Awesome. Thanks a lot. The only thing i don't see in the video is the advertise of the roller bearing in the gdi presure pump. It is inside the hole and when you take out the cover, the bearing suddenly get out and can cause serious damage to the engine if you don't see it fall inside. Not a big issue but good to know. Thanks a lot

Thanks for the video. I own a 2014 Kia Rio with 208k miles and there is some small amount of oil leak from gasket cover and into spark plugs too. Now I feel confident to do it by myself. Thanks.

Could be your ring seals at the valve cover. When those fail they allow oil to get down the spark plug shaft.

Much appreciated...i broke my PCV valve in the block...i have replaced it many times and even though it was an oem part, it snapped in the block which is a shitty design if you ask me. Anyway, couldnt get the rest of it out and decided to change the valve cover...its the same exact engine and this video is a nice tutorial...thanks

to relief the pressure in the high pressure fuel pump, you need to remove the back seat and pry open the gas tank pump cover (which is glued) and disconnect two connectors, yes bullocks, then disconnect the front pump connector and run the car for about 20 seconds or until it stops itself. enjoy

Fairly certain some of my stem seals are bad. Got major blue/white smoke coming out the tailpipe whenever I start the car, go down hill, and come to a stop & go. Would this be the same area those seals are located? If so, then this would be so easy. Thanks!

    • @PhillipsVision

@@PhillipsVision I’m fairly positive it’s the seals. No loss in coolant and I’ve been having to top the oil off (1qt) every 100 miles or 4-5 days. I did a compression tests and that’s fine. So it must be the seals, but we’ll see! Thank you!
