I was a driver for the Concord Pavilion 34 years ago, driving such greats as Ella Fitzgerald, Rosemary Clooney, George Shearing and B.B. King. One of the most delightful days was driving The Crusaders and Randy Crawford from the Oakland Airport to the concert. She gave me a big hug when we arrived. I will never forget her smile and warmth.
