- I love Jewelry Kits and this Resin Jewelry Kit from DJiction blew my mind. In this video I teach you three different techniques using embeds and fine glitter in your resin jewelry. They are simple to do and I teach you the tips and tricks in using embeds and glitter in these resin pendants.
I am so new when it comes to resin and this kit has everything you need if you are just beginning your resin jewelry journey or if you want to add to your resin collection.

I would suggest if you are using the measuring cups from the kit using 10ml of A & B so you don't overflow the cups

Thanks for your educational videos. I've just started working with resin, and have made earrings with molds. I'm having a challenge getting the right size jump ring to fit in the hole without the jump ring looking too big. What size do you recommend?
That is so hard to say without me seeing the mold. Every hole made by a mold for resin jewelry is completely different sizes. I would go to a craft store or a place where you get jewelry findings and get a pack that has a variety of jump rings and see for your self which one works before for what you have.

Help Dess! Love those heart embeds (etc) but the kit no longer available (don't need the kit though) and I'd like that assortment of embeds, but can't find them on JDiction site nor Amazon, any help?

I just got these same molds, but am clueless how to “finish” them! What pieces do I need to turn it into a necklace? Other than a chain, is there a smaller piece that will fit into the hole in the resin?

So you need to add a jump ring and the chain.

Hi Dress God bless you and your family i would like to buy the glitter ink for my resin earring but there is so much out there can you please tell which is good to use with both UV resin and expoxy resin hope i wrote it correctly i have gone into amazon to get the JDiction resin jewelry kit but everthing is sold out or as they say currently unavailable i really don't know where to go i just love all your video thank so much for them Gods Blessing
I don’t now of a glitter ink. It might be out there. I just mix a bunch of glitter with whatever resin I am using. Not too much with the uv because you want the uv light to go through it So it dries properly.
But I just make my own. If that makes sense. I use fine glitter.

What exactly are embeds??..I love the little hearts!... It would be great if you zoomed in on the finished item so we could see your design better! ❤
Embeds are little things you add to the resin like the hearts or you can add shells or you can add these little plastic things that look like fruit. They bring a fun aspect to what you are making.
I have been trying to improve that in my latest videos with zooming in. But I will continue to try to improve that in my videos. Thank you for the suggestion

It looks like the glitter is radiating from the hearts as they are falling from the berry colored area.
Would it dothe sane if you used UV resin on bottom with glitter? Cure it before adding epoxy?

glitter go down at the end what is the reson
You said Round Glitter. Does that mean it is chunky? Some times Glitter can be heavy and sinks to the bottom.
If that is true. You can mix your resin. Wait 20-30 minutes and then add the glitter and it is less likely to go to the bottom.

How you made the hole in the pendant that you didn't show
The hole is in the mold. You don’t have to make the hole. The mold makes it for you. Does that make sense?!?
Can you use this technique with uv resin also ?
You can try but I wouldn’t use as dark of colors. It is harder for the light to penetrate. Or to have such a concentrated paste of glitter

I used epoxy resin for these pendants. Are you asking about a specific brand?
What's a good brand for beginners
SO I love JDiction Epoxy because it dries the fastest out of any of the epoxy resin I have used, but if you are using alcohol ink to make a cool affect the ink doesn't spread as well.

I also love this brand. It takes a lot longer (but most brands take 24 hours to dry) but it is great and a good price.
