- In this tutorial video, I'll show you how to outline your text in Photoshop in the easiest and quickest way. Photoshop does not have a quick outline or stroke option for text layers like Illustrator does so I thought a tutorial on this would be helpful!

How can I type like this by default without repeating the process for every text? please I need to know so much
Once you create it, you can easily duplicate the layer for any other text you need. You can do that by right-clicking the layer and duplicating or with the shortcut CTRL + J
bro, what type of font do you use?
The one I was using in the tutorial is Montserrat. You can get the whole font family from Google Fonts.
What font is that?
The one I used in the video is called Montserrat. One of my favorite everyday font :)
when I do this my entire font is selected, please help!!
What do you mean? Like you get the marching ants?
he colour of the entire font changes! but no problem man I fixed it. Thanks for your reply@@AndrikLangfield
Oh, awesome! Glad to hear you got it fixed :) thanks for watching!@@sremaang5208
blurred.
Hey, what do you mean, did it not work for you?
my white outline just dissapears lol
Make sure it's your fill that you bring to zero and not the opacity. Opacity will affect the outline. Also you can check and make sure your stroke is thick enough to be seen and the opacity of the stroke is set to 100%
@@AndrikLangfield i mean
1. I put the fill down
2. The stroke is big
@@shad3wisugly you can control the thickness of the stroke in the blending options.
@@AndrikLangfield ik but the lighter the stroke gets the more it dissapears lol
What is your blending mode? Should be set to normal
Tip...you're too echo-ey! use 100 percent treble, zero bass!
the long way to do this.....
How would you do it differently? Curious if I've missed something that could be helpful.
Seriously, do you have to explain....and waste time? Just start with the tutorial, for gawd's sake.
