Thank you, sometimes I just watch this demo as a way of reminding myself I have this pedal and once was here without this pedal. The demo has effectively become a supplementary manual to what came in the box. I use mine for metal.
This video has saved me from buying more pedals so many times. Come back to it whenever it feels like I've explored the Mood fully and Knobs shows me there's always more to discover. Thanks mate.
Now that I've seen the whole video, I can start working on mine... this saved me oodles of time. This will still be a lot to learn, but I have a great start! Thank you so much Mr. Knobs.
My person shared this video with me, he’s into this world, and I don’t know shit but I enjoyed watching this process from start to finish. So freaking cool!!
M O O D = game changer. I need one of these. Great tutorial by the way! I love how you just let us hear the sounds without disruption and just having us read the text. Very informational and easy to learn. Thank you!
Wow...just wow. Well done Chase Bliss-extraordinary modulation pedal. I would never play my guitar if I bought this though. Instead of writing/practicing I’d only endlessly screw around w the pedal.
This is the first pedal that I think of as an instrument. Before this, pedals were used as instruments, but they were not designed as such. With MOOD Chasebliss has developed something like the Korg KaossPad was - an instrument itself.
I will make a very well thought-out decision, whether I will spend some money on this at some point, since I‘m a financially responsible person, but I still want to thank you for your video.
This pedal is a work of art and belongs on the boars of a very talented and competent prog or psychedelic musician. Once I am financially secure enough and skilled enough this will be necessary.
It was watching this and Andy Othling's live ambient sessions that introduced me to Mood. Had to get one and it's amazing! You can plug a monophonic synth into it and get an beautiful soundscape. Quite wonderful :)
I think it’s funny that when I go into my local music store & in my head I’m like “oh, that looks like a beaut of a pedal” & it COMES UP IN MY UA-cam RECOMMENDS. Coincidence? I think the frick naughttt
This by far the most informative video I have seen on the MOOD, excellent job breaking down all the aspects I was wondering about. I will watch this a least 5 times and then 5 in the future to get the full process and to use for my applications.
It sounds fabulous, but... my brain hurts !! What a serious piece of creativity, that needs to be so focused on everything. Thank you for this great (as always) vid, now I need to smell a flower and get back to normal life.
Miles above the average pedal demo video is anything that a sane person can watch without wanting to blow their brains out. You've somehow turned the lowly pedal demo video into a film genre. You're a legend. Thank you for your content. (I'm gonna go buy your book now because I'm not a cheap bastard who doesn't understand economics.)
"Its a musical chemistry set" Alright, I'm intrigued... this seems like itd be fun to toy arround with. I'm a punk and metal guy, so hey, if I find a use for it there, sweet. But honestly, I've been getting into more ambient music lately.
For those of you wondering: Blooper is still in the works, and really not that similar to MOOD. Here's a lil blog post to help clear things up: chaseblissaudio.com/2019/06/19/mood-vs-blooper/
@joe guy...search reddit/guitar pedals...oh, and pick up an EarthQuaker Devices “Avalanche Run” or “dispatch master” and perhaps a “looper” and you’ll be in space in no time👌👍✌️
With my mood I found that it actually can be used also as a very warm low frequencies overdrive. Here’s how: turn off looper channel, activate the delay channel in delay mode; set time amount to zero (at time 20:00 on the knob). Now with the modify knob you can set the amount of low freq boost and with the mix knob the overall overdrive! Tell me what you think about it, personally I find it very very cool and useful!!
This dropped on my way to Brooklyn for a session. I waited ALL DAY until we were bouncing roughs to watch this. Myself and the engineer just sat there with our jaws on the desk in utter silence. Wow. Good show guys.
lo-fi the pedal yeap this is definitely a must get for lo-fi artists who wants to put lo-fi music over sad anime clips I mean I would do the same with this pedal lol
would've actually loved to have seen what the guitar riffs were - sometimes without knowing what you're playing it's hard to understand how the sounds are in their basic form and are being manipulated. Nice video tho!
With Mood Mk II coming out, i was excited for prices to go down. It didn't happen to as great of an extent as i thought it would. Then Chase Bliss knocked 30% off the price for a new one. Now I'm staring out the window waiting for the mail to arrive.
Seems awesome but I'm totally confused on how to use it how can I make adjustments on the fly to change the sounds into what I want? The appeal of this is the forever shifting and changing of textures etc. Live playing with the pedal probably won't sound super smooth
Gonna have to put it somewhere you can reach it, either by putting it on a stand with longer cables running to and from it or bending down and manipulating it on your pedal board.
I need to learn my instrument first. I need to learn my instrument first. I need to learn my instrument first...
It depends what you consider your instrument... Haahaahaa.
First? Naaa, instruments are just a tool to connect whats in your head to other people's heads, learn as you go.

I am now at the point where I just listen to Knobs videos on autoplay instead of Spotify.
ngl their videos are so pleasing, I dont usually watch pedal demos a lot but they always take my attention loolll

Right? Like i wanted some more time off but fuck i.need.dis

There is no time for a job, if you have pedals like this
I have some extra pedals I could sell to get this, right?
Knobs, you are reaching new heights of demo videos, this is art.

Oh Happiness and Joy. A new Knobs video! It's like a little magic arrived in my room.
I'm just in love with this channel. I don't want to buy any peddles.. just love the random lovely sounds decorating the air of my house.

Man… such a great demo. I think I’ve come back to watch this at least 7-8 times because I love the sounds you’re pulling from this pedal.
I have an easier time understanding E=MC2 than I understand how this pedal works.
I don't like pedals with more than 3 knobs
So impractical and way too expensive for a useless pedal

It's bridging the gap between playing guitar and a synthesizer.

The amount of inspiration from all these quirky pedals that chase bliss makes is worth the price.
