Listening to ghost album by album is, in my opinion, the best way to listen to ghost. The albums all paint a picture and tell a story and it’s so cool to hear the transitions and the recurring themes and melodies. Prequelle is my favorite album to listen to cover to cover. Also very listenable. 45-50 minute album.
I have been a fan of Ghost (Ghost BC) for years now and can honestly say that they are one of the best live acts in the world ATM. I took my mum, dad, wife, daughter and son to a concert last time they were in Australia and all three generations of us still talk about it and say it was the complete package when it comes to a concert. They are diverse in genre and they have a "lore" that is second to none, creating an even bigger presence. Unfortunately the metal community likes to pigeonhole genres and many would see their look and assume a different style than they hear. another cool part of this song is that it's in their more satanist period. The messaging is that you're told by religion that you're inherently broken and damaged. The singer (in this case the devil) sees that, acknowledges it, and says that you're not broken and it's a lie that you've been told. I see your anger and your rage. For people who struggle with religious trauma, it can be very healing
