant on" electric water heater, ... when you get your solar array! Keep the gas heater for power outs! 😁👍👍🇺🇸
Great point! That's the plan for 2024.
you can get solar that heats up water put water panels on roof
@@samfish6938 yes but you use most of the hot water at night and the morning, which solar water heaters aren't as good then.
62 freezing😂😂😂. Everyones different, to me thats cool😅
It's mostly hot all year. I think we hit a high of 115° during the summer. 62 is chilly for me 😆. What's the temperature where you're at?
im thinking on buying the 1.3kw electric water Heater from this company.
I woupd love to hear how it works out for you. I was thinking the same
@@southwestoffgrid If i do ill post a video.
I'm pretty garbage at measuring stuff out and being a handyman too, to be honest. Also, we were probably in Iraq at the same time.
Thats crazy if we were. Sometimes people cross paths multiple times in life and never know.it
You picked a difficult location to live.
