I probably should make a comment like this on a video that features the song rather then a game...but seeing this chart just makes you realize that Neil peart definitely deserves his status as one of the absolutely best drummers in history!!!
Lee, it's amazing performances like this one that makes me think that I can take on the Green Day beats for the only remaining achievement I have left among all of my Rhythm Based Games. Then I try, and try, and try again. I just don't know how you do it. -But, bravo, good sir. Bravo.
You sir, are my favorite ( rock band ) youtuber. Plus, I love the fact that you like / love Rush. :) Because that means more Rush songs played by Ibite for watching :D
im so amazed. i just got this song yesterday... the best ive gotten is 91% so far... great job man, keep up the good work, i love watching you play! ;D
Great video! I loved the stick throw at the end. I hate how you make all songs look so easy lol. Thanks for subscribing btw, I'm honored and feel like I need to do 10x better on every video now haha.
I stopped play Rock Band after the 2nd one. Then I saw some of your videos, and I was like Rock Band was really fun and just bought the 3rd one, and an ION drum set. Thank you for that.
"Date joined Feb 1, 2009" Random ass comment I know, but god has it already been almost 3 years? I still remember the Run to the Hills Fc and subbing to the first ibite channel back in early or mid 08
@Kjas11 alright 1. Rock band came up with the full band idea with the drum track, so they're theoriginal. And 2. It's technically 7 with 4 pads and 3 cymbals. It requires a hell of a lot more coordination differentiating cymbals and pads.
@biscuitpups1998 And if you do Pro mode your blue/green/yellow pads will have a very long shelf life since cymbals are used proportionally more in most songs.
@maredevil1 It's not about what you would rather hear. I don't play my acoustic drumset because I like the sound of drums, I play it because I enjoy playing the drums. I also enjoy playing Rock Band, both are fun.
Hey, there is nice digital-you in the game :). 3:33 smile :P. And I love you're videos, you do theses songs so perfect, timing is just incredible, not like many of RB drummers, even if they play on expert :) (like me, lol). Keep up the good work :). Btw. you really like that much reading comments? :)
I love watching the videos, so keep em coming! I'm sure this has been posted many times; however, do you have a link to your setup? I haven't played in a while, but I have a brand new bass drum practice pad that I could never properly set up with my Rock Pedal and I'm curious how you have yours.
Man those parradiddles (is that what they are called? Can't remember all the terms.) you do with your left hand are still smexy to this day since you the beginning of your RB videos.
Holy crap that was fast! I was going to buy the Rush pack tomorrow and found out that it`s already pro fc`d! It`s ibite though, so should I be surprised?
This is a great song. I had to sell my xbox a few weeks back to pay an unexpected bill :( Makes it kinda hard to watch this because I want to play Rock Band so badly haha. Keep up the good work! Great video
yo ibite! can you maybe do a tutorial on how to play those beats like the ones at 0:40 ? i see rush use it time and time again and i have difficulities getting it right, thanks!
I've subbed after seeing this. I've been practicing this song on and off since it came out, and just can't get the Ride-snare part @ :36. When he switches to the hi-hat snare I can get that alright, but there's something about the way he plays the Ride section that's killin me. My highest no-fail percentage on this is song is 88%. If I could get the Ride section of the verses, I'd be able to finish it finally. Any insight or tip that might help me learn that beat?
@IBitePrettyHardSH How much do you love the little snare/ride double strokes at the start of the chorus? Even if for the sake of Rock Band you play it right handed XD I'm not good enough on drums in real life or RB to even attempt playing it properly, but I can't help using practice mode to play that part over and over XD Also, kudos on another awesome video :-)
Hehe I beat your score :P Really Fantastic job with the FC my good sir. Most impressive FC. And it is very enjoyable to here your sticking. Keep up the good work! I love your videos :)
Just got news that Rush's 2112 is coming to Rock Band on December 31st for XBOX. You think you could make an FC video of that when you have the chance? If so, that would be awesome. Love your videos man.
@biscuitpups1998 Speaking from my experience, your snare drum will lose sensitivity much faster than the rest of your pads because it's used the most. But I'd say you have a couple months of solid use before that happens.
I wish they would put some Porcupine Tree in rockband, well not really i like that they are pretty underground! Great job Lee, i quit playing rockband a long time ago but i still enjoy watching your video's!
Certainly! The key is to treat the beat like you're learning to juggle. Don't start with the whole beat at once...start with 1 or 2 drums, ignoring the others at first. Once you're comfortable, start adding more notes/drums to the mix. :)
You think Neil Peart sat at his drums thinking "how could I make my music impossible to play on videos games in the future?"
+Austin Pitts The funny thing about that is the fact that Rush actually failed one of their songs on expert mode
+DJ Flakes not even on expert lol neil peart played tom sawyer on hard and they failes
+DJ Flakes failed*
Is there a video of that?
Cole Morgan ua-cam.com/video/78KWIRpjKwU/v-deo.html

Had some soliiiid online matches with this dude back in the day. I’ll never forget stealing one on Ride The Lightning on the last few notes.
I want this drum set for RB so bad.
That stick throw at the end lmao.
Awesome as always. I agree with Stephen. The pad noises are magical.
Words can not describe how epic this is.
LyraMakesVideos So epic,
You truly are the greatest pro drummer. You and Sounddefenserb are my favorite pro drummers.

I probably should make a comment like this on a video that features the song rather then a game...but seeing this chart just makes you realize that Neil peart definitely deserves his status as one of the absolutely best drummers in history!!!

-But, bravo, good sir. Bravo.
I listened to you before I had an account on youtube - now subscribed for FCing my favourite rush song
any Rush song fc'd on drums is a life achievement.
Amazing, to say the least! Still one of my favorite drummers to follow after all of these years.
I have 2 final projects due tomorrow, but decided to see what was new on yt. Saw your vid. No regrets. :)
You're an amazing drummer.

wow such skill, so amaze
@tbone0303 It's is called a midi pro adapter. They sell them at electronics stores and the web. Amazon has them for around 30$.
Great video! I loved the stick throw at the end. I hate how you make all songs look so easy lol. Thanks for subscribing btw, I'm honored and feel like I need to do 10x better on every video now haha.

@moviemaniac14 Actually I was thinking of streaming my sightreads of 2112 on the 31st when it comes out. As for an FC, we'll have to see, hehe.

that was awesome. loved the fairly accurate fills
I love how you played the fill at 3:44 just like it's supposed to be :)
@CoolxStoryxBro Thanks, and I appreciate it!
@biscuitpups1998 And if you do Pro mode your blue/green/yellow pads will have a very long shelf life since cymbals are used proportionally more in most songs.
Seen this song live twice. Greatest band of all time: fact.
Fuck off bobandy
more videos , more videos , i want more videos ! good works ;)
That ride groove sounds cool just with the real-life taps.
So glad I'm still subbed. Nice job man!
@maredevil1 It's not about what you would rather hear. I don't play my acoustic drumset because I like the sound of drums, I play it because I enjoy playing the drums. I also enjoy playing Rock Band, both are fun.
Amazing as always
wonderful FC Lee!
Hey man :) haha could you possibly make an update vid? If it's not to much to ask , but any ways really really great fc man , i hope your ok
@biscuitpups1998 You might need replacements after a few months of heavy play with the originals, but being gentle definitely helps a lot, hehe.
Nice! FC already!
#1 on the leaderboards, very very nice.. I'm sure Neil would be proud :)
I love that song
@terataj911 You can use pretty much any electronic drumkit for Rock Band 3, I use an Roland V drumkit.
Anyone that can FC Peart has my respect.
u sir r a master...keep it UP!!!!
awesome as always
Sick dude, Rush is awesome.
Hey, there is nice digital-you in the game :). 3:33 smile :P.

Hey, you should FC caravan by Rush. There are some definite hard and fun parts during and before the solos.
I haven't subscribed to anyone in a while, but I made an exception after seeing this. Can't wait to play it myself. :D
Rush is by far and away one of the best bands of all time. Watch out Neil your job a Rush's drummer may be in danger.
Its great to see you fcing a song i actually know
@zie959585 neil peart uses a double pedal for accents like in this song. lee is just playing it like it was played originally.
That was the most casual looking FC ever.
yoink
Sick fills.

Definitely want a "On the backs on angels" FC. Or at least the really fast ride part.
@Eragra3 Comments are what keep me going, and let me know you guys want more videos like this!
You sir played a rush song with drums on expert... I SALUTE YOU!
Holy crap that was fast! I was going to buy the Rush pack tomorrow and found out that it`s already pro fc`d! It`s ibite though, so should I be surprised?
@RVBDeathbot OIC wut you did thar. The Lonely Island ftw.
Absolutely.
This is a great song. I had to sell my xbox a few weeks back to pay an unexpected bill :( Makes it kinda hard to watch this because I want to play Rock Band so badly haha. Keep up the good work! Great video
You should do an Africa (Quartered) pro fc. Idk if it's been done.
great song!
yo ibite! can you maybe do a tutorial on how to play those beats like the ones at 0:40 ? i see rush use it time and time again and i have difficulities getting it right, thanks!

@moviemaniac14 do u know how long they will be making rb DLC? :)
You win.
Flawless victory.
Just got news that Rush's 2112 is coming to Rock Band on December 31st for XBOX. You think you could make an FC video of that when you have the chance? If so, that would be awesome. Love your videos man.
Nice, I love Rush and this is very well done good sir :D
What kind of kit is this one? looks pretty fun to use.
Can you please tell me what cymbal stands you use and how do you get them so tight!!
BTW Amazing FC as always
@Bender891 lol he did with two and maybe yes. You only need 2 pedals on X+ which can be found on Guitar Hero =), =O .
That is one cool beat.
@maredevil1 I have a yamaha electric drum set and I use an adapter to play RB >:D
@RHCPFL3A Nah.. seriously awesome job on this. All the 'yoink's at the end makes up for it ^^
@biscuitpups1998 Speaking from my experience, your snare drum will lose sensitivity much faster than the rest of your pads because it's used the most. But I'd say you have a couple months of solid use before that happens.
more vids pls :D
Awesome job :) It look like a really hard song to play to.
I wish they would put some Porcupine Tree in rockband, well not really i like that they are pretty underground!
Great job Lee, i quit playing rockband a long time ago but i still enjoy watching your video's!
Good shit dude, now I have to do it and tie you. Now let's see that Panic Attack FC.
Have you ever marched in a drum corp??
@MrDrumzOrz The song is only charter for one bass pedal. As far as I know, Spirit doesn't have any double bass in it.
this is brilliant.
Where can I acquire the cables to hook up my electronic drumset? O.o
@gamekidillon12 would you rather hear some fun beats or this on real drums or do you like hearing plastic?
i cant believe this is almost a year old(the video)
I would've laughed and cried if you messed up after the big rock ending. Also - Neil Peart is godly.
Certainly! The key is to treat the beat like you're learning to juggle. Don't start with the whole beat at once...start with 1 or 2 drums, ignoring the others at first. Once you're comfortable, start adding more notes/drums to the mix. :)
