    You are absolutely right. Since it is supposed to take 3 weeks for the new cylinders to get here from China, I followed your advice and took the compressors apart and cleaned them. Put them back together and both worked like new. As you said, I am making sure to run them awhile without the whip when I’m done with them to purge all the water from the cylinder. I also bought a 60 inch airline to allow more moisture to condense before reaching the gun and I also set up the compressor to be lower than the gun so condensed moisture will have to move uphill to reach the gun. Haven’t had any problems since. Thanks again!!

    Bro u have kick ass channel bro. I buy from Amazon auctions and check your reviews out before I bid on peoples reviews and I’m trying to learn how to work on and understand things and I have now turned you tube into my college courses lol.
    Sucks because I haven’t got to use your links yet but I’m looking for my next buys to some how try and support the channel what I can. Sorry nothing yet I’m recovering from a hernia surgery but once I’m back at both jobs I’ll be slinging $$$’s like your slingin lead trying to create a cool collection 3 guns in right now but about 10k invested with all the things to be in this for the long haul. I loved 😂your 4 or 5 compressor video that’s about how I feel over here not owning a high end compressor yet but I have several of the smaller units all the way up to a Gx cs4, how well that one works well I can only go off the reviews so far. I don’t have my moisture filtration master piece finished yet so afraid to pump anything yet but heck think probably got close to 1k just in the gs cx4 filters and fittings and fill attachments.

    Amazon and eBay thankfully can save we Airgunners some serious cash. I found a small ac/dc compressor for well under 200$. If there was ever a time to get into shooting PCPs brother it is now. The Avenger and a pump like this and your golden!💯👍

    I've got the same compressor. It seems to work well. 11m57s to fill an FX Maverick from 1800psi to 3650psi 510cc CF bottle. That was on battery power, so a little slower than when connected to the mains. So far so good.

    I just got a Spritech ($166) and it reaches max temp at a little over 1 minute and only fills about 400. So it takes 2 or 3 fills to get full with 20 minute wants in between. Bout to return it.

    Got pretty much sold for this slightly more expensive model.
    Two fans and a bit slower pumping run seems like a good thing to me. Also to get another filter, and probably a longer whip.
    I've been using my motorized handpump machine for quite some time, but I'd now wanna explore the compressor world a bit. Hope these last in use - but si'd be mlre than ready to explore the inner builds also if a fail would occur.

    Great video thanks. I just ordered another one of those separators. I have one on my compressor but now I guess I will have 2. Does it make any difference if the filters closer to the gun or not? I noticed you have yours right on the compressor. I have mine at the end of the hose. Thanks.
    Fred

    • @airshootist
      @airshootist  Рік тому +3

      Hey Fred. Hard to say which position of the separator is best. Some say near the gun, I usually run it on the compressor side. I feel like a lot of water buildup occurs right at the fill nipple on the compressor so stripping most of that out before sending it to the gun seems better to me. Usually I position the tiny inline filter on the gun side, with the bigger filter on the compressor side

    I am looking into this compressor for my Airsoft HPA bottle. It is a 1L bottle, the supplier Vevor mentions on the website, it can do max 1.5L.
    Would this be an issue? I usually wont run it close to empty.

    • @airshootist
      @airshootist  10 місяців тому +2

      Hey! Honestly it should be no problem but maybe check out my review on the Orcair Thunder compressor. It is a little heavier duty in terms of filling larger bottles. In any case just make sure you limit your fills to about 20 minutes of run time and then the same amount of cooling fan time after. Always use a moisture filter. And never start it up against pressure! Appreciate you if you use my links in the video descriptions, king! Cheers!

    I own the unit that you are reviewing plus the smaller single fan unit. Both of them have stopped putting out air. Everything appears to be working. It sounds the way it always has. The piston is going up and down. The fans are running but no air output. I sent videos to Vevor. They say that both compressors have the same problem. They say the cylinder needs replaced. They sent me a picture of the part and I took the cover off and found it but all I know is they call it the cylinder I don’t know exactly what that part is. I’ve never worked on these before . They have offered to send me the part but it could take up to a month to get here from China. They just sent me another email stating that they would reimburse me money and I could purchase the parts locally, you stated that you work on the machines and sourced the parts from vendors. Can you refer me somewhere that I could purchase parts so I can work on it myself? You’re right I took them apart and they sent me a video to show me how to disassemblethe compressor and put the cylinder back in. I’d really appreciate it if you could tell me where to source parts for these things.
