Awesome flat heads! Not trying to be a jerk but you have 4 of your rods out, with 2 on each side. ( If I'm seeing right). Anyway seems to me that you have the odds in your favor for the fish to hit those rods. Hope that makes sense.

Great video Micka. I'm down at Wheeler and went to the ramp on Friday to check out the river and there was so much trash and logs in the River from Helene runoff that we cancelled our Saturday trip, just not worth a lower unit 😢 They have since dropped the Dam release down to 80k cfs and lowered the river by 3' so hopefully we can get out this week.

Over here on WB, Water is moving, debris everywhere, chocolate milk, and definitely in fall transition. Highly scattered, catch as many deep as you do on the flats. Cmon cooler water.

Living in the Dallas/Ft Worth area of Texas, we don't really have any good rivers to fish. We're still waiting on our lake water temps to get down out of the eighties. I've been able to fish the Tennessee River a couple of times and I miss it! Great video Micka! I love the seeing the joy you get out of each and every fish you catch. It's always a great way to start my morning! Flatheads are so much fun to catch.

Great video, headed over ironside in now. What kind of bobber stop do you use if you don't mind. All the ones I have found slip.

Thanks Micka. I will definitely give them a try. I have always used Amazon 5" clear spooks (Demon Dragon knockoff) that I paint and clear coat, with built in rattle. Problem is they tend to spin due to the eyelet location, and create a line twist mess in moderate to high current. You also end up having 4 knots (knot front and back of spook float), weakening the leader. Tried peg floats but as you pointed out they fall apart. Saw some EVA floats out there but they did not have enough floatation and were hard to find in muted colors. Carolina Keepers would definitely be strong bobber stops, although they are a pain to get on 80lb test line. I am also curious what bobber stops you use. Caught my new personal best 101.79 pound blue on September 7th, 2024 using asian carp on the Missouri River. It's awesome bait as long as it's natural to the body of water that you're fishing.

Thanks for the upload micka. I haven't put my boat in the water since the week before the hurricane. River I fish in went up 8 feet. Did catch a 50 pound blue on a throw line right before the hurricane came so that was fun!

I replaced the bilge pump in the boat and I put a larger one in because it seemed like the original one run constantly and slow! Additionally, we get alot of water in the boat from the kids skiing and tubing! The new pump sounds like a jet engine starting but it keeps the boat water free! We have struggled with the fish here in West Texas! Thanks
