Don't worry too much about a few bubbles. Water has bubbles and also, sometimes in the right design, bubbles look pretty 😊 This video was very relaxing for me to watch and listen!
Loved this tutorial. I only have one tiny thing I've noticed on many other resin tutorials, and that's the background music. I'm not a fan of it but hey! That's me. The tutorial itself is very useful so thanks for all the advice. I love how the jewellery sets turned out. I'm going to have a go.
Yeah i didn't like the music either. Its annoying when people put music in idw to hear that . If i am watching its cause i want to hear THE STINKIN INSTRUCTIONS!
Michelle, hi! You had me with the Seahorse, but when you added the wave as the fix, you made it make sense. This is a beautiful Tutorial for what can be done. Thanks.
wonderful tutorial, thanks, I think for others watching,if you fill the charm on the backside with uv resin, then cure it before placing it in the resin, it would eliminate the trouble with air escaping into the resin while curing,, just a thought
I actually prefer the wave in the top coat. It makes it look like the ocean creature is playing in the surf. When it's behind, it seems more diffused and more like a 'mist' effect rather than a wave. These all turned out so pretty, though. I got some coloured UV resins to use for small bits like jewellery to try not using so many little cups, etc, for adding colour, but the colours are so bright and garish, not the kind of colours adults want in most of their jewellery. I may have to check out Temu for these.
You get a bubble & cover it with more Resin, it will hide the bubbles; and to help you dome the back, use a trimmed/cut strip of the foil tape, the waterproofing shiny foil tape...as a dam, and pour your back layer of resin, stick the tape, but don't seal it to tightly to your project...you can also drill it out and place a pointbacked gem/rhinestone into the hole that you drilled out & the hole will stabilize your gem...
So clever and beautiful! If I saw this set somewhere I’d buy it in a heartbeat. I’m not even a beginner at resin yet. My uv light only just arrived today. I’ve been watching tons of videos though, and I learned a lot of great ideas from yours. Two things I noticed: 1. No gloves. You should probably wear them? 2. I watched Steve McDonald “dome” an earring, and he started by building a dam with his high viscosity resin around the edges and then around the hole. Then he filled in with his dome and it worked beautifully! No spillage over the sides,no need to re-drill the hole.
Yes I wear gloves at all times now, this was done a long time ago. And yes I dome all my jewelry with high viscosity uv resin now. You might get a lot more from video #471
Michelle- I love all your ocean-themed resin projects...I am a Pisces girl, after all! LOL🐠 I especially LOVE the Mermaid set, with all the ocean colors, including the green. Good work on the 'bubble repair' with the drill. (Thanks, Don!) Thanks again. (I know the demo is only the beginning, then the editing, reading the comments, etc. The amount of work is not lost on me.) 😊
i been watching this video for the first time and they are the most beautiful earrings sets i’ve ever seen. you make them look amazing. thankyou for your inspiration. i am definately going to give these a try. as a beginner with resin these make me very excited. i have loads of these moulds so i’ve been looking round for ideas and now ive found the best. absolutely amazing. looking forward to more ideas. all the best for you and your family.
Just came across your channel and the blemish gives the piece character... it’s like “suspended-movement” , and after the sanding and adding new resin, the piece was like capturing a live sea-creature moving in the sea forever suspended splendidly in time. Video is incredible !!! I really enjoyed watching so I Subscribed 🛎👍
Cute critters and the colors are good. You know, having been raised by the ocean, I remember seeing bubbles in the surf so if you get a bubble, who cares, it adds character to the pieces.
These are so pretty. It's ocean themed so a bibble here or there just adds to the theme. No worries! I like that little drill. Your hubby is so thoughtful & cute! I love the glitter colors. FYI:Your nails are so pretty.
Hi mrd glitz everything you have done today looks FABULOUS there are always bubbles in the sea you can hardly notice them thanks for sharing take care debbie from uk xxxxx seahorse is stunning fabulous thabnks
If you put a mirror under your molds it cures faster. 💙 get you some play doh to hold the pieces down so you can put the top coat on without getting resin all over your fingers. you know if you add a little color to the charms they don't look as cheap. I guess you can't help it but those flashing lights are bad! You're welcome.
Thanks for the tips! And I figured out the lights and I’m not happy about it! It’s not my fan like I thought. It’s actually my phone when it’s not focused in on something. As soon as I get close up to what I’m working on it stops the flashing. I’m impatiently waiting for the iPhone 15 to be released and I’m first in line for the better camera.
Bubbles can also be your friend in ocean resin art. I recently made a cube of an underwater scene using a hollow plastic clown fish. I hoped it would release a few bubbles for realism so waited for my resin to thicken a bit before pouring over. Turned out pret neat with two bubbles trapped between the fish and the top.🫧🐠👍
Not only are bubbles cool in ocean/ under water scenes but they also make any piece unique and add to the handmade design. There is such a thing as too perfect, in my humble opinion. ..also bubbles can be fixed by drilling them out and then applying a coat of resin. UV resin😮 works great for this!
I remember being new to resin and tried doing earrings with regular resin. Was so happy when I found out about uv resin. Life saver. Now getting cuter ones.
To avoid bubbles from under your charm, I would suggest fully dipping your cute charms in your clear uv resin, let the resin run off, then placing them on your piece. You can then cure them for 30 secs, then put your final top coat on. No bubbles, if that's the look you like. ❤
I have watched quite a few of your videos and found them a joy to watch. I have only been making for 2 months, so I'm only just starting out. I am initially using uv resin 4 lites used so far.
They turned out great!!❤❤❤❤❤ them. I've seen that when doing the white wave that if u spray alcohol on and quickly uv light it gives you cells. Great idea on the drill!! Love the colors of all of them. So beautiful!!
Maybe you could put some pearl beads at the top of the earrings on whatever wire you use, then glue a small pearl bead, or several on the blemish on the pendant... or use a few Swarovski crystals and glue them on or set in another layer of clear resin. So pretty! I love them! 💖💖💖
I almost bought the same ocean inspired charms, but decided not to because of the jewelry hoops. Now I definitely need to buy them! Loved your video as always and thanks for sharing all your knowledge and talent with us!
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 We go to Siesta twice a year from Clearwater. We were stationed in HI when my husband was in the service, and Siesta Key Beach is the closest beach you will find on the mainland to the beaches in HI (water and sand). Wanted to ask you if I can use uv resin for my keychains.
I like the bubble. The ocean is full of them. 🙂
True!
That’s just what I think. It’s perfect as it is.
Don't worry too much about a few bubbles. Water has bubbles and also, sometimes in the right design, bubbles look pretty 😊
This video was very relaxing for me to watch and listen!
The tail of the sea horse looks like it stirred up the bottom of the ocean. I think it looks so beautiful!
I appreciate you showing your mistakes and how to fix them, great teaching! Beautiful pieces
Thanks so much!

I love the sanded effect on the pendant. It gives a whole new texture to work with.
I love them, Michelle you are just human, and I appreciate all you do for us. Thank you again.
I would have maybe hid it with another set of waves it white. But cute
Thanks for your tutorials. You are brilliant how you show everything and how to correct ,istakes. But most of all I adore the colours you do.
Michelle, hi! You had me with the Seahorse, but when you added the wave as the fix, you made it make sense. This is a beautiful Tutorial for what can be done. Thanks.
You are so welcome!
Very cute, love the little mermaid... fab colours of resin
It looks like the bubble in seahorse was perfect for a jute bracelet, perfect location for a bead😂
You can drill out the little bubble and then redo it. with the resin
wonderful tutorial, thanks, I think for others watching,if you fill the charm on the backside with uv resin, then cure it before placing it in the resin, it would eliminate the trouble with air escaping into the resin while curing,, just a thought

Try filling the back of the bezel with us resin first to level it to prevent bubbles
The bubble could have been part of the plan. I thought it looked cool!!!❤

Beautiful results. I dip my charms or flowers etc in resin before adding. .I love your channel🌻
That little drill is perfect for repairing that bubble.
You know that there are bubbles in the ocean😊. I wouldn't worry about it, they are beautiful!
Love the oopsies and how you showed how to work through them. Definitely helpful ❤

Wow!!! Thank you so much! I appreciate the encouragement! 😃
These turned out so darn cute! I love the dimension that second wave gave. Just beautiful!
I would have liked more fixing of bubbles. Thank you for showing cute ear rings and pendants.
Dont stress over the bubbles, oceans have bubbles !! I thought they were all beautiful.
I really love bubbles in resin even though we don’t want them. They reflect light beautifully well!!

Loved it all. I think there are bubbles in the ocean, so don't worry, it was great.
Good job on fixing the bubbles. I love this UV resin. I will definitely be trying to get some myself. ❤

❤ Great fix to the sea penzdant, it looks so much better.
This was very helpful and I learned a new trick for the bubbles. You and hubby are super cute. 😊
Thank you so much 🤗
Beautiful ❤ maybe try the white resin to create a wave and hide that bubble on the pendant 😊

I love them!
Julie I have so got to get that resin.
The colors look fantastic we’re does the bubbles come from that stuff is supposed to be bubble free they look fabulous.
I think they got trapped under the charm when I added the clear. The charms do not sit flat.
This looks like great fun!where can I find. A list of Supplies needed to do this? Thank you for the wonderful videos!
Happy New Year Irene! The list of items is always in my description boxes of each video.
Hi, your jewelry are very nice suggestions for your bubbles, did you try a torch?😊
I usually use a long neck lighter for uv resin
Great video, beautiful 💯thanks
Absolutely beautiful Michelle, which chains/cords are you intending to use on these
I use silver chains and black cords depending on clothing.
love them all
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing your talents and tips
You are so welcome!
Beautiful
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing this. I love the black and white. Headed to Temu to order some. Lol
Love them!! Just getting stated with UV resin... thanks for the tips!
Siesta Key my home away from home. My favorite beach.
It is beautiful! The reason we moved here back in 96’!
Cool! And I don’t see why not, I don’t know how big they are but thin layers as you go should work. Try one first and see what happens
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 thanks will do. Your work is beautiful.
Bubbles and ocean looks more authentic !!
You are such a clever girl.
To obtain the white part, was that white resin or glue? Love your beach set.
It was UV resin mixed with pigment paste
Love … love … love this! I placed an Amazon order… you inspired me! 💙
Yay, thank you! ☺️
Some really nice blue colors - they all turned out gorgeous! Thank you! 😁🏖
Thank you! 😊
What type drill? Hand or electric drill like a Dremel? Love use of a silver resin in the one pendant.
Here is a good drill amzn.to/4f4nXQf you can use my discount codes if you purchase that one.
Wow! I loooove these! Thank you, so much! ❤
You are so welcome!
Gorgeous!!❤
Really pretty
Very nice, great fixes. ❤
Thank you! 🤗
You can use beach waves stickers instead of the white pigments it's easier for tiny charms and looks better
Thank you for sharing
🎉❤🎉
You are so welcome 🤗
