Appreciate the kind words, Peter! Thanks for the sub and for commenting! Appreciate you. Glad you enjoy the content! Will do my best at keeping that up!
Yeah! We are pretty lucky with this Costco selection! They usually have something different in every week. A few weeks ago they had the Bardstown Origin White and Black Labels for the best prices I’ve ever seen them… it’s in one of the shirts I posted a few days ago. You’d be flabbergasted by the prices. And that’s what I’m hearing about the Michigan stores lately. Appreciate you watching, Alan! Cheers brother!
Love the Tumblin’ Dice Single Barrel Bourbons. Pick one up anytime I find them. Have a few 6 year bottles and got a 7 Year bottle last trip to KY. Picked up a Calumet 16 Year backup bottle for $128 today. Really like the Augusta Old Route 8. I have a bottle that is 134.2 proof. Don’t sleep on that Rebel Small Batch Reserve. Very good for $30-$35. 🥃
LOVE the Old Route 8. Going to have some cool Augusta footage coming soon! Will check out the Tumblin’ Dice 🎲 next time I see one. Thanks for the rec Dave! Cheers brother 🥃🥃
Ahh thanks for the heads up Cody! I have yet to have any Cooper’s craft and didn’t even realize there were two different ones. I figured it was a rebrand! Have heard pretty good things about the juice. Cheers!
Thanks for the sub! I used to live 5 minutes from Union 42 but never made it there! Will definitely stop in. I follow them on Facebook if that counts! Haha cheers! 🥃
MIcher's Barrel Strength is hard to find outside of the Michter's distillery - you can do the bottle your own tour and that includes Barrel Strength as an option 9/10 times. I think that tour is like $160-180. Hope you enjoy it far more than I enjoy mine. It's FINE but it's not half as good as the 10 year, for whatever reason. My barrel strength is probably less enjoyable than 90% of the barrel strength bottles I own. It's a shame. The 10 year is like a top 5 bottle in my collection of about 400 bottles.
Haha that’s what the mistake I made was… I had buyers remorse a few hours later haha. BUT I actually just picked up a M10 B yesterday! That video is coming out in a few weeks! But that’s a bummer to hear. Especially at that money for a bottle like that. Have heard amazing things about the 10 year bourbon too! Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing Andrew! Cheers 🥃🥃
I definitely want to try the Redwood Empire cask strength lineup. I've had the standard and the BiB and one of their LEs but I can't remember what it was called. Port finished I think. I got to try a sample of Bardstown Discovery 11 on Friday and loved it. I can't afford a whole bottle though. My limit is $90 a bottle but I try to stay under $70. I really want to get my hands on that Holladay Soft Red Wheat. I've found their 6year BiB and the rickhouse proof McHenry County but not this one. Those are crazy prices for Heaven Hill BiB and Russells 10. I can get those for $39 and $35 respectively. Its funny because I can pretty regularly find the Jack Daniels BP Rye at a mom and pop liquor store in town at MSRP but I've only ever seen it one time at Binny's. The Evan Williams SiB is only $36 at Binny's too. Still never found a Larceny BP ever.
The Redwood Empire Pipe Dream cask strength was fantastic! Thats the only one I have tried. I want to try the Foggy Burl as well as the Screaming Titan! I haven’t seen the JD BP Rye but once or twice and never saw it at Binny’s either. That Holladay soft red wheat is SO GOOD! Cheers Charley! Thanks for watching and commenting as always. 🥃🥃
Brother, you missed out. Party Town in Florence and The Party Source in Bellevue are amazing. Both are definitely worth checking out next time you're in the area.
I have been to both plenty. Did a hunt at Party Source on my channel a few months ago 😉 I live in the area (Covington) so I’m familiar, but thanks for the heads up! Party Town wouldn’t let me film inside. Plus their prices continue to go up since they got bought by good spirits. Appreciate you watching, Adam! Will have a separate Party Source video again in a few months!
I find some good bottles (at good prices) at two Kroger liquor stores - one on Mall Road in Florence and the other one in Burlington just down the road.
Blueprint - the company is in the process of buying the old TW Samuels distillery in Deatsville. They found a cabinet of old blueprints that they are using for the label. Great bourbon.
Glad to hear that it’s good! I definitely need to grab a bottle. Thanks for the info as well as taking the time to watch, comment, and subscribe, Mark! Cheers dude 🥃🥃
Same! I think it’s a limited time thing… A few of the Midwest states and New England states got some. Glad it’s back in some stores! Great value under $40! Cheers RJT’ thanks for watching, commenting, & subscribing! Cheers! 🥃
Yeah… that’s why I’m not too happy with myself with the Michter’s buy… I thought SRP was $140 and it’s $99.., so I am not thrilled lol GTS and Handy were like 500 to 600% mark up… hard pass for me. If it was closer to $200-250 I would have paid that
I tried Tumbling Dice and couldn’t quite place the taste on the finish, but did not like it. I’m looking for the Ben Holladay One Barrel, but no luck so far. I will be visiting their distillery in June. I found out Penelope will be getting wide distribution in my area, finally.
Nice! You’ll have to tell me what you think of Holladay distillery! I need to make it out that way! And awesome news on Penelope! Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing! Cheers! 🥃🥃
Copper & Kings is good. Would be better at a $50 price point. Appreciate the heads up on the Kirkland's Small Batch! Great video and hope to have a pour with you soon.
Aw man, I was at Costy twice this week and somehow I missed the Kirkland Small Batch! I feel like that's basically 1972 Small Batch but for $15 less. I did grab a bottle of the Hibiki Harmony.
Yeah! Very close to 1792 Small Batch. Plus it’s a liter! So 33% more juice! Sorry you missed out!I’ll be giving a bottle away when I hit 2,500 subs so keep an eye out! Cheers man 🥃 thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing!

The only Sunday chicken sandwich and shrimp and grits were had! So good! Then ran into our server Gwen at the Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar..where she gave our doggo some scratches! Great way to end our long weekend in your area!!
Excellent...I enjoy your hunts, but Discount Liquor had pretty pathetic prices. The Old Ezra 7-year Rye is one of my favorites but not for 130...I get in in CO for 60.
Appreciate the kind words! About to post a hunt in Colorado this week! And yeah… not much of a Discount there… some of their prices were right in then some of them were terrible
I love that store, but their points system makes it so difficult to grab some of that other stuff with how quick the points go away. Thanks for watching and commenting Dave!
I usually check the price on a known allocated on the shelf before pulling trigger on an unknown. So when they bad Bookers for 139 that tells me it’s all priced high. Got that MIchters BS for 115 and was happy with that price. And that store having Hidden Barn prominently displayed is a dirty move. It is undrinkable.
Yeah… I usually have a good idea about where MSRP is on bottles. For some reason I had the Michter’s Barrell Strength at $140 in my mind instead of $99.99… still the cheapest Ive found it. But slight buyers regret haha I agree with you on that Hidden Barn 😬😬
That’s a crazy price on the Knob Creek 12! I would buy them all for that price! And a great price on the Evan Williams SiB! When they switched to KY only distribution the last 3 years the MSRP went way up but I’m glad they are back outside of KY! That’s awesome!
Yeah… I have only gotten one and it was $79.99 and I did t think it was that much better than the small batch so I won’t pay more than MSRP personally. Cheers!

Brain brew is right down the street from me! I will definitely need to try it! And agreed on Green River! I’m partial to their Wheater and Rye but enjoy the regular as well! Cheers!
@@whiskey_weather I was introduced to Dexter from a friend of mine, he told me a huge back story on how they made a scotch that tasted exactly like some expensive one (Don’t remember the name) that was made, the master distiller from that company did a blind and couldn’t tell his own product from the Brain Brew distillate.
I know it sounds crazy 199 and yes msrp is only 99 however if you go to the distillery and buy the barrel proof you have to buy a package and yes you get another bottle of one of their core lineup bottles but it comes to like 175 out the door but you get a bottle you don't really want. So I mean it's not that bad
It's a shame so many brands using MGP think they will be able to move bottles at nearly $100. Just not a price bracket you can compete at with random MGP stock. Sure, you have the big scams like Old Carter pulling it off but that's a FOMO bottle for people. If you finish the bottle you can basically slap an extra 10% on top of your price. Even then... why go into a market and offer a product other people offer? What's the business plan? Why are you unique? Finishing - been done. Great looking bottles - also been done. Your best bet if you want to charge $90+ is to blend MGP, Sagamore, Barton, and other distillate to build a profile. K.Luke, RY3, and Barrel Craft are great examples. The other option - if you are not a NDP then you need to wait for your own distillate to get to at least 3 years and do the Redwood Empire move of dropping blends that include your distillate plus MGP. The last option is contract distillation of a unique mashbill but that's nearly as expensive as laying your own barrels because of the amount of time before investment return.
Very well said Andrew. I agree with all of that. It is tiring seeing some of the same things done over and over. But great points about Barrell Craft Spirits, RY3, etc. appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Cheers! 🥃
Honestly, $199 for barrel strength michters isn’t terrible if you think about it in terms of what other cask strength bottles are gonna be that good that you can reasonably get for $199 or less these days. Jeptha creed was personally not my cup of tea. Would not recommend.
Have heard that about their early juice, but have also heard that it got better. Going in with an open mind but we’ll see haha. Cheers Nathan! Appreciate your thoughts and support! 🥃🥃
What was the mistake? Maybe I missed it.
Paid 2x MSRP for the Michter’s Barrel Strength at the end… thought MSRP was closer to $140. It’s $99.99
@@whiskey_weather gotcha. We’ve all made mistakes! 😂 I’ve bought bottles that I thought were actually the allocated and they actually weren’t. Just some subtle label confusion got me.
Not sure I’ve even ever seen that Michters here in OK except for maybe on a list of special allocation list but never seen in person. Thanks!!
Haha been there too! Cheers Fritts! Appreciate you watching and commenting!
OGD114 is $19.99 at Uncorked in Covington ky
