They might be small fish but in 10-15years hopefully our children an grandchildren will be catching monsters using the techniques.you and all the pros an u tubers have passed on 😊
You are at least checking checking out new locations at a new time to see how the fish are relating to those locations. The big ones are not there yet, but at least you are not bored. Catching small ones can get exciting. Keep learning new things. Be blessed. My brother.

I went Crappie fishing last week and covered almost 40 miles of river. Caught a ton of everything from Bass to Bluegill to Gar to Drum and White Bass, and even a channel cat, but only 1 undersize Crappie. I would haved loved a mess of Crappie fillets but as long as there is something tugging on my line I am a happy camper😊
You know all those ok fish you been catching are as big or bigger than my personal best just perspective for you i would almost die for a day like that

@mickaburkhart14 oh no I get that my local river is the Arkansas river and it is known for some giants and here I am rocking 14lb blue and a 5lb flat for my pb so I understand man but you are blessed in many ways
Hey man, I know I talk a lot. I just had a question if you don’t mind you referred to it as a mud flat does that mean it’s a flat that is muddy and has a soft bottom and if a flat has a hard bottom then I guess is it just a flat

No your good. But to your question yes. It's a flat with a soft bottom and a hard bottom flat i just call them a flat.
