If I'm at home I have the TV on, if I'm at work on my lunch I listen to the radio. Love this.

I love the way you design. This pattern is gorgeous! I'm a 50-year knit and crocheter. I'm so happy UA-cam came along so I can learn new patterns. I like it quiet all the time, or maybe listening to a bit of old rock. I think for this blanket, for my great-grandson, I'll go with 3 singles in the corner. Thank you again Mikey. 💜

I like this. It's so simple to do but looks complicated. I watch TV what I crochet - actually more listen than watch, lol.😅

Thanks Mikey. Nice change up on a regular Granny Square. I watch UA-cam videos or listen to podcasts while I crochet. I think I prefer the three singles in the corner of the last round. Have a great week!

I watch TV. I love the texture you are putting into the granny square blanket because I will get bored doing a mindless granny square, and that's when I start making mistakes. 😎

I like a lot of texture, so this is something I believe I will enjoy making! when I crochet, I always have something playing. TV, radio or blogs. Or I listen to other crochet videos (like I'm doing with this one while making a Daisy Farm Crafts blanket). Seems like lately, I only crochet yours or hers!

I am making this for a kindergartner student on my van who is becoming a big brother in May. I am using Lion Brand Ice Cream Cotton Blend Blueberry, Lime and Rainbow colors, using a Bates G-hook. Everyone is loving the textures and use the tail to show the right side. Had to add the tail after forgetting to reverse a row and noticed two rows up the bumpies were on the wrong side. Love ya Mikey and looking forward to 2024 with you.

I never fail to learn something with your tutorials. Don’t know why but it never occurred to me to pick up the stitch in the space to close up the edging for the square🤦‍♀️. Thankyou

I think it would make a lovely addition for anyone. I think Bernat blanket yarn would be perfect for cold weather. #4yarn for warmer climates. I think 3. sc. in the finished corners is more attractive.

I do SO AGREE WITH YOU that "holes" in the baby afghan are to be avoided. Thanks Mikey for talking about this possible danger to an infant. Baby's love to rub soft textures for comfort and their little fingers can get caught in the holes. Love your program💞💞💞

Simply fabulous textured granny square blanket ❤ I love to learn new techniques and I’ve learnt so much from you. I like a quiet relaxing place to crochet & I usually have a movie or music playing quietly . Or I’ll be listening/watching to any one of my favorite UA-cam channel. I prefer to do the three single into the corners, cheers 🥂

This is just the pattern I needed! Just finished a large granny square blanket and wanted another something easy to work on when taking a break from a more complicated pattern. But couldn’t bear to do plain granny again. This is perfect! And for a border corner I prefer 3 single crochets to chains.

I have to be honest but mean no meanness. The original sample looks cool but the thick yarn to me, looks like a bunch of knots. I'm glad you did it this way so we could see the difference. I think I will stick to the small yarn. ❤❤❤😊

Serious question for you: I’ve only been doing this casually for about eight years and haven’t made a lot of projects. Sometimes after a few days of working on a project, my wrist will start to hurt. Do you have any suggestions to keep that from happening?

I have the same issue. Just have to take a break. I am doing acupuncture with my doctor for my wrists and shoulders which is helping me a lot.
