I've mentioned previously that I really dig your positive and upbeat personality, but I especially love that you showcase Eric's skill level along with your own, but in a really cool and encouraging way. As a newbie, thanks for that. As an added note, I really dig this longer format a lot, especially given that you're sharing insights and thoughts along the way. It's a very satisfying and engaging format. Well done.
Wow 8+ miles of smooth trail - Here in the UK you'll be lucky to go 8 meters before you hit a paving slab sticking up sky high or a puddle or mud or plants growing up through the pavement etc etc 😂(Unless you live in central London ofc)
omg, recently unlocked “trail skating” in my quad skates, can’t wait to check this out!!! your vids rock, something so satisfying about your strides!!!!!
How long did it take you to go from looking like your friend to looking like you do in this video. It seems like your knees are more bent and you are not bobbing as much? I’m a beginner, so I’m trying to figure how what you do different to skate smoother.
I just started watching your videos. I like the premise of 30 and rollin. I am 35 and I just recently decided to get some new liners for my 13 year old Roces Fifth Elements and start rollin again. I'm a little bit nervous about getting back to it. I haven't skated since I was 22, however, watching your videos, especially this one, gave me a rush of energy to want to get back to it. Awesome videos!
Love the video, I wish spring would just come already :(. BTW nothing screams ‘I’m so insecure’ like standing by a trail chirping people as they go by. One day they’ll grow up and realize how childish that was; I’m glad you didn’t let it get to you.
The parks and rec. usually have an online form for recommendations on things that need fixing. I wrote to my local department about a rotting plank on a bridge on a dirt trail and it took them like 6 months but there is so much that they have to look after that these recommendations are just part of taking ownership of your trails .
This was great! Just started skating like yesterday, and am looking forward to hitting the Elm Creek trail next to my house, just like this one but in MN. what type of camera holder did you use? Is it on wheels?
I went to Fowler too! Ha I miss mobbing those paths! I wonder if we know each other. I used to skate back in the day, now I’m looking to pick up a pair for some fitness! Thanks for the videos man! I’ll be following your page!
Thirty and Rollin I graduated from Tigard High in 2007. I’m turning 31 this year. Next time I’m in town I’ll shoot you a comment, let’s go for a cruise! If you’re ever in Phoenix hit me up! We have some amazing trails out here.
Hey nice video. I’m looking for inline skates for not only paved trails but hard pack soil trails. Like a little off roading. Have you done the off roading and recommend a skate? Thanks!
I haven't but I know the blow up wheels on off-road skates are very slow on pavement. I would just recommend and larger 125mm setup for pavement and hardpack.
Hey there my guy, I love your videos. I have a question, I have the next 100 trinity setup and I was wondering how much more comfortable are they compared to the skates your using in this video? I asked because I can't tighten the next because if the crazy pressure.
I would say the Twisters are a bit more comfy IMO. Both are a narrow skate. You may have a wide foot if so maybe look to the Powerslide Zoom or Rollerblade RBs.
@@ThirtyandRollin so I guess there was a break in period and now they seem a lot better from the time I started to use them. I'm looking into some aggressive skates but I don't like the non show design I'm seeing now a days
Thirty and Rollin, great video, can you tell me the name of the song between 10:30 and 11:30 in the video. I heard in another one of your videos as well. Thanks.
I ordered these skates that come with standard wheels 72, 76, 76, 72. I wanted to switch them to bigger wheels but that’s too expensive. I just learned that frames are pricey. I’m thinking about buying another pair or returning these and getting the bigger wheel ones to handle trails and make it easier to go farther. What do you think?
It's usually more cost effective to just get a new setup. Is that 72,76,76,72 setup for slalom? I would keep that setup for slalom skating if that's what you want to do and get another bigger wheel setup for distance skating.
Thirty and Rollin it’s annoying sometimes when you got a great flow going & you have to make a decision to slow down, or say, ‘well, I whistle, but also say Skater coming up’ just don’t want to deal with dogs especially!
You’re honestly a champ for doing all these trails without water or gear 🙀😳
Hah thanks but they are not that long. Stay tuned this summer for a super long trail skate I have in mind.

i like this long trail skate format. make plenty more please.. all the best
Will do! Thanks for the feedback.
Very nice video, those twister 80s are very fast! almost as fast as 110s.
Thanks for showing us all these trails! I skated the Greenway park part of Fanno a few weeks ago, now I want to do the whole thing!
Get it! It's a solid workout!

Thanks! Get out on those trails! Super fun!
Aight this video has me grabbing my skates when the kid goes to sleep and checking out some more urban areas lol. Maybe some trails.
Nice! Enjoy it!

At least a few years. A lot happens bellow the waist so bent knees are vital.

That is awesome!
Dang dude. You be covering some significant real estate in that session.
Can't believe you waited until the turn around to tell him to fix his glide😅
Go Eric! I want to be featured in your next one! Cora too!
Maybe just maybe.
lol your buddy was still so scared not to fall after a year of skating ;)
Haha he doesn't skate much, still very green.
Great video! I really enjoy watching your videos!
Thank you
Thank you!
2:40 ya, that was a drift 😂🍻. Scary. Happens fast. Got 85a wheels on?
Yep those are 85a

Long skate definitely!

Have you skated with all terrain skates? Do u prefer a bigger or smaller size wheel in your regular skates?
No I have not been on all terrain skates yet but want to. I prefer a bigger wheel than smaller. But depends you skating style.

I just use Map My Run

Sorry I can't find the name but it is from the UA-cam audio library. That is where all my music comes from.
Thank you so much for the reply.
I’ll check out the audio library.
the real question is who's porsche is that?
O that's just one of my daily drivers. Got 3 more back at the pad.

I’m in the same boat was looking at swapping my aggressive frames out but I could get a whole new skate
All those trails, except the Oregon trail, why?
Their isn't a proper paved bike/skate Oregon Trail.
What did those gnarly dudes say to you? Some kind of insult?
Haha some snarky crap about being on blades. I can't remember.
Very nice video. What part of Tigard is this? Loved the scenery. My aunt lived there before she passed on so I have been there. Thx
It goes from Beaverton into Tigard. Nice skating trail when it's not under water.
What liner are you using
Stock 👍
What the name of you the rollerblades your riding?
Rollerblade Twister Edge
What selfie strick is he using
That was an ikea curtain rod lol but now I use a collapsible stick.
Where is this trail located?
It runs through Tigard and Tualatin Oregon.
you are a pro.. did you ever fall?
Haha not on this trail. But yes I do fall.
are you a hockey player?
@@mizukikaneshiro6395 Nope
There’s no other people or dogs?
Only a few that day.

@@HeadNtheClouds Totally agree!
What sucks are the people with their dogs off leash, or often worse, on those stupid retractable leashes!
