  • I found a new office park which was conveniently located right around the corner from the Tobacco Trail. It's also a great chance for me to try the Powerslide Next with some 90mm wheels.

I’m a shorty wheel guy... 60’s for fun.. 80 for mixed fun and speed. 90’s for speed and yet still stable.

Loving your old school Video Groove t-shirts! VG 4/5 were huge inspiration for learning to agro skate.

Yep, FR is rolling out more of their 4x90 complete setups for preorder. I was looking at those, but concerned about maneuverability coming off of a 4x80 setup

My 84mm are 83A and my 100mm are 86A. So i think that 85A on a 90mm wheel is bang on correct.

I'm thinking about getting the 2022 Next Charcoal 90 skates.
I like the rocker adjustability. If I'm not mistaken, i think that they are the most adjustable.
One thing I'm wondering about is if i could get smaller wheels (between 60mm and 80mm) and then adjust the rockers to set the front back a little, and the back forward a little.
Not sure if it would be so slight that it would not matter.
But maybe if I'm going to the park with my daughter, maybe i can change the set up of the wheels to better accommodate park riding?
Thank you, new sub, great video!

Great to hear some background story on those tracks, very interesting. on a side note, I was going to buy this specific model a few days ago but ended up buying the Argon 100 with Trinity frame (very happy here). Powerslide skates are so high quality, Im surprised that not many people wear them! I couldn't recommend them more. I got the Trinity frame 4x90 just in case I feel the need to downsize it at some stage. Big cheers from New Zealand.

Wet leaves on a tree-lined bike trail are terrible. It’s like trying to skate on oil. I hit a local trail on 4x110 K2’s the morning after an overnight storm this summer and it was 20 miles of slow sliding with no striding. Still better than not skating though lol

I just wanted to write a similar comment, but then saw yours :D Trails like that are awesome except after storms and during fall.

Yes wet leaves let you instantly loose control. It's far easier to skate on snow..... sadly I can't recommend that eitherway. Because the Salt killed my bearings in hours.....
      But it was insane fun

Being in ct we have tons of trails compared to skate parks and what have you. With my zoom 80 pros I did 16 miles one day on a trail.

4x90 is the sweet spot paired with the Next hard boot..the trinity mount makes it lower. Stable and still can go fast

Did you ever skate the whole trail? If not it would be cool to see you do that.

Hey, I love your setup! What do you prefer for long distances 4x90mm or 3x110mm?

Is 4x90 slower than the 3x110 flying eagle that you have?
