I've been searching constantly for roughly the past week for aero road bikes based on sheer value for the buck, and I keep coming back to this one. I don't think it could be beat right now. The fact that it has $2,000 carbon wheels, a power meter and a full Di2 setup for the price point it's at makes this a ridiculously good deal, moreso if it's on discount.
@@brianskies Now that the Trek Madone SL7 Gen7 has been released, I don't know about that. The Madone ends up being slightly cheaper but the real value comes from Trek's lifetime warranty on their frames. Even the Bontrager wheels are warrantied for life.
@@Flashback_Jack the life time guarantee is only for the original buyer. not transferable ! and most people only keep a bike like this for 4 t o 5 years as tech gets better .
That looks incredible! I recently got a Silverback stride sport and have been riding about 30 minutes to the top of the hill that I live on and have been making a trail in my back yard. No mater what type of biking you do, it’s incredibly refreshing to go out for a cycle after a long day. I’d love to see some updates from you with how your new bike behaves long term.
Congrats on your new Aeroad. I got my Aeroad CFR Di2 with a $1,000 discount. 4 moths and 2,200 miles later, I love it! Night and Day compared to my old Tarmac SL5.
I have s-works tarmac sl5 and thinking about getting aeroad cf slx di2 :D How would you compare the climbing on both? That is the only thing, which I am not sure about
I haven’t been doing as much climbing on the Aerod yet as I did with my SL5. Overall I feel my Tarmac felt lighter on the steeper 9%+ gradients but not as responsive or stiff as my Aeroad. Even though my Aeroad is 1lb lighter than my tarmac. On longer steady climbs the Aeroad is faster.
That 4iii single sided power meter is indeed pretty good. I also have Garmin Rally XC200 dual sided power pedal meters. Data between the two systems matches surprisingly well.
Highly considering this bike myself, It looks awesome and although it is a big investment it has to be the best value aero road bike out there at the moment. Great spec and love this colourway the most! 🤩Happy Riding!
I have the same bottle cages... Arundel Mandible. Carbon, super light weight, but their claim to fame is their tenacious hold on bottles. You will never lose a bottle with these regardless of how bumpy the road is.
I got the Ultegra version too. Honestly, though, the 105 is just as good and a good deal cheaper... but doesn't have the hood-top buttons. I wanted those buttons but in retrospect, I think I would have been perfectly happy with the 105 and saved some money.
I had awful luck with 2019 105 mechanical shifters. Rubber hoods stretched loose. Plastic shrouds fell off. Internal mechanism in the front shifter literally exploded on a rough road. I would continue with Ultegra and above on my main bike from here on. 105 is not reliable as it once was…
The saddle? Should be Selle Italia Boost SLR, no? Top spec saddle. Top spec wheels. Top spec tires. All at a cheaper price than competitor bikes that skimp out in one or all three of these items.
from my guess it should come tubed because if they had it tubeless setup but kept the bike in their wearhouse, the sealent would clog or dry up so like to prevent that might as well sell it tubeless ready so you have the quick option to switch
If you previously had a fit and know exactly what your reach is then you dont need adjustability. An inch difference is hardly noticeable. Buy the bike size that comes as close as possible to your current geometry and you’re done.
@@Armenian I have short arms and long legs, so I definitely won't fit on any aeroad if I can't switch the stem. I also disagree that an inch difference is barely noticable. I think even a cm is very noticible and changes a bike more than changing the frame would most of the time. A bike fit isn't some magical way to find the one perfect fit forever. Every bike fitter is gonna set you up slightly differently and if you want to do longer distances you'll need to play with the fit yourself or book multiple sessions until you have something that works. If the bike fits you that's great, but I think it's stupid to not be able to adjust stem length when you buy the bike and insane to not be able to adjust it at all after buying it. I wonder if the pros get custom cockpits or if they are also stuck with a stem length that likely doesn't fit.
@@chuckyfox9284 its an integrated cockpit what do you expect? Nobody makes an integrated cockpit that can be adjusted. They all have to be changed out to satisfy your stump arms. Mine fit perfect because i chose the correct size bike and transferred all my measurements over.
@@Armenian The problem is that you can't buy this integrated cockpit. With any other bike you can buy a different size integrated cockpit that actually fits you. For most people there isn't going to be a "correct size bike" because it is only offered in one stem length which usually has to be adjusted.
The "notorious squeaking seatpost"... I tend to think most of these comments come from the peanut gallery... from idiots who don't bother installing per Canyon directions. If you do it exactly how Canyon tells you, you won't have any squeaks or any problems. 1,500 miles on mine and nothing but exquisitely comfortable riding.

Bro how tf do y'all afford 10k bikes? I'm riding a fu*king 300 dollar eurobike.😂
bought the same, received yesterday !!!!! Yesssss

The new Pinarello Prince is also sexy (the blue one), but not as readily available to me in Canada.
What a beautiful bike!!! Congrats and enjoy it!!!
I've been very happy with mine.

Love it! I have one coming soon. Did it come setup tubeless?
Looks fast
Hey question! I’m 5’8 and would you recommend a medium or small?
Very nice bike. Does it have a built-in chain catch ? I have a new Trek Madone and had it wrapped with RideWrap.
The new trek madone SLR gen7 is better all around than the aeroad CFR or CF slx..more comfortable too
Great bike… I’m also considering buying this model. Did you have any seat post issues so far?
Nice whip!
I just ordered the same. Was it delivered set up as tubeless, or did you set it up? If you did set up, how difficult were the tires to put on? Thx!
No, the bike came with tubes installed. It was very easy to set up the tires went back on with two tire levers.
Nice bike and colour looks awesome.
I have the ultimate, what computer mount to you have. It has a a gopro attachment at the bottom too?
Looks dope🔥
Sweet rigg
Very nice! I was looking at this type too. Does the bike come tubeless or did you make it tubeless yourself? Couldn’t find it on the site. 😊

Is the freehub loud? :D
240 dtswiss hub..i think it has the 36t ratchet...you can always change out to a 54t ratchet to be louder and get more engagement..
Hey how tall are you? The Website also tells me to go with Framesize S, but id like to go with the M. I´m 177cm / 5"8"

I ordered the Aeroad CF SLX 8 Disc Di2. Can anybody tell me if the Shimano CN-M8100 12s chain comes with a chain lock or quick link? :)
which is the size of the bike in the video?
Uh, he showed the size and mentioned it in the video.

It's a beautiful bike, but I i think you can't change the reach of the bike, because they do not sell the proprietary cockpit, which is absurd to me.
