How to Outline Text in Photoshop | Easy Method

In this tutorial video, I'll show you how to outline your text in Photoshop in the easiest and quickest way. Photoshop does not have a quick outline or stroke option for text layers like Illustrator does so I thought a tutorial on this would be helpful!

Once you create it, you can easily duplicate the layer for any other text you need. You can do that by right-clicking the layer and duplicating or with the shortcut CTRL + J

The one I was using in the tutorial is Montserrat. You can get the whole font family from Google Fonts.

Make sure it's your fill that you bring to zero and not the opacity. Opacity will affect the outline. Also you can check and make sure your stroke is thick enough to be seen and the opacity of the stroke is set to 100%
