42 Intuition premium fits perfect into 42-43 shell (no foam pad and NO insole)... Strongly recommend the Combat 90 for best possible urban skate
It would be interesting to see and learn more about buckles, cuffs and other skate interchangeable parts. Many people break them and then I find its a hassle to find original part especially lately with shortage, so it would be useful to know how to figure out what is compatible and order that.
This requires a little technical skill, but you can use just about any buckle on any skate. The Roces/Valo memory buckle is the most problematic one. Some buckles require you to drill holes in different places, other to make a same elongated hole (i.e. Maxxum buckles) but other than that, no rocket science at all.
You can find 45° ankle straps, cuff straps, and buckles on eBay.
For any good brand like powerslide fr or rollerblade on the skates with prices of about 250 - infinity bucks there should be enpugh spareparts.
Sometimes you only wont get the same colour anymore.

One of the reasons I love my Next boot is exactly for that flex in the cuff. It is so great, when I have tried other boots it feels like ski boots and I can't get comfortable in flexing the ankle. The Next cuff provides really good feedback, in my opinion.

I had the pressure and pain on top of the foot that you mentioned. I fixed it by removing liner, pouring boiling water over the eyelet area and wedging in a block of wood to push the sides apart. I repeated a couple of times and the gap permanently opened up about 5mm. The boots are now comfortable without pressure points. Mondo 278 width 105 using 44-45.

Watched your video on fr skates and the buyers guide. I love these videos where you go over all of the options from one specific brand. They are beyond helpful. One idea might be to make videos on the top options within different price ranges like 100-200 200-350 350-600 and 600+

I totally agree with everything you said about this skate which I bought here in Sweden last week! Especially the heads up about the difficulty for some feet having difficulty entering the skate plus the laces issue! However, after only two skate days I experienced that one of my eyelets at the top snapping off because the plastic was weak and broke off around it when lacing! Other than that issue, I am loving these skates!😎 🏴🇸🇪🇹🇹

Hello Ivo, Im looking to change to cuff on my next skates to a Them cuff. Is it a 909 you have there? Otherwise anything good to be aware of in terms of bolts and cuff size?

Have you any advice on stopping a rattle on next 110s ? Also the top fastener comes out of place

OMG. I've been thinking along the lines of NOS as I look into getting new skates. I love that brands step out a little with different wild color ways, but if you don't like the current one or two, a simple black, white, or grey would be awesome.
Love my Next 90s. Haven’t messed around with the customizable cuff.
How is the comfort om them if you skate for longer periods? I have k2 but they are so run down i need to buy a new pair but k2 newer seems bad

At the moment I am missing two things from Powerslide
- black Spinner Wheels in the Shops to buy
- an Powerslide Version of Frames like the NN or Endless Frames.
Iqon/Disroyal, or whatever its called, is a Powerslide related brand and they make and sell these kind of frames. They can do all kinds of configurations. Pretty cool, but im personally not a fan of the swiss cheese look
New rockerable Trinity frames are coming in the near spring.

Hi, skated the Next a few times but I thought this cuff has to much flex to the front and it could also be higher. Do you recommend the Them cuff? Wich size do I need for Size 42/43? thx

Never saw this video before, but it's a very good one! It would be worth to make another, shorter one about new Reaction liners, these are amazing. Like Powerslide took best parts and ideas from 2nd Skin, Recall, SPC and Crown to create it.
I bought some 1992s from the last video... can't wait for them to arrive

Thanks for in-depth reviews or introductions!👍It's kind of scary or worrying for easy loosening of axles threads as there seemed a quota for number of times as one changed wheels!🤐
I don't know if that's much of a concern anymore. I've had my Powerslide Next skates for a year now; I rotate the wheels every two weeks, and the axle threads are as good as new. As long as you're careful to not strip the threads, they should last a long time.
Can you give some more information about new specs you mentioned? Like what kind of frames are we gonna see on these skates?

I've been skating with core 80 for about 5 months (basically learned with them) and now my cuffs are a bit rusted and on my country there's no way of getting any official parts for them, which other brands can I use to be compatible???
I took out ankle bankle too. its so pointless on most skates especially if you know of the runner knot
Well, still want to purchase the FR1 90 from you instead, hopefully I'll be able to purchase them in a month and to find my size in stock.
I got the Superfeet Carbon insole and it adds heel raise so I have to the Shock absorber otherwise is too much raise
Powerslide have a reputation for not being good for wider feet. How is the Next boot?
I think toe box is quite roomy but middle- and heel area are more normal to narrow... It also depends where you are size wise... I have a 42 and the 42-43 fits perfect, it would be most likely too tight if I'd have foot size 43...
Powerslide Zoom have a wider fit, 41-42 has more room than Next 42-43 😅
Anyone can tell me how the comfort are on them for longer runs? Compared to like k2

what i dont like about ps next is how much you can move your fingers in it. is it still the case when you changed to intuition liner?
I suspect this will make the problem worse, since the Intuition liner is thinner than the MyFit liner that comes in the Next. This is likely a sizing issue, since my toes are quite snug in my Powerslide Next skates. If the Next skates don't fit well, try the Powerslide Zoom, because the sizes of those two skate lines are staggered. What I mean is that the Next line shoe sizes are e.g. 38-39, 40-41, 42-43 etc. whereas the Zoom line goes 39-40, 41-42, 43-44 etc.
I find it impossible to open the latch on upper buckle! Once it’s closed I can’t get my tinder under it and have to pull the lace under to lever it open again!

That is a common problem. Best thing is to replace the buckle.
Also be sure to cut off the cuff flaps.
Which model of superfeet do you use
Is there a way to tell which model my next 80 skates are? Old or new version? I bought them recently but they were on a discount, so i have a feeling it might be the old model, not sure how to differentiate.

Did they ever improve upon their frames? I'm going to use these for roller hockey and frequent wheel rotation, etc. Also, are trinity frames the only option for aftermarket replacement? Thanks!!!

Hello! i am currently burrowing the powerslide evo pros from my teacher. They are rockered so i am looking for something similar to them or the same level. Ive been told that no matter what skates i get, aint no other gonna be better so i dont know which to buy, Should i buy the same skates or are there other similar options?

He did a video on this channel about it. 4 wheels would be more stable, but 3 more agile and also better for some ground with pavements etc

It seems to me that this has been fixed since this comment was written. The Next line is sized up to EU 48-49, which is quite large. In comparison, the Zoom line only goes up to 45-46.

This Next model only cinderella can fit on this skate. The skates are way too narrow in width.
Basicly great skates if you change cuffs, liners, frames, insoles, wheels, laces and remove the 45° buckles.
Only three small problems remain,
a) too tight at the instep area. To solve that use a heatgun and deform the shells.
b) no metall mounting plates
c) adjusting the frames to the sides is almost impossible
For 250€ plus 600€ parts it could be yours. Grab it, its a bargain.
I am kidding. You can use it right out of the box and have fun with it.
The perfect skate doesnt exist.
So, the skate that needs a whole skate 🤣
Unfortunately you seem to be right, I have seen too many complaints about cracked shells and even laces eyelets! Not what I would expect from what is probable one of the brands that sells the most and the skate design looks beautiful in my opinion. Such a waste.

they are simply uncomfortable and not for narrow feet. The lower straps don't last long, you can order 10 of them at once. Anyone who has worn skates like the FR Spin or the highlight from FR will no longer want the Next. If it fits, it sure is a good skate for the price. The thing with the intermediate sizes is also bullshit. Whether the laces are waxed or unwaxed doesn't matter with the Next. The laces are completely useless and purely decorative.
I have narrow feet, and adding an ergonomic insole (instead of the flat insole that the skate comes with) improved the fit. I agree completely regarding the laces, and I removed mine from my Next skates. The buckles provide plenty of support.
I bought new rollerblade powerslide next. I can't lock my leg tightly. I already cut the cuff but the leg still dangles. What cuff are you using for powerslide next?

Have you tried lacing the liner at the cuff, as recommended in the video @9:38? The cuff he uses is a Them brand cuff. You can see this in the video @16:30.
So, basically he kept only the boot and changed the whole skate.

Both indoor and outdoor should be fine with this skate. Even the Powerslide Spinner wheels that come with the Next should be fine for both indoor and outdoor use.
