I just moved to Columbus and it makes me laugh! Waiting in line for Weller red and green is funny! There are soooo many good whiskies on the shelves to just wait for buffalo trace stuff. Literally, start trying world whiskies, it'll open your eyes to a wide variety of whiskies

I live in SoCal so I can't relate to this camping out stuff🤣 I literally stocked up on EH Taylor and Blanton's Gold that was sitting on the shelf at CVS.

I’m about an hour north east and it’s very difficult even finding eagle rare. Nice haul though

I have never had to show up at a liquor store that early. Kind of seems fun and frustrating at the same time.

It can be, You meet some great people, but the early mornings and the people just lining up for reselling bottles on secondary can be super annoying.

Its nuts here in Ohio. Literally is the land of Weller. Now if only I could get my hands on the rest of the Weller lineup.

Most giant eagles and krogers have good allocations on their release days. We also like Arena wines and spirits, chateau, and 1837 wines and spirits all near downtown/ northeast central. We rarely hunt in the west side

Depends on which part of the state you'll be in, but most of the state has their allocated drops once a week. You'll have to find out which stores are near the area you'll be in and see which days they release their allocated stuff.

@TheMashBrothers I'll be in Columbus area on Oct 14 then back there on Oct 18-19. Assume the GE stores are good for lining up early on Saturday. When do people usually start lining up?

@@johndugger7664 depends on what has been dropping throughout the week, when stagg was dropping people were in line 10pm the night before. People are crazy

Chairs. Lol. Better be sitting in them or you’re not in line. I don’t do the tater BS. It’s stupid as hell to do that garbage over alcohol.

agreed about chairs. I hate when people just set them out and then assume that is their spot in line. I get it if you need to run to bathroom or just to warm up in the vehicle, but if your going back to your house or sleeping in your car, personally I don't think that should count
